I was lucky enough to win a free lunch at the Mill recently. Although we are locals, we have never actually eaten here. The building and decor is just stunning, and I am very envious of the rug collection! We had the Millers platter, with the croquettes and crispy pork skin being favourites. We also ordered the potatoes with preserved lemon, which were the crispest, most delicious roast potatoes I have ever tasted. Staff are welcoming, warm and down to earth. Some places would have put the pressure on us to buy more food, but staff did not do this at all. Overall it was a lovely, delicious, relaxing lunch. We can't wait to become regulars when the decks are completed Thanks again, Cheryl & Andrew Mudge.

We arrived for lunch on a Sunday, without a booking. The staff member who greeted us was extremely friendly and accommodating, setting up a new table and chairs just for us, even though they were booked out. We ordered the vegetarian platter which was hands down the best veg platter we have had in Adelaide (we've had a few!) In fact, it was some of the best vegetarian food we've experienced - on par with the Botanic Restaurant. The house-made pumpkin bread was the highlight, but each element was very tasty and definitely not your "traditional" vegetarian cuisine. Cannot fault our experience- the food, the wine, the service and ambiance was exceptional. Will definitely be back.
We recently had lunch at Bridgewater Mill for my youngest son’s birthday. My other son has multiple severe allergies and the Chefs were fantastic at adapting his meals where necessary to suit his requirements. We had the feed me menu and honestly had so much food we couldn’t eat it all (I haven’t included photos of all dishes as I was too excited to eat and forgot to take a couple). The food was just delicious and the venue is stunning. We sat outside on a lovely autumn day and took In the stunning scenery. The service was fantastic and we couldn’t fault the wait staff. Definitely recommend!
Wonderful experience. My taste buds were dancing as there were celebrating the new taste and combination of flavours that I have not thought of. Loved it!
We had a fantastic Sunday celebrating a friend’s birthday over lunch. When we were first seated, the owner came over to greet us and pass on his best regards. The service was attentive and friendly with great recommendations for food and accompanying wine. Lovely lunch in a warm and cosy sunroom attached to the main building
Great place for meals with impressive internal and external ambience. Service was excellent and staff were accommodating with a high chair. Would go again the next time we’re in Mt Barker!
The ultimate Adelaide Hills restaurant experience! A beautiful heritage venue with great ambience and attention to detail.
Outstanding rustic food, presentation and service. The chef bringing out our food was also a lovely touch.
Whats a beautiful spot. The water wheel is stunning.
We had some drinks outside and it was soo relaxing and beautiful. The staff were suoer friendly.
We had a a nose around and the venue is stunning, would make a extraordinary wedding venue.
We have been to The Mill quite a bit but none of our visits was as good as the last one: OUR WEDDING!!
We are absolutely delighted with how the whole day went.
Jo & Duncan were just amazing to have nearby for any questions or concerns (or if you needed a glass of bubbles) and the food was wonderful.
All of our guests raved about the beautiful venue, food, drinks and atmosphere.
We will be regulars, I'm sure, for years to come!
This is an absolutely wonderful restaurant in the Old mill building, service is fantastic and the food is spectacular. Highly recommended
