Wow! What a gem! The food is absolutely amazing and the presentation is spot on! Had the popcorn prawns( can’t wait to have them again) kingfish perfectly cooked with a lovely salad the beef rib SO good and the fish tsrtare. All above expections. Will definitely be back.... and the service was like you were at friends for dinner, welcoming and fun.
Ro brighton is a new modern Japanese restaurant in Brighton. Definitely worth checking out the place. The food is incredible and the customer service is superb. If you are visiting anytime soon, their RFC is highly recommended. This place is officially in my favourite restaurant list.
Ro is our little gem in Brighton that we adore. The most fantastic Japanese food and friendliest, most attentive staff. We are consistently thrilled with the outstanding service, Sandy is phenomenal and deserves all the praise in the world.
Friendly staff, delicious dish. just amazing
Thumbs up! Wanna visit again with my friends this weekend
Beautiful place with super friendly and fun front staff. It has open kitchen so u don’t have to worry about hygiene 😂
They use real charcoal for grill menus and u can actually taste and smell beautiful charcoal grilled smell from every grill dishes.
Entrees were great as well, popcorn prawns were crispy outside juice inside and dressing on top is also amazing.
Their plating style is quite simple but absolutely appetising. Personally I prefer this keeping it simple styles so I can see what’s on our dishes.
They also have gluten free options for many dishes and vegan options for bao. Vegetarian friendly also so u can bring almost any type of friends to this restaurant 😂
Drinks in here are in reasonable prices and really good as well. They serve drinks in very clean and cold glasses which are good.
The thing I loved most of this place is they serve foods right on time even tho they don’t have many staffs to check, cold dishes served as cold, hot dishes served as hot not room temp.
I highly recommend this restaurant cos u are never gonna taste anything similar in any other places like here.
They have simple but various menus with Japanese touch. Thank u!
You will not be disappointed! Very comfy Japanese/Korean cuisine. Went there on Valentines and owner Sandy recommended us the Hiramasa. That dish hands down was a delight!
Wow! The aesthetics doesn’t match the service and even more so the food. Superstar food with a touch of excellent service. The floor staff were there when they needed to be and not as the shouldn’t be. The chicken and pork ribs were rockstar, as to the prawns. 100% return visit in the chamber. Do it, do it now......
Wonderful meal and great service from Sandy. Food is lovely and drinks are simply great. Highly recommend to friend catch up or a quick lunch.
Poke bowls are yummy!!
Came here with a friend for a quick lunch. A pretty small establishment with very welcoming a lovely staff.
We both had a poke bowl which was delicious! Very authentic and a great place to have a midday bite to eat.
Thanks for the hospitality:)
Note that thefo0die.com rating is a 4.5 but in Zomato's rating system, it is closer to a 5.
Fo0die dined as a guest of Ro Brighton and as such, the rating does not give any consideration to customer service.
Located near a corner, we found parking on the side street (take care to look at the signs as one side has no limit whereas the other has a 2P limit Monday to Friday). Ro Brighton is a new Japanese charcoal grill meat venue which was only merely one month old when we dined.
New restaurant in a very competitive area. It's small and family run. The service is super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere warm. The signature dishes are robata style grilled meats and fish, using a charcoal grill. Their sashimi was incredibly fresh and presented beautifully. The tuna, in particular, was excellent. Our party enjoyed every dish and we are already planning a return. I particularly appreciate that they offer BYO wine and provide reasonable stemware. I just hope they can maintain the quality and they don't become too popular!!!
I love this new restaurant. It’s quite small, with an open kitchen, but that comes with super friendly and attentive waiting staff and chefs.
Their signature is robata style grilled meats,
which are so tasty, juicy, with a charcoal grill base. Their sashimi plate was super fresh and beautifully presented. Everything we tasted was good! It’s also licensed, and stocks a good wine and sake list. If you like Japanese cuisine and want to try something a bit different to others in the area, you won’t be disappointed.
