The garlic bread is awesome!! Yum!!!
Delicious pizza and pasta. Great coffee and a friendly local place. Will definitely return.
Good for a family dinner or dinner with friends.
We order pizzas from here a lot and have never been disappointed. The owner always uses great quality ingredients and am never disappointed. The pizzas are reasonable priced for what you order abd the owner has always been friendly with us. The restaurant has a very kitsch feel about it, with warm wooden colours and textures. It's a family run restaurant and it tastes like home cooked food. Very pleased and will definitely be returning
Absolutely love this pizzeria! Great value for money and as close to classic New York woodfire pizza as you can get. The bases aren't too thick, but definitely not too thin either. All the ingredients were fresh and tasted delicious, especially the lamb sausage on the meat lovers! The owner says the sausage is made in-house, he also says it is low fat so that's a bonus, but hard to believe because it tastes so good!
It was quite the experience meeting the owner and his family. Mo (the owner) is a real character and I was surprised to find out that not only is he an artist in the kitchen but also a fine craftsman; he designed, renovated and decorated the whole place himself. The atmosphere/decor is warm, inviting and quite unique; from the beautiful timber to the tile mosaics overhanging the mirrors on the walls. Most notable (besides the mouth-watering food) is the centrepiece wood fire oven, which has been made to look like Mt Vesuvius, perfectly placed for an Italian restaurant!
It's BYO and they have a pool table as well, so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg if you want to invite some friends and make a night of it, though I was told we should book in advance if we wished to do so.
You can't go wrong here in my opinion. I can confidently recommend Three Angels to any and all connoisseurs of Italian cuisine. I'd also recommend it to couples seeking a romantic setting for a warm evening of pizza/pasta, beer/wine, maybe even a game of pool or two, all at a very reasonable price.
Love it! An eccentric and very warm place to have a bite. The pizzas were mental, and I believe that there will soon be a billiard/bar at the back. Bring it on - I'll be back.
The pizza here is fantastic. Try the meat Ziti its beaitiful. Soo many average pizza places around blackburn and this is definitely worth a go.
Three Angels Woodfire Pizza restaurant is in a shopping strip in Laburnum in Melbourne's east. It is outside a train station. RNIS was invited by Luca from the Couch but they had to pay $20. The place is very homely and reminds me a little bit of Lentils. They don't do alcohol as such but you are welcome to bring your own.
I was sad to see negative reviews about our local pizza shop. We have never encountered rudeness and their pizzas are amazing. We also often get freebies thrown in like baklava and garlic bread. 3 Angels has been closed over Christmas and after trying most other pizza places in the area, I can honestly say this is the best. I encourage you to give this place a try. They also do BYO wine which is handy.
A taste sensation! This could be the best food on offer in the eastern suburbs. Even picky eaters in our group thought it was excellent. Lovely atmosphere, great service. The Owner/chef even offered to make a special big pizza for the kids because it was cheaper than 2 from the kids menu. BYO with a great bottle shop next door. Try the prosciutto ziti - I'll be headed back for some soon!
Like eating at a friends house. The menu has gluten free, veg options. The food is really hot and great for sharing. The wood fire pizzas are great, especially the salmon. Affordable and good for families. I continue to enjoy this restaurant.
I just moved into the area and I gave 3 angels a go. I have found our local pizza night place. Really awesome pizzas. Thin base, perfect dough to topping to cheese ratio. Lovely hint of smoke on the base. And very reasonably priced. Really amazing thanks guys.
Quality ingredients on a thin crisp base cooked in a genuine woodfired oven at a reasonable prize. Does not get much better. Shame he is having to shut down and go back home after a hard 18 months. My family who have grown up on his pizzas will miss him.
Very delicious meat lovers pizza with lots of ambience
I love this place to eat firewood traditional pizza, and Mohamed Is a nice friendly guy, Yes I would visit again.
Amazing wood fire pizzas.. that are so filling with real toppings (Amazing ham, salami and fresh veg).. The owners themselves are nothing but welcoming and the shop atmosphere is very comfortable and cosy. Def reccomend!! 100% thanks :)
If you are after a shitty cheap Australian cheeseburger pizza then don't go here - but if you are after a meal made with love, in a lovely environment then you won't be disappointed. If you know what's good for you then you'll put this place on your bucket list. Nothing else compares!
This is hidden gem, really tasty... crispy thin base.. frrrresh ingredients... smoky baked in a wood fried oven... this is Pizza from heaven....
PS:The owner is a real character, not many of these weirdly amazing people and places around
