Was craving Bao today so called in a takeaway order for the Bao Bao Bao lunch from Gardenia Cafe. A triple Bao take away box which came with a pulled pork, marinated chicken and soft shell crab Bao... each a different flavour profile and juicy with a soft Bao bun. I also grabbed a skinny latte which was an enjoyable drink. Would definitely have again.
Nice little neighbourhood cafe right outside Blackburn station. It’s a small place so perhaps get here early if you want to come on a weekend. Was fairly quiet when we came which was a weekday morning, with us being the only customers at that time. I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered a small item - the mushroom crepe, and my friend opted for their chilli scrambled eggs croissant with added salmon. My crepe was really nice, delicious and light, and I also really enjoyed the coffee. On the other hand my friend wasn’t too happy with her food as it was a little bland and not the kind of flavour she was expecting. I guess everyone has their own preferences, I didn’t try hers so I can’t comment. It was great to get 20% off with the Gold membership and I actually think it’s seriously worth going back. Maybe I will try their burger next time!

Quick service despite cafe being full on a busy weekend. It is quite small on the inside but staff were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our meal with our 2yo.
Bit salty but Love the crab burger. Not baby friendly (tight seating arrangment, no bathroom). Nevertheless, will definitely return.
Great little cafe tucked away on the side street. The food selection is great with a range of varying portions from small to large breakfasts and lunch menu. It tastes fresh and of good quality. The St Ali coffee is also great 👍 Can’t complain!
Veg sobs noodles was awesome! Must try. Had the matcha ice tea and salmon crepe and prawn Panko Benedict. Food presented well and friendly staff. Massive brunch, took a while to get but worth it.
Great little asian inspired cafe, went for the bao buns which were very good and a chicken rice burger. 2 compressed discs of jasmine rice made up the bun and in between was a great katsu chicken with a beautiful mayonnaise. Very interesting dish and I loved it.
The salmon crepe was also quite good, coffee was ok, needs to be hotter but this place is a definite return visit destination.

We had Soba Noodles, wife said it was very fresh and light. Presentation was authentically japanese.
My son had the Ramly burger. I thought the patty looked very thick but after i convinced my son to give me a bite, I knew why he was reluctant to give me any. It was very tender and tasty.
I had the soft shell crab burger. Came with a fresh salad and sweet potato fries. Packed with flavor and perfect for lunch for a biggish guy like myself.
Also had a matcha latte and a giant cookie. Their service was very friendly and accommodating.
