Probably the most uncomfortable stools and tables Ive ever sat at. Reschs on tap made it all worth it. Worst phone reception aswell.

However, the food itโs quite average, the prices do not match the quality of the food. I went on a Friday night, we ordered two sirloin steaks, and the meat was hard and tasteless
First time at the Nelson and it didn't disappoint. The food was fantastic, serving sizes are large. The fire kept the whole place toasty.
Beautiful old renovated pub but the best thing was seeing my mate after a long time. I would've stayed there for ages if it wasn't for parking! ๐ps the O'Brien was Niiice ๐ go you Irish good thing ๐

This is one of the few original old pubs left in Sydney, and its not been allowed to fade. It has an excellent bistro, very comfortable lounge and friendly service. Footy on the big screen in one corner, and families and friends are very welcome. This is my 'local'...
Great bistro, friendly staff and a great family seating area with bonus kids room.
