Been there once on my trip to australia, loved it .. will recommend everyone to go there for the best fine dining experience and to taste the best indian cuisines. ����

Great place for catering, did a party of 50 people, they have a tie up with Lagoona Resort Restaurant for venue location, that is also in Eight Mile Plains. Food is great and venue was very nice as well, as the restaurant overlooks the pool. Had great fun, thanks.
The best Dal Makhni ever!!!!!! Just could not fault it!! The chicken and naan were amazing too!! Out of all the restaurants on the east side, this one is the best!!
I love this place ... one of the best Indian restaurant in Brisbane.. we tried a few dishes already and I want to keep coming back for more. Love it!
Amazing food, simple and elegant decor, the food is to die for, finally have found The Indian restaurant in Brisbane, will be going there all the time, there is so much variety, will take quite a few visits to try everything on the menu, thanks guys
In my hunt to find the best Indian. Cumin Courtyard so far has been the best. Everything was really nice except for the Biryani which I wouldn't order again. The naans and curries are really good (not the kind where they use sugar and chicken breast) starters were equally good
Will defintley return to try more curries
18/11/2018 Update. I know this place 5/5 after picking more North Indian dishes like Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh and Dal Makhani. We reaply enjoyed the flavours like never before! Butter chicken and Dal were super rich and flavourfull without the taste of sugar and other additives you find from other places. Will definitely return.
We all enjoyed the great food very much, excellent vegetarian & vegan meals. Service was exceptional, timing for meals to be served was spot on. Portions served are very generous compared with other restaurants. Compliments to the chef
I have eaten at this restaurant 4 times and every time I delight in the flavours of the food. The decor is simple and very tasteful. The service is excellent. The food is fresh, modern and a perfect variety to satisfy a group.
Ordered via Ubereats the other night after returning from a work trip to Sydney... Vege Samosas to start which were great and served with two sauces... Generous. Garlic naan with the Cumin Curry (chicken) requested med/ hot was beautiful and at the right heat/ spice level - not oily and naan was very nice... Pilau rice was fluffy and had a nice flavour, not overpowering or coloured yellow with fake saffron/ turmeric etc.
Since Manjit and Welcome Indian have closed, this is looking like my go to Indian which is great as it is local... Dine in will be my next visit.
North Indian food and food is made fresh and not microwaved and served like many outlets. Therefore, preparation took time. Price was reasonable, ambiance was nice, service was good, food portion was decent. Food was flavoursome and was authentic testing. Another plus, the biryani rice was not oily and same with the curries
We came here for the thali on Australia day, and also came here for a party for 50 people here, amazing food and service. Highly recommended. The best Indian food in Brisbane till date.
Very good options for both veg and non veg, the owner is very accomodating.
The dishes are delicious and in good portion sizes. My personal favourite is the chicken biryani, but the curries are beautiful too. Service speed needs to be improved, but the staff are really friendly.
what wonderful flavours! I tried the paneer makhani which was absolute delicious. the garlic naan is tasty too. the staff are really friendly and the service is quick. if I lived on the south side I would come here more often.
Probably the best Indian I've tried in Brisbane. Really delicious and interesting menu. Not just the same curries you find at every other Indian restaurant. I would highly recommend!

Ambience is great and the smells of herbs and spices coming from the kitchen were enough to get the tastebuds wanting dinner. The waitstaff were very attentive and pleasant. I’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants and the menu here wasn’t quite the selection I’m used to. But good to try new things. Wasn’t the best Indian meal I’ve had to my taste. But still really good and worth checking out. Left full and satisfied. Good job guys.
We have dined in once and ordered take away a couple of times in the last few weeks. Definitely our new regular Indian. The food is great, with lots of interesting and well presented dishes, not just your standard Indian fare. And the service is excellent, very friendly and welcoming. I rarely write online reviews but I had to recommend Cumin Courtyard!
