Fantastic spot! Cannot rave enough about this place. The owner is awesome - great service and attention to detail.
Food is impeccable - beautiful for date night.
Will come back for:
+ Twice cooked spiced chicken ribs
+ Prawn Kataifi
+ Spiced Goat Leg
Was in this part of town, and hunting for a place for dinner and was glad we found this place. The dishes were inspired by Lebanese cuisine but given a modern twist. Generally, all the dishes tasted great and had well balanced flavours and interesting textures. I particularly liked the spiced chicken rib and prawn kataifi (these were moorish, and would go really well with a beer or two), and the goat leg (tender and falling off the bone, with nice spice coverage and a great salad accompaniment). The dukkha donuts were good, but weren’t my favourite (a little sweet for a savoury dish). Service was friendly, and you can tell the place pride itself for matching wines/beers with the food (although I wasn’t drinking tonight). Will definitely be back!
Have been dying to come here for so long! The food, quality and service was above and beyond what was expected! Everything we ate was so delicious - I highly recommend!
Have been dying to come here for a while, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I came here with my brother, with the intention of having a wine post a dinner from another venue. In saying that, we couldn’t look past the modern and enticing menu designed to be matched with your wine. The arancini, in particular were divine.
Tanya (the owner, I presume), really made the night what it was in addition to excellent wine and superb food.
Amazing to have this gem locally.
Can’t wait to bring my partner here, and the rest of the family. Thank you for a wonderful experience for the senses!
Came to Wolfe & Molone on a Wednesday night with a kid. It was relatively empty at 5:30 with people slowly dribbling in around 7. The waitress didn’t seem too enthusiastic which may be a mood kill for some, but it was ok for us.
We ordered the half serve of the roast chicken, the dry rubbed lamb and the sticky pork ribs which was absolutely sensational. It was falling off the bone to the point you could barely hold it by the rib without it cascading off onto your plate. The BBQ sauce was sticky and smoky.
The lamb and the chicken was okay, the portions were extremely generous (we were warned by the waitress that we may not finish, but we prevailed) however both dishes weren’t the most juicy thing in the world.
We had the south side aviation and Dark & stormy Tiki cocktails, which were the highlights of the night. The aviation was punchy in flavour without having the pure sweet fig liqueur taste lingering, and the Tiki was fruity and boozy.
Overall an enjoyable experience and would definitely come back for maybe a date night.

Staff are friendly
This place is quite noisy for a restaraunt / bar and seating is quite cramped
The food however is tasty and the wine selection good
Good for a quick drink in Bentleigh however would not recommend for meetings which require deep conversations or extensive talk
I like early dinners but didn’t expect at 6.30 this place would be so packed. Good first impression!
Huge selection of booze; I picked a glass of Prosecco (sorry can’t remember name). I think it was from an open bottle, not much fizz and a little lacking on the sweet bubble that I’m used to. Partner had a gin cocktail with spiced ginger. Very nice!
We weren’t hugely hungry so just had a few small plates: kingfish sashimi was amazing. It was dressed with miso aioli and little pieces of crackling. I could have had another plate! The mussel escabeche didn’t do it for me. Four mussels with almost a cooked bruschetta dressing. I’m not a mussel lover, unlike my partner but neither of us loved it unfortunately.
The strawberry shortcake was interesting. The hard ice cream at the base made it hard to eat. The meringue, strawberries & biscuit were lovely.
This place has great reviews and I can see why. Whilst we weren’t wowed completely with the experience, the service was fantastic and I will definitely come back bcz what they do, they do very well and I realise sometimes you need to try more of the menu. Neither of us were that hungry tonight so looking forward to the next visit.
This is my favourite place. Amazing food, wonderful service and delicious wine. We always go here for special occasions. They always keep things interesting by introducing new dishes and new wines. The owner is incredibly passionate and makes all the locals feel right at home. Highly recommended!
We stopped by for a pre-dinner drink and experienced this fantastic wine bar for the first time. The service we received was brilliant and the wine offerings were beyond what we could ever have imagined. Thankfully a very attentive waitress was on hand and I had a delicious Pinot noir while hubby had a negroni garnished with tasty crisp dried citrus slices. We’ll be back to enjoy a full dinner soon and to experience more of your delicious food and wine.

Since discovering Wolfe and Molone last year it has become one of our favourite wine bars to visit with friends and family. Located in the suburb of Bentleigh, this cosy neighbourhood gem is the perfect place to stop off for a quick glass of wine or settle in for a more memorable afternoon/evening with good friends whilst grazing away on delicious seasonal share plates created by their very talented Head Chef Phil Latta.
We’ve driven past this place a few times and it’s packed every time; always a good sign when picking a restaurant.
The food was fresh and tasty and the vibe was awesome. Very cute and cosy so bookings are recommended.
The menu isn’t huge but there’s plenty of variety which means we’ll definitely be back to try other things soon 😜
Lots of wines and cocktails to choose from too which again; is always a good sign 😂
I would have given them a five star if the owner of this wine bar would stop correcting their customers on their pronunciation of wines and foods.
Great place
Awesome service
Best place to come & chill with the family with a mocktail or an extensive bar selection
Food is spot on
Highly recommend it
Stopped by this wine bar and restaurant on Friday night for a few drinks and some snacks. The wine list is impressive and we opted for a rose which was light and crisp and perfect for the sunny weather Melbourne has been having. We then shared the Tortilla which had a lovely flavour with a lot of yummy elements. I recommend.
We also tried the prosciutto but it was a little too thick and fatty for my liking. But the olive bread it cake with was Delish!
The service was great too, very attentive.
Thumbs up!
Enjoyed a nice (rare) evening out with hubby, nice we could just walk here too.
We liked the cosy layout and it wasnt too busy as midweek. Ordered a sharing platter which was full of surprises - delicate tasty in house pickled veg, beautiful house made charcuterie (smoked duck was amazing) and the little horseradish pancakes with apple were very clever and utterly delicious. I have a feeling it could get a tad crazy when full on a weekend. I rather liked our low key evening. Owner?/host was attentive and helpful - just feel the menu needs a bit more clarity with sharing plates as we had to ask? or perhaps it could be explained on seating guests. Dessert shared, was a let down and not well executed at all - sticky date pudding was very dry, tough from microwave? and no dates to be seen. Dont mess with the classics unless it works well. Will return for sure however . . . .
What a local gem! We just enjoyed a lovely meal and a few drinks as a family and couldn’t rate this establishment highly enough. The team were friendly and attentive, the wine list extensive and interesting and the food delicious. I don’t understand how people could rate this place badly. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return.
Awesome little wine bar in Bentleigh. Tanya (the owner) really knows her stuff and is extremely hospitable. The food is exquisite and inexpensive which is rare with wine bars. 5 stars all the way
Loved it. Knowledgeable service staff and the food and wine was excellent. Order the grazing plate if you're visiting, it's generous in size and comes with lots of extras.
Staff are super attentive and the food is on another level. I normally don't give feedback, but I couldn't speak more highly about this place. Definitely worth trying, it a little hidden gem.
This place is amazing. Such a gem a quiet family neighborhood. The stuff are Friendly and welcoming. The mulled wine is delicious and so was the food. Love this place.
The Dear Luncher was recently bewitched by one of Bentleigh’s newest additions – Wolfe and Molone. Located on Centre Road, it’s amazing to think this particular area has until now lacked a wine bar of this variety – a place to wet the whistle in style. Wolfe and Molone pride themselves on offering up home-made, local and sustainable produce. The Dear Luncher enjoys knowing that he’s helping the world while stuffing himself silly.
Great new addition to the area. Great wines and charcuterie. Some tapas dishes were hit and miss but overall a great experience! Will be back.
We went out with friends, on one of those rare occasions with no kids. So we were already off to a nice relaxing start. The night continued on this way and we were rewarded $35 per head with endless amounts of food. Yes the drinks were extra, but for this price and what we got... Well the photos are just a snapshot.
Was the food out of this world? No, but not a soul left unhappy and for the new place on the strip, well I see only good things to come.
