Premium location directly opposite Bondi Beach at the North Bondi end. We missed the stunning view as it was after dark dinner time. The restaurant itself was homey & cosy inside, lots of artwork on the wall. The menu is written in chalk on a blackboard & so was the wine list. The menu consisted of 4 entrees, 4 mains & 4 desserts. Given there were a 5 of us, we pretty much ordered all of the mains & entrees. We found most of the food enjoyable in general, I liked my celeriac soup with scallops, and the roast chook main was also another hit. My corned beef main was unusual, probably not the tastiest cut of beef for a main dish, and hard to get through. Service was mostly ok, there was a slight overcharge with weekend surcharge for 6 people instead of 5. Overall still a nice night out.
Absolutely impeccable.. I have read the reviews and some people have said it’s over priced - whatever .. the whole farm to table concept vouches for that .. fresh, seasonal produce delivered from the farm to your table .. what else could you ask for :. And to
Top it off the staff were excellent and very helpful !

There’s a reason why this small, humble Campbell Parade eating house is dearly-loved by locals (and was named Australia’s 67th best restaurant in 2017 – no biggie). It has everything: a ripper blackboard menu, ocean views, a casual vibe and a good value five-course chef’s menu.
Without a doubt Sean's Panorama is one of my favourite restaurants. It's like dining at your best friend's house, who also happens to be an insanely good cook. Everything in the menu is seasonal and fresh and the menu is inventive and always satisfying. This is a place where we go to with friends and family and to celebrate because it feels special.
Very cool place that sources most of it's food from sustainable locations (including Sean's farm, where possible). The waitress was very knowledgable about the menu. They have 4 different entrees and 4 different mains each night.
We had a gnocchi to start and then lamb 3 ways & yellowfin as mains. All of the food was great--just my one bone-in piece of lamb was a little tough and bland compared to the rest of the meal. Definitely recommend coming in for a nice dinner with a great view of the beach.
Sean's is one of Bondi's - indeed one of Sydney's - most enduring and beloved restaurants. That it still manages to exude a kind of shabby beach-house chic, in defiant contrast to its flashier neighbours like North Bondi Fish and Icebergs, goes a long way to explaining its appeal. I've been coming here on and off for the past 15 years, and it pains me to admit that some of the shine is wearing off. In its heyday Sean's served up some of the most reliably tasty, well balanced food in Sydney. You'll still get a good feed here, just minus some of the highs you might recall from Sean Moran's younger, perfectionist years when he assiduously manned the pans himself every service.
Sean's was never a cheap place to eat. But $45 a main course feels harder to stomach now that the food is merely good, rather than revelatory. Sydney dining has changed considerably since Sean's first opened. Where once this homely beachside bistro had a monopoly on contemporary produce-driven fare, today it's competing with the likes of Ester, Automata, Nomad, Chiswick, Yellow and Monopole. And as a value-for-money proposition, they're beating Sean's hands down.
Then again, none of those places has Sean's view. Nor the comforting, matchless sense of history that comes from dining in a Sydney institution.
This has for a long time been my favourite restaurant in Bondi, it's basically an institution for those in the know.
Understated with a simple almost rustic setting, all of the emphasis is on the food and service. I also love that its BYO, as well as licensed.
The menu is focused on seasonal foods. My go to dish is the duck liver pate followed by the duck confit when its on the menu. I have no issue scoring Sean's a 5 as I've always had great experiences there. Expect to spend at least $100 per person if you are indulgent.
Love love love Sean's Panorama. Quality food and wine with glimpses of Bondi Beach, what more could you want. The food is top notch although the restaurant is a tight squeeze, but it truly didn't bother me. The dessert here is phenomenal
I had a good dinner at Sean's. Absolutely delicious food and cozy ambience. The tables are set a bit tight and people had loud laughings. Not cheap but worth the money.
Perfect date venue. Location is great. Food is perfectly executed, interesting menu. Prices make it a special occasion restaurant, but wow is it special!
The menu here changes daily and each meal uses mostly organic, fresh, seasonal produce sourced from Sean’s own farm or from other local producers. I have been a couple of times now and always impressed with the food, incredible service and of course the amazing views of Bondi from the north end.
Sean Moran, head chef and owner of Sean's Panaroma is part of a grassroots food movement that is quickly gaining pace. An increasing number of Aussie chefs have pledged their support for non-GM food as a result of environmental destruction and liability issues that companies like Bayer and Monsanto have left in their wake. The man is a rarity. Unlike most chefs, Sean and his partner designed the restaurant with a closed loop system in mind. For fifteen years now, kitchen scraps have been composted and returned to their property to grow fruit and veg for the restaurant. Very cool, very cool indeed. My most recent visit was for a work function, a BK tradition of sorts. Fortunately our visit to Sean's Panaroma was for both business and pleasure. Oh there were definitely unbridled sounds of pleasure. Between you and I, Sean's liver parfait is one of the most rich and irresistible morsels that may cross your palate in your life. Don't go past the oysters either. Seafood generally seems to b

Wow, this place is so good I considered writing a bad review to improve the chances of a table being free the next time I go.
Waiting staff who know what they are talking about, exceptional food, none of the pretentious BS you get from other places of this standard. It is a little bit pricey but the standard of meal is there and its easily worth it.
Will definitely be back.
Great but expensive food.. Farmer provides foodies with changing menu full of the freshest, sustainable ingredients. Low-key venue with great views and service. The food is always creative and done well, but prepare to pay a pretty penny.
North Bondi's Finest. Decor: Simple, rustic, understated with views of the beach (across the road). Building work taking place across the road in front of the beach
Food: Fantastic and innovative daily changing menu based on organic produce sourced from their own farm. Short menu with approx 4 entree and 4 mains to choose from
Service: Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable
Suitable: Adults. Difficult for kids due to limited menu
Value for money: Entrees $28+, Mains $31+. BYO and licensed. Degustation menu also available
Would we go back? Yes
We had dinner for the first time at Sean's for my partners birthday. The food an service where excellent really couldn't fault a single thing. Would definetley recommend Sean's.
Perfection. If there was one restaraunt I could move from Sydney to Perth, it would be Sean's. Could not find fault with any aspect of our lunch. Service is great, wine list is well priced and matched with menu. Food is devine simplicity at its best. The bread was absolutele yummyness with the house churned butter. Marron was beautifully cooked with iceberg and dill mayo perfect and I don't even like dill!, we shared the duck with grape and rocket. Omg I need to know how to make that jus. Can't wait for our next Sydney holiday so I can come back to Sean's
Cant fault this place. The food was superb, the service was excellent the atmosphere is great and the location is perfect. Our waitress, Mel went above & beyond. They have a good local wine list aswel
Sunny Sunday Sensation!. If you're after a quintessential Sydney experience it doesn't get much better than a sunny Sunday afternoon dining al fresco overlooking Bondi Beach. The constant stream of achingly beautiful bodies along with a healthy dose the rest is almost too distracting. Thankfully the food is wonderfully good and is soon eliciting as many excited gasps and squeals as the human scenery. Very dark sunglasses and a seat facing the beach is the best way to enjoy the Sean's Panaroma experience.
Intimate beachside eatery.... Sean's is a great small restaurant in Bondi and along with Icebergs really the best two restaurants in Bondi. In summer it get's very busy, and all through the year quite hard to get a table at late notice on Friday or Saturday. quite exxy, at about $35 for most mains. I have eaten here about 5 times and always find the food good, although my GF is a vego and finds the options somewhat limiting.
The menu is a bit unusual as all options are written on the wall, and not overly clear. So I find I am always asking the waiter three times what all the options are. And inevitably my GF has one option that doesn't have meat in it.
Really nice intimate vibe, although sometimes I have found it too cosy, and you feel like you are almost sitting on top of each other, as the dining room is so small. On a nice night you can sit outside, although the traffic can get annoying.
In summary, I think really nice Intimate Bondi restaurant, and I have always found the food to be fantastic. But I wouldn't suggest to anyone who has dietary restrictions, as the menu is somewhat limited. Enjoy...
You won't find any fancy, deconstructed gastro desserts or levitating amuse accompanied by headphones and mini spritz bottles here. this restaurant is all about beautiful honest food and great flavours.
Have champagne at icebergs then walk along the beach and eat at seans-great mod oz food,a bit cramped but good atmosphere
Fantastic food! Not the usual 'pea on a plate' nouvelle cuisine. Great choices and friendly service. Pricey but worth it!!
What a great little place this is! A menu that's easy to read without using ridiculous words - friendly knowledgable staff - fantastic food and amazing views. Wholeheartedly recommend!
LOVE IT. Wow you guys do great, simple food... cant wait to come back
