Even though this place is located in the food court of Bondi’s Westfield, the service of the gentlemen at the counter was beyond my expectations ! He was friendly and super lively. The food here to me doesn’t taste like authentic street food but the flavours of the food are delicious! The lamb shish was cooked to perfection, soft and juicy. The falafel was super crunchy on the outside bursting with flavour. They also have such a wide variety of salads I highly recommend !!
I’ve always liked the Bondi Westfield mall. It’s got a good vibe, good shops and beautiful people. We occasionally end up here for a movie, and if we have time, a meal before the movie. There’s a lot to choose from at the food court, but I have to admit I often end up at Sabbaba, part of a chain (I think I’ve eaten at them all).
Pleasantly surprised- visited Sabbaba randomly and ordered a mixed lamb shish and chicken bowl. The lamb was a bit disappointing- very dry and fatty, however, the chicken shish was lovely. A decent take away meal.
My friend got a salad bowl. He felt very satisfied at the end of the meal. There were samples to try and he reckons that the falafel was tasty, even the small one. My other friend thought the salad was fresh. They both liked the dip. The service was good too. It didn't look that great to me but i didn't try their stuff. They want meto give it a 5 so that's what I'm doing.
It has been renovated to include more seating options. Very beautifully decorated. Friendly service. Budget friendly. Falafels pita bread is the best! It's full of salad and sauce. The vine leaves are a bit too sour for me.
I really like this place for a quick fresh lunch time meal. Make sure to ask if there's additional charges when ordering whole meal pita bread
Best falafels in Sydney. That's a statement. Tried many places, even lebanes restaurants can't beat Sabbaba's one. They're pita bread with falafel and salad is heaven. Best take away lunch spot in Bondi Junction.

Last experience, eating in store was everything but satisfying, pita bowl was bland and falafel over cooked. What is going on sabbaba? :(
I really like Sabbaba. I have had two loyalty cards stamped out. That’s two times ten, twenty times I been to Sabbaba. Twenty times I’ve had either a pita or a falafel bowl. Truth be told, they’re not consistent, sometimes they give me too much red cabbage or the hummus isn’t spread out evenly in the pita and it clumps in one spot. But it’s usually satisfying and fresh and most importantly, healthy.
Absolutely top notch simplicity. Fresh as a daisy ingredients make this place a fabulous casual hangout.
I opted for the Moroccan fish and it was a real treat. Melt in your mouth fish and delicate spices gave it a subtle kick.lots of options to choose from covering all sorts of styles and veggies.
Get in, it's worth it at a good price!
