The food here is top notch and friendly staff make it a great place for lunch or early evening meal. Well worth a try if you have mot net experienced this place.

Mikado is a hidden gem, we love their food and have never had a bad experience. The sushi is always amazing and the fish is so fresh and clean tasting. We love the karai and agadashi tofu the best but could happily eat any of the other options. I have tried other sushi joints south of the river and have always been disappointed, Mikado is always fantastic. I really enjoy how friendly the staff are :)

This place is great. My favourite dishes are the teriyaki salmon and the vegetarian ramen. Good, tasty food that is well priced. Good menu options that suit all tastes. Very friendly staff.

Been going here for 11 years now! Salmon sashimi is always out of this world fresh! And the samosas are extraordinarily delicious. Agedashi tofu yummy as well. Cynthia the owner is a kind, sincere, attentive owner who remembers her clients and pays attention to detail. So fortunate to have it so close by. Well done guys!!

great localFresh Fish! I have been going here for over 10 years and the quality food you get for the takeaway price should be commended. For a fresh meal that is less than a Big Mac I love all the options. I see comments on here regarding the rice.. yet this is the only place I know of around the southern region that sell the proper (more expensive) japanese sushi rice which is also hand rolled on wood not like the commercial west field sushi shops.Classic local takeaway food unchanged for years.. one of the hidden gems left.

The dish to order here is undoubtably the ramen; Likely a favourite of noodle fanatics locally, it's probably the best ramen I've found in Perth so far.. Sashimi is also good quality & nice and fresh.

Fantastic fresh sushi. This is our regular (once or twice a week) takeaway, always fresh sushi/sashimi and made to order pretty quickly if it isn't in the cabinet (and given how busy it often is, nothing stays sitting in the cabinet for very long).

PS The samosas are pretty hard to resist as an impulse buy when they are sitting and waiting for you next to the till.

They didn't have enough prawns for my salad and I wasn't feeling like sashimi when they tried to rectify it, so they just charged me for the summer salad and apologised profusely and gave me an agedashi on the house. Wicked customer service man, I will definitely come back!!
