The bread and pastries definitely lived up to the hype but probably my favourite was the cheese and caramelised onion toastie (out of this world good 🌟) and the fennel and raisin sourdough toasted and slathered with Pepe Saya butter and nectarine jam. I took a loaf of that sourdough home! The service was friendly and efficient and the coffee was pretty good too. There’s seating outside next to the store to “eat in”.
Hands down best bakery on the South Coast. Everything on offer is just delicious. Coffee is great too. Just check their trading days/hours before going.
Unique flavours of pastry rare to find elsewhere. Tried their tahini scroll and almond pastry - so fresh, buttery, crisp on outside yet SO moist n soft (bready) on the inside. See photos. I could eat a million more and was absolutely stunned on first bite. Small con- they could add more filling in their pastries (to add flavour , taste, sweetness, bite) Will b back to try every other pastry and bread loaves. Nothing similar in sydney. You. Must. Try.
