Went for lunch with obe of my girlfriends and it was very nice. Food was nice and warm and really tasty :) worth the price and the place is very confy. Happy with the meal :)
Laurie's Vegetarian is an inviting restaurant/take away shop selling vegan and vegetarian food on Bondi road. They sell comfort foods such as Burmese noodles, lasagne, roast veggies, desserts and lentil hotpot. There are limited seats within the restaurant so it can get crowded if you arrive during a busy time but otherwise most people order the food to go. In terms of food, I ordered the lasagne (which I thought was vegan, since nowadays almost anything can be made vegan) which had cheese on top, although it was to die for, the unclear vegan/vegetarian labeling of the dish names caused confusion. I also got the roast veggies which was insanely good, I don't know how they do it, I wish I could get the recipe and make it at home! All in all, I'll be back to try the vegan chocolate cake, burmese noodles, the korma, basically all the vegan things on offer. This place is definitely one of my favourites now.
I can't go past the Chickpea Korma. It's the best. The desserts are great as well. Apple and banana crumble - awesome. I mainly eat the vegan dishes, but the Lasagna is so comforting and delicious - it's perfect if you don't mind eating dairy. I always tell people about Laurie's Vegetarian and tell them to go. And cheap. Lot's of food, almost too much, for a super-reasonable price. I really love this place.

Delicious!. I had the tempeh burger and wow was it nice. Absolutely delicious! The BIG downer about this place was the service. The chick that served me could've at least cracked a fake smile or at least pretended to sound happy. Is it just me or do a lot of vegetarians seem cranky/rude?? Maybe eat some meat in a while... haha
Burgers. The tofu burger with the satay is delicious. A large serve on a wholemeal bun! Kept me full from 4:00pm nwards - I didn't eat dinner! So tasty and good value.
Delicious!. Try the Soy Burger with chilli and guacamole on a wholemeal roll- its amazing.
Really cute place, great service and heaps of vegan choices. Empanadas was delicious. The apple banana crumble was just a bit too dry, maybe it needs a caramel sauce or something.

Best food In Bondi, I travel regularly into Bondi mainly to eat here! Love the lasagna and roasted vegies. Generous servings and great value

Vegan food in huge portions. What's not to love? It was so good. Friendly staff. 5 stars for sure. Check out these burgers!
Amazing. I had the large bowl filled with sooooo many delicious things and it was delicious. I couldn't finish it! Quite cheap. Highly recommend
Laurie's has some great tasting fast food style options on the menu, many of which are vegan, not just vegetarian. The service was great, helpful and fast. The food was clearly hand made by people who believe that a vegetarian life shouldn't come at the cost of flavour, and we could sit in to eat at one of the tables as well as take food to go. Definitely worth trying, especially if you're vegetarian-curious.
