It's hard to fault a lot Melbourne breakfast places as they are all great in their own way but this place is something special. From the decor to the staff to the amazing menu and food, was such a great experience all around
As its name suggests there are plenty of good times to be had here. Coffee is great and poured by adept baristas and there are also plenty of non-caffeine options to choose from.
It is a good local brunch spot but I would not go out of my way to eat here. I ordered the pastrami benedict. It was nice but it felt a bit pricey for the amount of food there was. The individual items were rly nice on their own but together it felt like it didn’t blend well.

I had such a good experience at this cafe. Walking in, you are hit with the beautiful decor - I love the colours, imagery and greenery. We sat in the puppy-friendly courtyard and there was no shortage of puppies running around.
The food did not disappoint. I ordered the Pea Fritters and I'd order them again next time. They were perfectly crunchy on the outside and so soft and tasty on the inside. Even the side salad it is served with is delish.
I highly recommend the Smoothie #2 if you like the tropical flavours. It has mango, coconut, passionfruit and coconut milk. So fresh and delicious.
Make sure you check out their collection of lollies at the front counter - push pops, nerds, zappos! So many good ones that remind me of my childhood.

😱Lizzie’s first impression: I've seen so many photos on social media and I finally got to try this place out - was super excited about it. The place is super cute and the staff are all very friendly. They have an abundance of choices on their menu too.
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: The aesthetics of these dishes made me want to just stare at it and not eat it. First up was the dippy eggs, although my dippy eggs was completely boiled into hard boiled eggs, the taste of the dish was really nice - I added bacon croutons to it and it was super delicious.
Next up was the fried chicken Buffalo burger that I had - there was plenty of flavour (a good amount of mayo sauce) and it was paired with the most delicious spicy waffles fries!! I would go back just for that.
Last but not least was the french toast. This is one of the best ones I've tasted this year. It had the best caramelised banana along with dollops of dulce le leche. The flavour pairings were absolutely spot on! I loved it.
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy:I really wished it wasn't as far from the cbd as it is. The food is really good here so would love to see another cafe open up closer to the CBD.
Unfortunately my dippy eggs was way too overcooked - but probably my fault for leaving it out for photos instead of munching on it.
🥇Lizzie rates overall: a very well thought out menu and cafe. The cafe has lots of open spaces and especially the outdoor area outside and the burger bar on the side of the cafe. Such a brilliant idea. I hope to be back soon!

If you love pink, you’ll love Good Times Milk Bar. But not only is the cafe itself extremely cute, the food is especially delicious.
Got a table out the back in the ‘puppy courtyard’, ordered coffees, the chilli scramble and an iced chai. Everything was amazing, and the staff were friendly, met the owner and he was lovely as well - always a bonus 🙏

Good Times Milk Bar is a bright and spacious cafe by day and burger bar by night located in Bentleigh.
Visiting for a weekend lunch we ordered the dippy eggs, French Toast and corn fritters along with a freshly squeezed OJ and golden latte to drink. The highlights for us were the dippy eggs, French Toast and OJ.
The dippy eggs are a fancy take on the classic eggs with soldiers. Presented in a pink egg carton, the eggs are accompanied by Rustica sourdough soldiers generously coated in pecorino, avocado cream, relish and hemp seed dukkah. The dippy eggs were perfectly gooey and beautifully complimented the crunchy soldiers and sides. The dish was relatively simple but full of flavour. It was a fun dish to eat and I enjoyed mixing all the components, I only wish I had added bacon crumb.
My friend had the French Toast and she was impressed. This beautifully plated dish is perfect for a sweet tooth. The French Toast is served with dulce de leche, banana, espresso cream, Callebaut white chocolate, lemon balm & lemon curd. It was sweet, creamy and a little zesty.
The corn fritters were nice as expected although didn’t stand out the way the dippy eggs and French Toast did. The eggs were perfectly poached and the tomato kasundi added a bit of bite to the dish.
Normally I wouldn’t be excited over an orange juice however the coolly presented OJ at Good Times is an exception. The freshly squeezed juice comes served in an old school glass bottle complete with the Good Times logo along and an ice filled glass.
Overall I had a great experience at Good Times Milk Bar and I recommend you check them out if you’re in the area. The cafe has great vibe and a tasty menu. I rate Good Times Milk Bar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. Thanks very much for having me.

We went on a beautiful 20 degree Melbourne day. We chose to sit in the courtyard but really was a doggy-yard! We loved it! Friendly locals sharing dog convo, who could as for more! I would defs come again and redeem myself as on local said “How did they let you in without a dog!” 😂😂 she wasnt wrong! Great food, great vibes! Will return.

Green eggs and ham was the highlight, would recommend.
Tomato medley was cool with the various tomatoes but the dish was a bit basic.
Gems were great.
Golden gaytime and orange juice were good as well.

We had our Benedict, roasted brown mushroom gnocchi and eggs Napoli over mango smoothie and carrot juice.
We are still reminiscing over the gnocchi and the Benedict, both were exceptionally delicious and very satisfying to eat. They only use best quality ingredients and everything was cooked to perfection.
Highly recommend the potato gems, so crispy and yummy it was. The drinks were equally refreshing to drink.
The service is friendly and prompt and the team of staff are all very welcoming, attentive and kind. The ambiance is charming and peaceful, and you’re bound to have a great time here, while dining @goodtimesmilkbar

We’ve visited GTMB at least a handful of times in the past and would have more so if we were local. Great to pop in and grab brunch for the first time since all that awful covid stuff and see the team still going strong.
The interior always cheers me up with pastel and brightness and greenery and beats.
Ordered the tried and true smashed avo with bacon and theirs is definitely nicely fresh with tomato’s and radish. The other half was tossing up between the decadent hotcakes and the healthier Breakfast Greens and ended up going down the wholesome path with broccolini, green beans, kale, poachie and a side of halloumi.
The coffee is great here but if you want to try something more substantial I highly recommend the peanut butter smoothie … almost a breakfast in itself.
They have a courtyard for those sunnier days and used to do burgers after hours down the side but that’s not operating atm so you’ll need to get your evening burger fix somewhere else (or grab one for dining in for lunch).

📝: Been eyeing this cafe for a while love. Absolutely love their cute branding and vibes. Finally had a chance to visit them this week.
❤️: We grabbed the Cinnamon Waffles which came with housemade chai ice cream, berry compote, and maple butter. We also got the Green Eggs & Ham with
pressed pork hock, rosti, pea puree, poached eggs, dill hollandaise, salt & vinegar kale crisps. Delicious!
Good Times Milkbar is the place to brunch! They have a great selection of brunch dishes, including chilli scrambled eggs with lots of cheesy melted through it and the right amount of hit to wake you up. The brekky greens was amazing with broccolini, greens beans and kales and we also shared the waffles… mainly so we can stay later to chat, drink coffee and soak up the fab vibe. Visit when you can, it’s one of those must visit cafes in Melbourne.
Nice place to have breakfast or brunch, the food is very tasty, the dishes are fresh, not too big but still very good.
Staff is friendly and the service is fast.
Prices are okay too

Marked on Google maps as a "corner shop", it's heaps more than that! Creative layout good size kitchen. The interior opens into larger area with covid spaced tables. I had a simple quick snack and was surprised at the quality of the service and the coffee. Will go back for a full breakfast with friends when allowed!
Came for the cured salmon dish and was not disappointed! If the portion was bigger it would be perfect 👌
