A hidden gem you would otherwise not discover if not for the ferry to cross the river.
Other than the long wait times for the food to be ready due to the small kitchen, the quality of the food was surprisingly high. The portions were a little small to share between a table of five but the flavours were dripping with essence. The oysters were goooood but it’s on the pricey end.
Love this restaurant. Service was warm, friendly and professional. Location was so peaceful. Decor rustic and relaxed. Food was awesome. Wine 🍷 list excellent. Highly recommended.
Food was outstanding. Luckily we went into this thinking it was more of a fine dining experience and therefore understood that portion sizes might be on the smaller size for the price. We usually only do fine dining for anniversaries and this was one of the best. We did the set menu and the food was excellent quality. The view is wonderful especially at sunset and staff were friendly. Only criticism is the pinot grigio tasted like water. Other than that, come here for a fancy meal and expect to pay quite a bit but the chefs know what they're doing!
Don't expect to be able to turn up on the weekend without a reservation at this place! The food here is nice but the real reason to go there is the atmosphere. Sitting in the deck on a warm sunny day looking out over the river is pretty magical. It's tiny, but the open air makes it feel much larger.
Our favourite dish was the Bresaola, it was light and delicious. We didn't enjoy the kingfish as much but the beef cheek had great flavour and the pork was well cooked and despite what other reviews say as really loved the desserts. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the food they put out considering how tiny the kitchen is.
If you don't want to pay $7.50 for bottled mineral water make sure you specify tap water.
A Chef Secrets – more like a secret chef
Nestled in Berowra Waters, straight off the ferry, if you blink you will miss it.. find it and you will have found one of the best restaurants serving up great Italian food. The menu is enticing and the food absolutely delicious, from the entrée through to the mains and then onto the dessert the flavours are bold and balanced perfectly.
You can judge the food by the care that is taken to prepare the dishes with quality produce.

This place is a hidden gem! Right on the water, these guys do amazing authentic homemade Italian cooking. Today we ordered one of their 'take home' dinner packs for our mum's 60th birthday, good quantity but more importantly amazing quality. If you want a taste of what proper Italian cooking is, then this is the place to go, very authentic and all homemade with fresh ingredients!
Really great food and wonderful little spot on the water! Quite unique as is just a little shack but with fine food. The owner is super friendly and his suggestions were spot on!
It can be a little hard to find right next to the barge. There is also no toilet so you have to walk up to the public one a few hundred metres up the road which isn't ideal...
I would also give the dessert a miss, was not in the same league as the starters, sides and mains.
All up, a unique spot and a great meal!
Wow wow wow! What a beautiful cute little set up! Food was ahhhmazing! Scenery was refreshing and calming. Highly recommend!
