The Nelson has it all, a delicious menu with great prices, great staff and a very country atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit.
Awesome vibe. Always a good time to be had at the Nelson. Something for everyone throughout the pub and on their extensive tasty menu. Staff are extremely friendly and appear happy to be at work which adds to the experience
It might not look much inside but once we were inside the main dining room
We were so surprised at how busy the place was and how kid friendly it was. Our son loved the kids room where they gave toys and a tv playing children's movies.
The main dining room was filled with families and the fireplace created a nice ambience. We all enjoyed our food and managed to demolish it all. I tried their grilled lamb cutlets, my brother had their beef burger and my husband and SIL had their chicken Parma which I tried and thought it was tasty. My son had their spag bolognese but instead of ordering from the kids menu, we got a main size which was massive but they were happy to give us a takeaway container so that we can pack some of it away.
Limited dessert menu but I'll definitely back!
Good pub food, value for money, vegetarian options, tasty fish options, meat for the meat lovers, pleasant service, wine list not big however stylish selection. A great pub meal in Bondi Junction.
This place is a man cave on the weekends but if you're after a good quality pub meal, the nelson is the place for you. They do great steaks and really good sausage rolls.
I have dined at the Nelson a heap of times. If you are after tasty and affordable pub food then this is the place to be. We have rarely been disappointed here. The burgers are great! This place goes under the radar, it's awesome!
This our go to place for after work drinks and a feed. I've tried a few things from the menu and each has been tasty, filling and all for a good price. Do yourself a favour and hit this place up, you won't be disappointed with the food.

Probably the most uncomfortable stools and tables Ive ever sat at. Reschs on tap made it all worth it. Worst phone reception aswell.
First time at the Nelson and it didn't disappoint. The food was fantastic, serving sizes are large. The fire kept the whole place toasty.
Beautiful old renovated pub but the best thing was seeing my mate after a long time. I would've stayed there for ages if it wasn't for parking! 😕ps the O'Brien was Niiice 😃 go you Irish good thing 😊
Good quality pub food and the mains are quite large. The Nelson is good for groups of around 10 to 12 people at the big tables. Sometimes when it is crowded it can become very noisy making it difficult to hear any conversations, however weigh that up with the quality of the food and you can understand why we keep going back.
This is one of the few original old pubs left in Sydney, and its not been allowed to fade. It has an excellent bistro, very comfortable lounge and friendly service. Footy on the big screen in one corner, and families and friends are very welcome. This is my 'local'...
