I love this place for my takeaway coffee. Fast service with the most friendly staff who love to chat while getting your order ready! I have eaten here a few times as well as can say the food is delicious!
Lovely pancakes for breakfast. Great presentation, tasted great - I thoroughly enjoyed it!! Will be coming back for seconds and to try out their other foods! I would recommend this place!
Georgie Porgie is an all day eatery on Bentleigh’s Centre Road – offering breakfast and lunch menus and burgers from 11:30am. We visited in the evening to try some of their burgers for dinner. The cafe was deserted when we arrived and remained fairly empty for most of our visit. We did visit early, around 6pm, however, it was a shame as it did make the cafe feel a little flat. I can image on busier days there is much more of an atmosphere. It’s a bright cafe, just about funky enough to have a cool vibe, but not feel out of place in suburban Bentleigh.

Finally another competitive cafe in the area!
With Five Senses coffee and good-priced burgers - I can't wait to bring groups of friends here for dinner, aaand I don't have to stress too much for local dinner parking unlike Carnegie, Chadstone, Oakleigh or Elsternwick!
Had a catch up with girlfriends at this lovely local cafe restaurant and the food was delicious and service was amazing! And yummy donuts!!! Definitely coming back!
Good breakfast and lunch place, nice hidden back area which has outside seating. Great in the spring and summer.
Burgers are great with a good mixture of types.
If you are in Bentleigh and have a late night craving for burgers come here. Georgie porgie is a great place to go, it's a cafe during the day and burger place at night. We were invited to try the burgers and they were delicious. I had the mini sliders great choice if you couldn't decide on which burger to buy. The duke of pork slider was my favourite, loved the pulled pork and coleslaw. I found that the burgers and loaded fries are on the large side (winning!) And the golden gay time shake with soy milk was delicious.
Georgie Porgie hosted the Melbourne Foodie Hub recently, which I'm lucky to be a part of, and boy did they put on a feast. Started off with some crazy freakshakes: I had the Nutella which was nice, the milkshake was more chocolate though than Nutella but the glass was slathered in nutella so I was happy! I had the vegetarian burger which was really good. The veggie patty was well made, with visible mixed veggies and lentils. The pickled beetroot was also a nice touch and complimented the burger really well.
Cheat day at Georgie Porgie Burger Bar. Brunch by day and Burgers by night ! Serving a great range of burgers and freakshakes . One of the highlights was the Golden Gaytime shake I left it to melt into the shake and it tasted amazing! And don't forget to add the extras to your burger to make it an extra worthy cheat day !
Ordered the Kings Feast and it was huge!! Great serving sizes and all the inclusions you could ask for. Another decent burger joint to check out if you're in the area.
Golden Gaytime shake was yummy.. flavorsome but not too sickly sweet either.
Georgie Porgie is a hip new cafe/restaurant in Bentleigh, founded by its chef and namesake George Foundas. They serve a range of breakfast classics alongside burgers, dogs and monster thick shakes. Plus some great coffees and teas of course.
We started off with some chorizo snags. They were accompanied by red pepper caramel, mustard, in a super soft bun and red cabbage. The chorizo was so juicy, went so well with the red pepper caramel, which was so good they should bottle it and sell separately. There were two dogs on the plate, but they are quite filling. One hotdog would be enough for most people. Perfectly golden and crispy fries on the side too.
Janeca tried the ham off the bone, tomato and cheese jaffle. The gooey cheese was complemented by the salty ham. A breakfast basic done well, what more can you ask for?
Also had a tangy blood orange and chilli lemonade, and energising coffee. No “Latte Art” for once! Is the trend over? I feel like it has had its day…
With good service and delicious food, Georgie Porgie is one of Melbourne’s must visit cafes.
Really enjoyed breakfast here. My wife had the nduja on toast with eggs, and I had the black rice pudding which was sensational. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.
Great space, great location, kid friendly, lovely staff and fantastic food to boot! Highly recommend the King George Burger!! Will be back 10/10
I really like Georgie Porgie. Coffee is good. Fresh squeezed juice is good. Fruit toast is yummy. Big breakfast is HUGE. Staff are attentive. And I love the quirkiness of the XXX and Georgie Porgie pudding and pie part.
Decent coffee and desert. Only down side is it's quite slow to serve.
I've been here about 10 times and every time I've had a delicious burger. So far I've only tried the cheese burger and standard burger but both are excellent - juicy, flavorsome patty, tasty bun, perfect fillings.
You can get your burger with steak fries and it's worth it - they're crunchy and taste fresh.
Better than any of the other burger places I've tried in Bentleigh.
Food can be good, but is inconsistent. I've ordered the same dish multiple times and it varied so much I didn't recognize it when the staff presented my meal. Coffee is good, park in the Coles park. Friendly staff and child/dog/vegan friendly
