Exceptional quality pizza, generous amount of fresh ingredients used as toppings with minimal cheese. It wasn’t oily at all and actually tasted quite healthy for a pizza. Nice crisp base and fast delivery.
I am a big fan of marinara pizza here. It is simple but fresh with toppings generously given. Minus 0.5 point as they once delivered wrong order to me but the quality literally can help forget their mistake.
Am so loyal to My Place, my only issue with it is that I always finish a family pizza on my own in like 5 seconds and then hate myself 😂 the staff are pleasant, pizza is beyond fantastic, not too much topping but great quality and not at all greasy. Delivery drivers are always exceptionally nice blokes, too.

For our first experience of MyPlace I ordered home delivery tonight around 7:45pm: Only two small pizzas. I was told it would be around half an hour, which is OK, even though we live 5 minutes drive away (It is Friday night after all, and in the busiest time).
Around 9:00pm I get a phone call from the delivery guy, saying he knocked on our door, and tried to call us, but no one answered. I told him that we were right here, waiting, and yet we heard nothing.
He told me he was on his way.
Around 20 minutes later he turned up and delivered two STONE COLD pizzas; About an hour and a half after I ordered.
Fortunately, I'd anticipated this and put the oven on after he called. Once I reheated the pizzas they were actually very good. However, the service was a massive disappointment.

I tried again on Sunday night. This time the delivery went as it (always) should...and the Food was excellent.
...and just in case anyone thinks my revision was motivated by the management's offer of free food, as listed below: I did not take them up on it.
Originally, they suggested I was too harsh, so I gave them a second chance, and they did really well.
I thought I'd leave my original review in place, just so that people can see just how impressed I was with my second delivery.

If you're looking for a local pizza place then I can tell you from experience this is the BEST in the area. I've tried other places in Bentleigh and surrounding suburbs but the pizzas are way better here. If you know of anywhere in the area you think is better or even comparable, leave a comment, I'd be interested to know!
Now I wouldn't tell you to drive across town to try it, but if you're a local you need to check this place out.
Don't expect a fancy place or cutting edge recipes. It's just really good, honest pizza with fresh ingredients.
We usually just get takeaway or home delivery (which is pretty reliable). But you can eat there too which is fun. It's small and informal, just don't expect a fancy place.
Yes I think it's still cash only which is a downside, but it's worth it.
Great local pizza place. Tasty toppings and good combinations of flavours. Good size range of pizzas, the small is perfect for one person and great value. Quick service too. The crust in yummy and thin, not soggy, has a good bite to it. I've given most of the pizza places in the area a try and My Place is consistently up there with the best. Good base, amount of toppings, taste and price. I just had the tweety bird, great with the pesto and pine nuts. Just take note that it's cash only which is a bit inconvenient.
My favourite pizza place... have tried many options from the menu and all have been delicious. . the level of cheese is perfect for me... not too overloaded, therefore you can taste all the other ingreidents, which makes it very healthy, especially when considering a semi wholemeal base.... A guilt free pizza place.
I love these pizzas, so amazing, they are soo tasty and mouth watering, Food was reasonably priced and taste lovely, ambience was great. Highly recommend to go try them out
My Place Pizza is by far the best pizza place in Melbourne. I always get the super veg with added chicken. Its awesome, fresh quality ingredients and great cripy base and excelkent staff. If you want quality pizza, then look no further! My Place Pizza is worth a lot more than what they are charging for pizza. Prices are too low for that quality!! I am yet to find a pizza place that even comes close. Get to My Place if you are not local its worth the drive!
I have been ordering pizzas from My Place Pizza for around 15 years and I have always rated it as one of the best hidden pizza gems Melbourne has to offer. Make sure you try the following pizzas "Italiano" - delicious pizza with Prosciutto, Salami, Mushrooms, Pesto and one nuts, The Tweety Bird, "My Place Special" and Garlic Calzone - ask for Salami on the Calzone, it's a winner!! Tried for the first time tonight. Got My Place Special, Tweety Bird and the East Bentleigh. All were fantastic. Pizzas were very fresh and delicious. Would recommend and we will be back. Thanks Naomi....you were most helpful and pleasant.
Been coming here for years and the pizza is 10/10 consistently. A true home style pizza, as if you’d cut the onion and capsicum yourself, instead of pre packaged “plastic” veg. Generous top quality toppings with a thin and crispy base. A genuine owner who is always there ensuring the place is running smooth, with nice thoughtful details.
We LOVE this pizza place, cannot recommend it enough. We've tried most of the menu and order our favourites regularly. They are consistently the best pizza we've had outside of Italy.
Unbelievable pizzas. Must try the Nutella ice cream pizza for dessert. Have also picked up and the staff are fantastic. Good fun watching them make the pizzas. Great family run business. Never going elsewhere
Ordered the east bentleigh and the lot and man was I blown away! As soon as I saw it I was impressed. It looked fresh and tasted just as fresh. Thin bases with a nice crisp to it. Not a lot of cheese but a whole lot of flavour!!! I was very surprised by the quality of this place It’s is now officially my go to pizza place.
This is our go to pizza place since we moved to East Bentleigh. Consistent and really good variety and flavours. The kids love it! Love the owners car too... 😀

Staff needs training & should respect customers more - after all without us they don't have a job.
