How have I not left a review on Facebook for these guys yet?
I cannot say enough great things about Rogue, the staff are amazing, always friendly and helpful, happy to have a joke, but also very professional.
It is the little things like, bringing out your food and not having to ask who had what, the attention to how full your water is, and the genuine interest in how your food is. Nothing is too much trouble. It is obvious the staff aren’t just there to earn a pay check, they legit believe in Dan and Rach’s vision for Rogue.
The food is easily the best I have had anywhere in the world, the menu is smaller than some places, however this goes to help ensure each meal is amazing, they don’t need a big menu, you can eat the same thing every time you go and not ever be sick of it. The combination of tastes and textures is truly an art form, if Rogue had been around in 1508, Pope Julius II would have asked them to throw the food at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, instead of getting Michelangelo to paint it. Is it cheap? No, but it is fantastic value, if you want cheap go to Maccas, if you want quality, go to Rogue.
The venue itself creates a laid back vibe, while still giving you a five star feeling. I believe a lot of restaurants purposely make their chairs uncomfortable so you do not stay any longer than you need to, but at Rogue the chairs are as comfy, as the food is mind blowing.
The wait time ca be a little long, because it is so popular, my advice is book ahead, you will then have no problem getting in and starting to enjoy the mouth-watering sensation that is Rogue’s food and drink.
In short, you should probably go there, the food is yummy, and the staff are wonderful.
So impressed with this gem! Friendly staff, cosy environment and the food (dessert specifically) was to die for - tasty and creative! I would definitely recommend for special occasions. We visited for our anniversary and were given some extra special love. We will soon be back :)
Worth the 45 min wait for breakfast Sunday morning. The staff were excellent and the option I chose catered to my dairy allergy and gluten intolerance. Never had such a tasty meal anywhere ever. My adult daughter said hers was amazing. Best to book but you can peruse the menu while you choose to wait. Service was quick once we were seated.
