Went looking for a petrol station and found the most amazing Tavern. We were 9 adults from Sydney in a van, running low in petrol so the tavern owner drove two of us half an hour away to the nearest petrol station that was open just to fill up 2 jerry cans so we could make it back to Darwin. We all had amazing meals, the T-Bone steak was to "die for". The beer was nice and cold. Also the Tavern was raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation. The Berry Spring Tavern is the BEST. They are all so friendly, helpful and give back to the community. I even had my head shaved for their fundraiser while I was there!! Berry Springs Tavern is a "must place to visit". Make sure you check out their new additions soon to arrive (a crocodile and 2 emu's) .
I'd give 10 stars if possible! All 12 of us plus the kids loved all the meals, which were huge and cooked perfectly �. The staff were amazing and very friendly.

Had the Sunday roast, followed by homemade chocolate brownie. This place does not disappoint from country pub food. Large servings, reasonable prices and great taste. So good we came back the next day for lunch again! Lovely staff and restaurant setting too.
Stopped for a cold drink was happy they had Bulmers on tap.

A great find! Stopped for a pub lunch while travelling to Litchfield National Park and enjoyed a break for the family. Kids are well catered for, with shaded playground, colouring and indoor toys too. The local fish on the menu is delicious, we recommend trying it for yourself. Easy parking, clean establishment, spacious bar and restaurant with plenty of tables for indoor or outdoor dining. Staff are prompt and friendly.
I got the Laksa Schnitzel which is just a regular one with Laksa butter and an Asian-style salad. It was pretty good, especially if you want to try something different.
The vibes outside are good as there is usually a singer or band.
Would recommend stopping here for a feed on your way to the city.

Actually - great strategic location. On your way to and from any of the usual touristy things to do, it is always worth a pitstop.
Has got an excellent range of drinks on offer as bottles, taps are not as well stocked but enough of the favourites to quench any thirst.
The food though - classics and pub favourites and some really unexpected twists, such as the laksha schnitty with laksha flavoured butter and batter. It is really good value for money and you will be filled up proper!

Would recommend the eggplant Parma and the fish. Salads are amazing as well!
Stopped in for lunch after a dip at the Berry Thermal Springs. This tavern is only 5 minutes down the road. Large indoor and outdoor seating area and large central bar inside. Good selection of typical pub meals and some daily specials. I enjoyed the steak sandwich which was very tasty. Service was friendly and it offers comfortable surroundings to enjoy a meal.
