Simply put fantastic sourdough breads. The wine lees and fruit loaf were delicious and the pain au chocolat were the best we have had this south of France!
I'm pretty discerning when it comes to food of the bread variety. It's never been a priority on my shopping list... until now! The Lost Loaf has the most beautiful selection of breads and pastries... to die for! xx

It's a relatively small place but everything you find here it's made in the artisan way. Everything look so fresh and delicious. They have best best croissants I've ever eaten in Adelaide, you an really feel the butter on them. My partner is French and she agrees is the best in Adelaide. I also tried the Churros cake, but it's not great, it's a bit dry to my taste. However this a place to go. I will come back soon again
My mission in life it to find the best artisan bakeries in Australia and The Lost Loaf is one of them. For everyone who have had French pastries in France you probably rave about how good it was and flaky the croissants were, The Lost Loaf has nailed it. Now I have lost the count of how many times I have been here because I have never ever had anything below average, everything is perfect. The croissants, the almond croissants, creme brulee donunts, pistachio scrolls, the peanut cookies and the baguettes are absolutely amazing and leave you wanting to come back for more. It is amazing that this bakery is always consistent which is proved by the long lines they have and how quickly everything sells out before lunchtime or sometimes at 11am. Honestly if you want to try their stuff get in early and make sure you don't eat dinner the night before so you can eat your way through their pastries.
One of the best bakeries in Adelaide, I came here many times and every time I had the same great experience. I tried most of their products (donuts, sourdough bread, croissants, and tarts). Every thing is delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it. Their donut is the best in Adelaide in my opinion.
Very nice place you have to get there early there products sell out very quick nice food cakes bread fruit loafs croissants everything you can think off keep up with the good work
If there's a better bakery in Adelaide I certainly am not aware of it.
Aside from their wonderful bread, their wagyu beef rolls are amazing.
Absolutely worthy of all the hype. The croissants and other pastries are light, crispy, rich and delicious. Truly top notch.

Amazing quality bakery! I am so lucky to have them at my doorstep.
Their baguettes taste like being back in Europe and very reasonably priced. Their sweets are delicious and I always end up buying some (even when I try not to).
The FOH staff are super friendly, efficient and always have a big smile!
