Great little find in Black Rock. Great food, lovely atmosphere at lunch, helpful staff/owners.
My husband and I ordered takeaway and it was delicious!! The batter on the entree calamari was light and crispy, and the massaman and chilli basil were spot on. Looking forward to sampling more of the menu in the future.
Our go to local Thai place, usually order take away - most of the time delivery is very fast and food is good, last time the pad Thai was not as good as it usually is, banana fritter was small but nice, the satay skewers are a family favourite.
Lovely little cafe with fantastic authentic Thai food and genuinely warm service.
Having lived in Bangkok for eight years, returning to Bayside was a bit of a culinary disappointment despite the quality of decoration of most restaurants.
Everyday Sunday has it just right ... authentic Thai food with right herbs and spices in a modern atmosphere. No pictures of temples, Kline’s or elephants, nice as those might be.
Have eaten here 6-10 times and highly recommend it.
Eating in is better than delivery. As can adjust/request spices to own taste.
Undoubtedly the best Thai food in Bayside. Sweet and friendly staff and a menu that covers all the favourites. Serves are generous and the prices are very reasonable. My only criticism would be the acoustics. On a busy Friday night with a few group tables seated it was nearly impossible to hear over the noise. They could do with some soft furnishings or sound absorbing decor. I’ll go back on a quieter night or get takeaway.
Love this place! Have visited twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is fantastic and I will definitely be returning. Plenty of vegetarian options too!
I have no idea why the 2.9 rating. This place is great ! Their sticky rice is sensational and the service brilliant. Locals try it you won’t be disappointed !
I was getting all twitchy about the lack of vegetarian options on the menu but they went out of their way to make specialised dishes for me, even going to the extent of checking about eggs. Very sweet!
I'm remaining twitchy about forgetting my phone and having no out of focus photos to display.
Fantastic food are two words that describe this place to a tee. Ate in last night after a couple of takeaways and it certainly met and exceeded expectations. The roti and satay sauce was divine and then the lamb massaman curry ! The lamb just melted and asked for the sauce to cranked up a couple of notches on the chilli scale and it was amazing.
Fantastic local food.
This place is insane! The Thai food was so good I that I literally wanted to sit there for hours just going through the whole menu. The menu has everything from pad Thai to modern curries. the interior is modern, trendy and minimal but it suits the vibe perfectly. We ordered the tofu and crispy veggie salad, vegetarian spring rolls, roti with peanut sauce and the pineapple fried rice. And everything was outstandingly punchy and tasty. Everything had the combination of sweet, sour and salty and it was to die for!! Here’s a breakdown of the dishes;
Spring rolls =
very tasty and you could tell they were homemade ! Heaps of yummy red cabbage and carrot in there and very nice crunch. The sweet and sour sauce was lovely too.
Crispy veggie and tofu salad =
Very punchy and tasty. The crispy mixture of veggies and tofu were cooked to perfection ( the veggies were beautifully light and had a good variety) but the only downside was that the salad was drenched in the sweet and sour dressing, which made the veggies soggy and it made the salad overpowering and limp.
Pineapple fried rice =
Huge serving but very yummy! Definitely get your moneys worth. The rice was cooked perfectly and the blend of spices worked wonderfully with the pineapple. I would recommend this to share between a group of people because one huge plate of this would get a little boring. Very yummy though.
Roti bread with peanut sauce =
Best roti I have ever had!! The roti was amazingly flaky and thick, just as I like it. The peanut sauce was balanced and decadently rich with peanut flavour. Very, very good roti. A must have.
All in all Everyday Sunday was a real hit!! This place is still up and coming but I know for sure it will sky rocket soon. I would recommend this place for a group of people who would be willing to share a bit of everything because you ultimately want to try a bit of everything at this place. Very great Thai and I will definitely come back to try something else on the menu (pad Thai and mango sticky rice please)!!!!
Best Thai food I have had in a long time. I used to live in Thailand so it’s not easy to find traditional Thai food but this place is one of those places. Try the red duck curry or the soft shell crab.
We went spontaneous for a quick dinner. Omg, the stir fry satay was to die for. We got so inspired, I’ll make them at ourselves.
Was glad to know they are open on a Monday. The satay chicken skewers, chicken pad Thai and the satay prawn stir fry was beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the green tea was not hot enough. It was only lukewarm and cooled whilst you were holding the mug. Yea it’s only meant to be heated to 80 degrees but the pot wasn’t even hot to the touch nor any steam coming off the tea.
Quick service and pretty good food. Loved the prawn salad and veg spring roll
The food at Everyday Sunday is always spectacular, prawn crackers and peanut sauce the best, eaten here lots of times and never fails to impress. Added bonus really well priced 10/10
Fantastic authentic no nonsense Thai food with pleasant service. I will definitely be coming back.
My Grannie took me here once 2 years ago now and my family and I get take away from here at least twice a month now. Best Thai ever. We always get the green chicken curry and the asian greens is a must! 😍 10/10 have gotten so many of my friends onto this place as well :)
Delicious food, good service, reasonably priced..
