I booked to have our work Christmas party there and thought the price per head was a bit pricey. BUT the food was amazing. The steaks were twice the recommended serve and very tasty. The 3 courses was well worth the price. The venue was packed but the staff handled it well. The only downer was that the parking was a nightmare to find but after a few laps I found a spot. Some of our group went into the bar after our party was wrapping up. A good time was had by all.
Third visit today and each occasion has been perfect. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough (and having worked in the industry I am both observant and fussy!).

Went to Deery’s for dinner during the week. Very nice and fancy restaurant. We ordered the spatchcock, 400g rib fillet and lamb shank. The meals were all portioned well but were in the higher price point as it was a fancy restaurant. All meals tasted good and if you’re looking to splurge then I suggest checking Deery’s out.
The staff were very nice, service was good. Solid craft beer selection as well.
It is better late than never! Well, when it comes to blogging it seems that I have a cycle of stagnancy (due to work obligation) and the engine starts to rev again when I have some free time. Mr and myself visited Deery's Restaurant back in February for early Valentine's Day celebration. With the in-laws looking after Grace, we took this opportunity to treat ourselves to hopefully some good food and let's see how our visit went at the Deery's.
Went there today for our friend’s Kathy’s birthday- Irish and Canadian Guys were really great and helpful - my pasta with lamb was unbelievable!

Almost every time we have been here the food is perfect. Once about a year ago my steak was meh, but I think I changed from my normal eye fillet to another cut. The vegetables here are perfectly cooked each time. No matter what entree we order, perfect. The eye fillet is the perfect cut and cooked exceptionally well here. The prices you pay for what you get are worth it. The staff are very nice and attentive. This place has been consistent with food and service. I definitely recommend and will come back.

This restaurant in the Story Bridge Hotel is fantastic - it's a large step up from the standard pub fare. They are deservedly famous for their steaks. but in fact all the food is cooked really well. They have an excellent wine list and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Went with a large group from work, and first up, I have to say, the staff were wonderful! We would have been a quite rowdy bunch & difficult to get orders etc from, but they service was great regardless. I started with the Pulled Beef Empanadas, and then had the Hunter Valley Spatchcock, and both were fantastic. I also tasted the Crispy Fried WA Octopus ordered by a colleague, and it was delicious too. My only comment, and it's a minor one, is that the eagerly anticipated Brussels sprouts with the spatchcock were a bit sparse - individual leaves, not whole/halved sprouts.

My wife and I shared a wonderful evening at Deery's for an anniversary. We had Moreton bay bugs, fresh oysters and spatchcock and each dish was top notch.
The service was great as the staff were friendly and the manager even stopped by for a quick chat and hello which was really nice.
What I really liked about the place and why we chose it is because they verge on fine dining but have an alive atmosphere the fine dining places lack.
Best steak we’ve had in Brisbane. Always consistently good food and pleasant staff. Also the best Old Fashioned cocktail around town. Excellent venue which caters to a diverse range of clientele. One of our favourite restaurants

Steak is excellent, although I haven’t had any bite of the steaks 🥩 ~~~ but I can feel the satisfaction from my colleagues, who all ordered the steak.
I ordered barramundi, I thought it’s preached or grilled but then ended up with buttered fried!!! So barramundi and chips 🍟! Lol! 😂 but can I say this is the best fish and chips I have tried?! Anyway! Really enjoyed it!

Delicious food and fantastic service from our waiter. The calamari was an excellent starter and a highlight for me. The onion rings are the best in Brisbane! This restaurant is fine dining while still being family-friendly and I'm looking forward to returning.
