Wonderfull food and atmosphere. Welcome back to Brisbane Sarah and Biagio ! New restaurant is lovely and the decor perfect. Love the wine barrels walls , reminds us of the winery we visited in Italy . We had pork belly and luiguine ai Frutti Di Mare , delicious. We shared cannoli for desert. Coffee was spot on . A biscotti would have been nice with it but the complementary focaccia when seated was the best ever. We’ll be definitely back .
I chose this restaurant based on the fact I wanted a menu that wasn't simply spaghetti and garlic bread for Italian and we were not disappointed
The service and food was amazing.
Spent time with owner discussing different menu items and wines
Was very satisfied and recommend this restaurant
Had a great experience with this restaurant when I went with my family. Staff were very friendly and attentive to us.
There was about 10 of us and the food came out quite quickly - all at the same time which was really nice so we could all eat together.
My family said all their food was very tasty especially the gnocchi which I quote were “like pillows”.
If you are vegan like me, they are more than happy to accomodate your meal by taking away ingredients etc. there are not many vegan options but definitely enough for you to be happy and full.
The overall experience was really lovely and the restaurant ambience was intimate and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this place to those who love Italian cuisine because the food here was delicious.
Only dropped in for a quick pre dinner drink and found the service to be so friendly and welcoming. We had little kids with us but they didn't seem to mind. They were more than happy to accommodate our very noisy kids. With our drinks they provided a complimentary garlic pizza which was so unexpected and lovely. I would definitely go back for dinner next time.
Popped in here for a cheeky drink before our dinner. The staff member was very attentive. He was excellent with the kids. He made sure everyone had their drinks. He also bought out complementary garlic pizzas.
My partner and I have dined at Casa Nostra over 5 times in the last 6 months, and the food and the service just keeps getting better and better. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
Everything aspect of the restaurant is 5 star. From the menu that caters for all diners, gluten free, vegetarian etc, to the family style service lead by the lovely host Sarah. The surprising thing is the price point. While most Brisbane Italian restaurants with this style of menu have a higher price point, Case Nostra have reasonable prices similar to family style trattoria's. With Casa, my partner and I can go out for a formal dinner off James Street, have 3 courses and a bottle of wine and the bill will come to a reasonable total.
I have recommended this restaurant to everyone I know, friends are now just as hooked on this place as we are!
Thankyou Casa Nostra team for a great Italian dining experience Friday night. My first time here for sit-down dinner and what a delight. Extensive menu, good service, nice Italian beer on-tap, very good wine menu and excellent Southern / Sicilian Italian food.
I had the Arancini for entrée, Linguini ai Frutti di Mare (pasta marinara) for main, and we shared Bruschetta al Pomodoro and a Casa pizza. With a bottle of Acquilani Sangiovese. 5 stars.
I’ll be back.
Wow! What a pleasure. The setting was relaxed and warm and every meal 5 star. The king fish was delicate and flavours danced in your mouth. Sicilian swordfish with cous cous and caponata, fresh and sweet and well balanced. The lemon pannacotta was creamy and citrusy and didnt want it to end... cant wait to return and try more. Pure delight and so well prices for the high standard of food delivered.
Absolutely beautiful, the meal as well as the service. We had the degustation menu, and loved every plate. Took me right back to my nonna's. The chef was also very accommodating; the menu changed the day we booked and one of the plates in particular I was really looking forward to. They made it happen, and I was able to have a dish that I've not had in over 20 years!
Thank to all for a wonderful experience.
I can't find any fault in all the food we had. From entree to dessert it was scrumptious. The staff are really helpful too. The pastas are awesome but you guys should try their wagyu steak. It's the bomb! Can't wait to go back for a feed.
My husband arranged for us to have a degustation dinner with accompanying wines as my birthday dinner.
A regular at Casa Nostra in Cairns he was excited to take me to the new Brisbane restaurant.
Chef owner Biaggio and his Front of house Manager wife Sarah supported by a heat team including their children run a warm and welcoming Italian restaurant in the heart of Fortitude Valley in M&A Lane.
Close enough to the city centre for an easy stroll or if you want to drive- plenty on onsite parking.
An inspired and creative menu of locally sourced fresh ingredients supported with specialty items imported from Italy.
The food is innovative, delicious and looks like art on a plate.
Service friendly but not intrusive- confident test respectful.
We absolutely loved our meal the wines and our evening and look forward to our next visit. Thank you!!! Grazie 😊
Probably one of the beter Italian restaurants ive come across in awhile. The service was attentive if somewhat over keen at the start then after dessert was set couldn't get the attention of anyone.... might need a meal check at this stage guys....
The entree kingfish fettuccine and prawn amazing! Wish it was offered as a main!! Main lobster agnolotti was very good. Dessert had a small hickup but was fixed the moment it was mentioned without hassle or incident by a woman i would guess is the owner. We spent just on $200, for 2 of us was excellent food amazing wine and service.
All in all i would happly visit this place regularly being a local and recommend to friends and family.
