We came here tonight first time we’ve been. Used a Groupon voucher food was amazing. I had the Thai mussels and the barramundi delicious. My partner had the chilli prawns and calamari they were just as good. Followed by churros yum!! I was hesitant today going after I read the reviews on this page but I realised I had nothing to worry about. Will be back �
Busy cafe, food was delicious, best lunch we’ve had on our holiday so far! If you are in Belgrave you should definitely go!
The Moroccan lamb salad was packed with flavour and the serving was huge. They had a generous amount of lamb which was nicely cooked.
Service was quick and friendly. Will come back and try other items :)
Quality quality quality. Food here is amazing with not one critique. Cant wait to come back. Food sizes are huge!

This was such an amazing brunch experience!!
The drive to Belgrave is quite a trek however I think that if you are in the area or would like to explore Belgrave itself this is the cafe you should visit! The food was really trendy, well presented and delicious!! I really appreciated the service as well and felt I was very looked after.
We ordered the Poached Pear Pancakes and the vegetarian Breaky. Also got to try the new special in the menu which was the beetroot falafels and they were all very delicious!!
The poached pear pancakes came with a saffron coloured, soft poached pear as well as a delicious butterscotch sauce. Only fault for these is that the pancakes were maybe just a little underdone but none the less still very tasty!
The Vegetarian breaky was also very delicious and very filling- a little too much food for myself however I do believe it was good value for money! The dish consisted of roast pumpkin, poached eggs, mushrooms, a corn fritter, salsa and wilted kale. Everything was cooked really well!! Kale could have done with a little more seasoning but I did not mind too much- especially with the salsa and the fritter!
The beetroot falafel's were my favourite- they had a depth of flavour which I appreciated and came with a generous serving of hummous and yummy salad.
Overall, Loved this cafe and would go again if I'm in the area!!
Have been to this cafe twice now and have loved being in there both times. Had a parm with chips and salad, partner had risotto and both dishes were good. If i had to fault anything it would be the parm salad does not have 1 tomotoe in it or even a bit of onion but ok all the same. The food is really nice and the customer service from the blond girl is really 10 out of 10. She is so friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. Atmosphere is nice, view just sitting there watching the traffic is quite pleasant actually. Prices reasonable. Definitely will be back
Staff was very friendly and gave really good service, food had amazing presentation. I ordered the pear pancakes and the special which was waffles with blueberry cream both were very good, if only they had more sweet items on the menu.
Great little restaurant/cafe. Went with a Groupon and it was definitely worth the money. Polite staff, great food, great service. Will definitely be going back.
Amazing little cafe tucked away in Belgrave. W and I visited one weekend on a Groupon. The cafe was quiet and we were seated promptly. We ordered the scrambled eggs and smashed avo with coffee and freshly squeezed juice each. This humble combination of smashed avocado, spinach and poachies on pumpkin toast stole my heart. So simple...but possibly one of the tastiest smashed avo dishes I’ve had to date. W found his scrambled eggs thoroughly enjoyable. Juices were delicious and refreshing, perfect after hitting the 1000 steps. Service was impeccable. Will definitely return.
Benson’s is a shopfront café on a corner location, right across from the Puffing Billy railway station. It has a large glass facade affording street views, and inside, the large dining space features a predominantly chocolate brown décor, including, the floor, counters and fittings, with off-white walls. There is a cosy nook down the back with upholstered benches sporting a retro 70s design, and some interesting wall art. The table settings, too, are in dark timber, and are plain but elegant. The menu is fairly standard, but there were vegetarian items, including my selection, the veggie breakfast, which comprises a corn and zucchini fritter, mushrooms, roasted pumpkin, kale and an option to substitute scrambled tofu for eggs. It was very nice and certainly filling, and the coffee was well made and served at a good temperature. The service was welcoming and attentive, despite being a busy Sunday morning. Quite a good cafe, and worthwhile checking out.

When advertised open until 5 I would assume the kitchen also open,
However, stayed for cakes had to get up to order then again for drinks as the waitress never came back.
The iced snickers and iced cookies and cream were to sweet and to thick To drink. Didn’t drink them and still paid. Two small cakes weren’t worth the $30.
However, I’ve heard the food is good so i will return to try there menu one day.
Love this place, been here a few times. Great menu selection and reasonable prices. Staff are lovely as well! I had a snickers milkshake which did not disappoint.
