This hidden gem in Berry is on par with the hatted restaurants we've eaten at in Sydney. Exceptional food, wine and service.

My wife and I had lunch here on the way to Culburra and it was a complete joy. We had the most enormous and creamy oysters and the anchovies for starters and both had the fish of the day, mahi mahi. Absolutely wonderful. The staff were a delight a day we felt it was very good value for money. Would heartily recommend it.

I was a solo diner at South on Albany and instantly felt welcome in the intimate setting. Sonia and John and their team delivered on fresh, balanced flavours and thoughtful wine pairings. The wine list offers a wide selection of local wines. I particularly enjoyed a glass of fiano with my entree. The atmosphere was inviting and I felt relaxed in the care and attention to detail that was provided in all aspects of my experience. I look forward to coming back when I’m in the area next with some company.

Exceptional weekly set menu with matched wines. The started was a great combination of seasonal vegetables with a beautiful romesco sauce. The fish of the day was Kingfish which was cooked to perfection with a crispy skin and a light and creamy sauce. The decadent chocolate mouse with flavourful passionfruit sorbet was the perfect way to finish the meal. I would absolutely recommend and go again.

What a delightful little restaurant! Amazing food and great service. We came for dinner and choose to have the matching wines which were paired perfectly with the dishes. The stand out dish was the lamb that melted in your mouth. 100% recommend this place if you're ever in the area. Edit 1: we went for a second time in 2 weeks. The menu was completely different and just as delicious!

Weekly menu changes. We had citrus cured salmon, confit duck and lime brulee. Best duck I've ever had. $80 per person. $40 matched drinks.

There's certainly a reason why this restaurant is so well received and reviewed. We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food was beautifully prepared and presented, staff service was exceptional and friendly. Thank you for such a wonderful evening guys!
