Omg absolutely beautiful! Just do yourself a favour and go have dinner here ! We had the Chefs Special $59 pp and got to try a range of courses (highly recommend) Atmosphere is lovely in the evening with dim mood lighting. Walked out smiling, wonderful staff and phenomenal food. Will be back! Thank you for that excellent experience and the incredible flavours we can remember! Really really well done!

Wow… if you want an authentic tasting Turkish meal, well I have struck gold. The food was exquisite, we had the shared Chefs menu which gives you the ability to try almost everything n we each got to choose our own mains. The staff and service were absolutely excellent and friendly. Definitely worth coming here n I will most certainly be back 😊🍸

The food was great. Staff members, thoae two girls were very polite. There were 2 things that I didn't like: The weather inside the restaurant was warm, and The chairs were not comfortable at all.

Not bad place. Portion a bit less. If you are a big eater like me then this place is not for you. Dessert was one bite and entree was less portion. For $59 share meal per person not worth the value. The main meal taste good and service is good. Overall the taste is good but portion small.

Had ordered the chef’s menu for two and order extra main for the third person( my son).Tasty main but didn’t like the side salad that served with ( too much drill) the zucchini with prawn and fish was lovely. Barramundi was very tasty and fresh.Food has a small portion. Service is good, friendly staff.

The service and atmosphere of the place was amazing. We ordered lamb, octopus and prawns had great depth of flavour. The desert was sweet, and made with love. Fresh produce sourced locally from their own farm in Sunshine Coast. By far the best Turkish food. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go there again!

I dined for dinner with 3 friends at Olive Thyme and really had the most enjoyable evening. Having recently returned from Istanbul and turkey from a magical holiday we were looking for Turkish food that we knew tasted so good in turkey. We were very impressed with the food at Olive Thyme, it was delicious, fresh, tasty and I felt like I had been transported back to turkey! Outstanding flavours and beautifully presented food. We didn’t leave a crumb on our plate. The staff were so friendly and attentive and even sat down to join us for s chat at the end of our meal. They looked after us so well the whole evening that to be honest it really made our dining experience very special. I can’t recommend Olive Thyme highly enough!

Yum! I went here last night for a friend’s birthday and had the tasting platter. The food was amazing, the wait staff were all really friendly and the atompsphere was great! Definitely recommend this little gem!

Beautiful heritage building in the heritage precinct of Albion with the yummiest and elegant Turkish food in town!! Chefs are trustable with your food allergies and “can’t do” is not in their vocabulary.

What a fabulous night. The staff were friendly and accommodating, entertainment was glamorous and the food was superb. We ordered the Tasting Menu for 7 people. I sampled all dishes and cannot choose a favourite. It was all delicious. And, big surprise, when we arrived, my family were sitting at the next table! They immediately told me how delicious the dip platter was.

The atmosphere is great, a nice and light new interior.. the staff were very attentive and friendly. Shish and octopus salad were tasty. The baclava was very nice and so happy you have a Turkish delight cocktail on the menu, it was devine!

I've been here 4 times already.. Each and every time I have been the food has been amazing, the service is really great! Staff are warm and welcoming. Great atmosphere and great entertainment. They should be proud, it's a fantastic place to be and to eat!

The difference with this Turkish restaurant and others firstly is it’s not about quantity it’s All about Quality .... our waiter Dogu & Murat very polite & extremely attentive with all the patrons .... but the award goes to Sibel � With out Sibel it might be just a another dinner date with family but she made our visit memorable ��� congratulations to the new owners Ismet , Yalcin & Sibel �

Absolutely stunning fitout, classical beauty. The food was divine! Recommend the Dips Platter and adored the little bread and oil starter - gorgeous touch. It’s Thursday night, and we don’t want to cook. So hubby, myself and our mates down the road headed for Olive Thyme. There was plenty of social distancing going on, with tables well apart, and hand sanitiser at the entrance. The six of us shared dips and bread (no double-dipping!) – there was muammara (grilled capsicum) and hummus (chickpeas). At first look, there seems to be not much dip, and we had a small round of Anatolian bread for two people. We got an extra round of bread, which was gobbled up greedily by the lads. I would definitely have liked more dip! I’m glad that we didn’t ask for extra though, as by the end of dinner, we were all beautifully full. The bread was fluffy and light, and the dips were tasty, spicy and moreish. Mains chosen included: grilled garlic prawns, chicken thigh, beyti (minced lamb patties), imam bayildi and lamb backstrap. The prawns came on three skewers with three large ones on each. There was also zucchini and a small leafy salad. This was a generous serving, as were all of our meals. I had the chicken thigh, which was served on skewers, with green beans (delicious!) and rice. I loved the room temp. beans which were full of flavour. Hubby really enjoyed his imam bayildi - eggplant with grilled capsicum and rice. The lamb backstrap and lamb beyti (patties) were both juicy, moist and flavoursome. We finished with gelato (hazelnut and coffee) and Turkish coffees. That coffee is strong! It comes in a very small cup, so you won’t be awake all night Service was a bit distant at first, but warmed up somewhat during the night. We all left feeling very full and contented, eager to return for another night of tasty food.

Nicey but pricey!<br/>This is a lovely venue, the service was very attentive and we thought that the food was delicious - beautifully presented and cooked well. I just felt that $35 was steep for 1.5 octopus tentacles!
Food Glorious Food
Went with a group of friends. Restaurant was quite full but the food came out really quickly! Service is great as well. <br/>Dips were flavoursome and bread made in house, piping hot and fresh. <br/>Fried calamari was cooked to perfection with a beetroot, pepita and yogurt I think. <br/>Octopus was another dish cooked and seasoned to perfection. <br/>Both the lamb dishes were amazing. Lamb was so tender I kept stealing it off my partners plate. <br/>I would love to return and bring some friends along.

Fabulous dinner. We shared some entrees and mains between three people. The zucchini fitters and the stuffed eggplant were fabulous as was the puffy lavosh bread. It reminded me of Turkey. We will be back.

I had lunch here after hearing about it from a friend. As a Turk, the food and the atmosphere definitely exceeded my expectations. Presentation, texture, and the balance of flavors were top notch. Also, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Such an amazing place, manager was very lovely and able to fit us in on a busy Saturday night after walking in off the street. Atmosphere was great staff were very attentive and food was divine the octopus salad is definitely one to try. Will be recommending this place to everyone !

Eating out is about experience and taste, with the passion these guys apply to their service and their food it was an experience we will never forget. Such clean, fresh and wonderful taste. <br/>We had the set menu for 2 for a work dinner with a bottle of red wine, from the grilled octopus to dips followed by soft and tender meats and topped up with the best baklava I have ever had we ended up staying for near 3.5 hours and at no point were we rushed or made to feel we had overstayed our welcome. Host Sibel and her front of house crew we all amazing and we also had the pleasure of meeting Yalcin who educated us on his secrets of cooking amazing food.

Wow, just amazing, definitely my favourite Turkish restaurant in Brisbane. Great service. The lady running the show had complete control of the whole place. Absolutely made us feel special. The dips were unbelievable. The mains were great. Desert isn’t my thing but it was still really nice. And they kept given us extras, little things like a scoop of ice cream for our boy. Gonna come back.

Great restaurant! This place has one of the best chefs in town. Food and “meze”s (dips) are absolutely amazing.. You must also try the coctail called “raki n roll” made with turkish national anise drink. You won’t regret it!

Wow. Went to check out this local restaurant under new ownership, which used to be nice food and Brisbane's worst service. What a transformation! they've cleaned it up, and the food has gone from nice to really bl**dy good! Calamari like pillows of air, an addictive dip (muaramma ?) beautiful light but filling kofta with a delish capsicum/tomato sauce, an interesting cold octopus salad loaded with pickle and dill (didn't think I'd like it, but did), terrific baramundi, and chocolate halva ice cream (will be hard not to order that every time). Friendly, professional service, family business intent on being a success. Only open two weeks but I'm predicting it will be packed within no time. AND BYO (my wallet is smiling). This place is a winner
