Antipasti : fried calamari were nothing exceptional but good and the burrata on the small side but good too. Main: Pollo was done really well, would have preferred more fresh mushrooms for the sauce rather than canned ones, broccolis or potatoes weren't really worked on, bit too simple. Calzone was excellent, living in Nice for 15 years, I had my fair share of pizza and this place would be one of the best pizza ever I had. Roma, Milano, Napoli... Now Brisbane if you want to get a great pizza. The service was great, very attentive and welcoming.

Beautiful Italian restaurant! We had: Chefs special- Beetroot cured Roasted octopus - soooo good! BRESAOLA E PESTO DI RUCOLA - Homemade red wine marinated beef (cold carpaccio) with rocket pesto, tomatoes SCIALATIELLI COSTIERA AMALFITANA Homemade “Amalfi coast” (Nona’s recipe) egg pasta with seafood ragu and a touch of lemon. Best pasta dish I have had in Brisbane!! Authentic, simple, fresh and made with passion! CREME BRULEE ALLA LAVANDA Lavender scented crème brulle, Sicilian pistachio Cannoli with buffalo ricotta filling Definitely worth a try - fabulous food, excellent service, great wine list - Authentic Italian cuisine

Really good restaurant. Only disappointment was that I had pasta, when every pizza that came out looked amazing. Also, the creme brulee is great, as is the pecorino wine on the menu.

New favorite pizza place around Teneriffe. Only took us about a year to try this place. Amazing proper wood fire pizza and the pizza just taste delicious! Bit pricey but worth it for the amazing pizza. Went to dine in once as well, tried their pasta and other dishes. The place is kids friendly.

We booked the wrong Tocco outlet and turned up in Tenerife with no table. But the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food was great. Morton bay bugs, salmon and lamb mains, all absolutely great. Desert was also very good.

A hidden gem on Florence St Teneriffe. We were welcomed by the front of house staff who opened the door for us and welcomed us in. Nothing disappointed. Friendly attentive wait staff and a great host accompanied by delightfully presented top notch food! I would 100% recommend Tocco Italiano for an overall great dining experience!

First time visiting this restaurant with friends for dinner, it was really most enjoyable, and great food and wine, staff were friendly, polite accommodating, even the owner, kept dropping by to see how we were going, great atmosphere! Would highly recommend if you love Italian food...they have a Michelin Star rated chef!

True Italian Cuisine, easy to order Menu, not a lot of confusing choices, Steak Tartare and caviar with Buffalo Mozzarella on a focaccia pizza base, should be made a regular. All meals were above standard and more like 10 star. Gnocchi with Broccoli cream and clams, was heaven, best ever Gnocchi, booked again for the 20th of Jan for Lunch, will become a habit.

We usually avoid Italian restaurants in Australia since we spend a lot of time in Italy. Quite often the food isn't up to scratch. Not this one though. Beautifully presented food and wine with attention to detail. Friendly staff. Great job!

Absolutely delicious food! True to Italian cuisine, the traditional plates make you feel in Italy. I can’t believe that this place is so underrated. The chef has a Michelin star, such award is something very rare in Brisbane.

We’ve been getting takeaway pizza at least once a week from Tocco the past two months and cannot flaw them. The bases are consistently crisp on the outside with a delicious char from the wood fired oven and a soft fluffy center. The toppings used taste high quality particularly the cheese and sauce which is rich and perfectly balanced. Our pizza is always ready within 5 minutes of calling the order through. Another quality Italian restaurant for the area. Will be dining in to try their pasta this weekend!

I just downloaded Zomato with the sole purpose of reviewing my dining experience tonight at Tocco Italiano, Teneriffe. In one word: AMAZING. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with wait staff who not only really knew the menu but were clearly passionate about the food and ingredients. There were many highlights. The gnocchi - so soft and pillowy! The beef ragu in the tagliatelle bolognese - I could have eaten two bowls in one sitting. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten was the mango macaron on the platter - it was so good we asked if we could buy two more macaroons to eat on the way out.<br/><br/>Highly recommend and will definitely come back for the burrata, more pasta and whatever was coming out of that pizza oven.<br/><br/>PS they also do cooking classes!

A big disappointment. Rang in the morning to a book a table. Left a message. No one rang back. Went anyway. And when the greeting waitress asked if we had a booking, I explained , she shrugged her shoulders and told us to pick a table. But from there on, couldn’t fault the service. <br/>Room is very nice. Beautiful chairs, generous tables , great fit out. It would benefit from some large scale art (think vintage Campari posters) as opposed to the small scale ikea looking Photos they have.<br/>We split a buffalo mozzarella to start. very nice if a bit cold and had to request some bread. Ordered the $49 special gnocchi with shaved truffle. Had ABSOLUTELY NO TRUFFLE flavour. We called them over to discuss and they were good - got the truffle from the kitchen, let us smell it, but ultimately dismissed us. Complete waste of money. It was a plain cheesy gnocchi very overpriced. <br/>Then the $35 pork belly (with carrot, tamarind and grapefruit). A very small square of well cooked belly, with, maybe one tablespoon of purée carrot, two carrot curls and two tiny segments of grapefruit. Aren’t carrots 99 cents a kilo??? <br/>We aren’t interested in revisiting the 80s and nouvelle cuisine. We aren’t interested in very overpriced mains to pay for multiple listless waiters wandering the room. Our across the street Neighbours had the same experience with a fish main<br/>I hear the pizzas are good. So order that and skip the mains, unless you’re cashed up and not hungry.

My daughters took me to Tocco Italiano Teneriffe for dinner last night as a birthday gift.  The best Italian food I have eaten outside of Italy.  The service was impeccable, the staff were friendly and very obliging.  The Spaghetti Pomodoro was spectacular.  The pizza too.  Authentic Italian.. would recommend this Michelin Star restaurant in a heartbeat.  Buonissima!

Met up with some friends and had a pizza. A three cheeses pizza and rosemary bread. Good service, great decor and the food is pretty good. I will visit again and have a more extensive dining expereince.

We called on the day to book a table for dinner only an hour in advance. They happily accommodated is. On arrival on a hideously hot evening we were thrilled to walk into a beautifully air conditioned restaurant. The menus were brought over with sparkling mineral water. The menu is extensive and everything listed sounds delicious. We shared a bottle of proseco and some crispy and warm focaccia while we decided on our mains. My friend chose gnocchi and I enjoyed calamari with popcorn, two flavours of aoli and some palate cleanser. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. The chef has a Michelin Star and it shows I’m the quality and presentation of his food. I will definitely return.
