Actually meeting friends but was sitting in wrong cafe
While sitting there aline I was mesmerised by the gorgeous ambience of this place...
I left explaining to staff how I got it wrong and was actually meeting friends down the road...
The girls were gorgeous !!!
And said not first time it had happened !!! (Certainly making me feel less stupid)!!!

So I was early for a Doctor appointment and called in for Coffee but noticed the $10 Egg/bacon roll with small coffee. Cafe latte was good, so ordered a second. Egg Bacon in a brioche was excellent, soft running egg and lashings of bacon. Sitting outside on one of three two seat settings I notice a familiar face on the far table. After 10 minutes he stood up to go and pay inside. " Hey Darrel" I yelled out as he came out heading towards his bicycle. "I once watch you guys rehearse in house on the Pacific Highway, Lindfield ( Sydney) early 70's. Your drummer Alan had a girlfriend named Rita and I knew her sister. My mate Bobby was a mate of of Alan as well." Well his face dropped that's like over 45 years ago. We both lived on the North shore and now we both live in the Brighton area. Howzat.
Excellent coffee, helpful and friendly service and well prepared breakfast classics here. Go the big breakfast - generous and super tasty. I’m a regular here
"Corn fritters"
Hollaindaise sauce combined very well with the avocado and fritters. The dish was presented well. Service was good and had a nice atmosphere sitting in the courtyard. It needed more avocado so that there was enough to have with both fritters.
Such a beautiful looking cafe, with a large floor space and windows that create an awesome vibe for a cafe. The menu offers many options to satisfy your breakfast or lunch needs. One of the dishes that we chose was the "Poached Ocean Trout" with avocado purée, poached egg, buckwheat, quinoa, broccoli, kale and goji berries. Definitely a cafe to visit for an excellent meal, vibe and of course, coffee!
Went here in a group- there's a really nice seating area outdoors, at both the front and the back. There's also a take out window at the front. I had a spanokopita, which to be honest, I didn't love. It was $14, came with chutney for the pastry, and a side salad. My friends meals looked better- particularly the steak sandwich. The service was friendly, and they provide free sparkling water instead of your regular tap water, which was a nice touch.
Fantastic coffee and friendly atmosphere. Can't ask for more! Food is exceptional, especially the chipolatas - best cafe on Martin St by far!
Set up in what looks like a little house this is a very cozy little cafe. Service is really friendly and staff are smiling all the time. Fritters and juice made a nice lunch on a sunny day sitting outside.
Really friendly and attentive staff, and the food is delicious! Get the superfood salad (with a lovely generous side of haloumi which was in fat cubes not sliced which was different and great!) The chicken burger was juicy and the chips a win!
Ducked in for a quiet lunch. Service was very good, loved the way the mushrooms and spinach were just done on my vegetarian breakfast. Cosy atmosphere- perfect place to be on a rainy day.
What an amazing place!!! Sasha and Francis are such wonderful, hospitable hosts and the food is first class! Never once have we walked away from here disappointed. All the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome!!
