Always go here for takeaway Thai. Excellent food as always. Ingredients are always fresh and service is always lovely. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend

I was looking forward to trying out Mama's Kitchen, but alas when I got there (Friday lunchtime) it was closed, with a sign on the door saying it will reopen in May (I think it was the 10th). There was newspaper stuck to the inside of the windows.

I'm still looking forward to going there.

My next choice Bentleigh Chinese Kitchen was also closed. Just for today by the looks of it.

My final destination was food but uninspiring. I'm not inclined to bag places, so I won't review it.

They were just on holidays. I went again and found that nothing has changed: remarkably nice food, modest but nice ambience and very kind owners. Lovely! I will be back.

Started with a small serving of spring rolls came with lots of lettuce. Pho was good just wish it was hotter on a cold day. Great value though, I might just ask next time for my soup to be hotter.

Good takeaway. My wife and I order takeaway from here several times a month.

The menu is half Vietnamese and half Thai. The Vietnamese items of the menu are very good and the Thai items are not far behind. Ingredients are fresh and healthy and you afterwards you don't feel as if you've just eaten fast food.

We like their pho, rice papers rolls and fried rice. The pad thai and their stir fries are also pretty good. The only criticism is that occasionally the dishes are a bit light on for meat (maybe on busy nights when stocks run low).

Overall, this place delivers consistent Asian takeaway food which won't leave you feeling gluggy afterwards and the staff are friendly.

Best Asian Takeaway South Side of the Yarra. We've tried many Asian takeaways but this is the best. Meals are fresh and delicious and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Word to the wise - Phone your order ahead of time as it can get very busy.
