Food was amazing and wonderful area, would recommend!
Amazing location with lots of options for breakfast. Nothing can be as good as having your breakfast just the riverside. And latte was exactly the way I like.

11am on a Saturdary and Riverbar was really busy with both large and small parties eating breakfast - it was by far the busiest eatery in what is a great location overlooking the river. It has a very casual feel and good atmosphere (we walked past in the evening and it was also busy then - so obviously quite popular) we loved the boat shed decor. Eggs benedict, a full breakfast, tea, coffee and juice was great value at $57 and the portion sizes were generous. The only fault for me was that the poached eggs on the benedict were set rather than soft but we'd certainly recommend it for breakfast.
Premium location in riverside, delicious food and varieties of food. One of the bests around that area and full of people. Won’t ever be disappointed.
Always a beautiful breakfast with different options. It’s our go to place when we stay in Brissy overnight! We love it, coffee is awesome too and the outlook of the Story Bridge is just awesome!! 🥰
The name pretty much defines this place. Beautiful scenic beauty to admire over your drinks and food.

Pizzas and the fries were very delicious.
Visited river bar and kitchen last night on Australia Day and ordered the salmon w saffron, fennel, red pepper and dill. The salmon was super tasty and cooked perfectly, the salmon also had crispy skin which I always enjoy.
Service was reasonably quick considering how busy the place was and it’s also a great location, with Brisbane river and Story bridge views.
A very enjoyable meal!
Great location, paid a little bit more for coffee from Single O than other places. Had a soy cap and an almond croissant. The soy cap was a bit more bitter than I’m used to.
Amazing view on the river! Food was delicious & customer service was spot on. Ordered a prawn pizza & calamari for entree. Reasonably priced.
I love the cocktail selections there. I do not go there for the food, it is mainly the drinks and the view. I really enjoy just sitting there and looking at the river and the Story Bridge. It can get really crowded on the weekends.
This is a meeting point for young people. Busy and loud. Good pizzas. Nice location on the water front. Off peak times its a nice place to relax and enjoy the view and have a drink and some food.
Lovely casual ambiance and menu amongst a rather sterile, poncy glamour strip of restaurants. Best view point along the river and my new favourite place to sit and watch the world go by. Perfectly situated near the Riverside ferry stop. Could do with a more extensive range of local, popular beers but had Great Northern on tap. Fish and chips was/were awesome!!! Great choice of seating options too with outdoor heaters. Also, the cutest Irish barman. 😆
These guys really know what they are doing. The place was packed but the lovely waitress found us a nice table for two. The environment, the music and the decoration of each centimeter of the place were just beautiful.
I was considering the food will take for ever due the amount of people, however they surprised me with no more than 15 min. wait.
The food was perfectly cooked and the taste was the perfect combination of texture and flavor you are looking for.
Will come back anytime.
Thank you!
My second visit to Riverbar & Kitchen. We were quickly greeted at the entrance by a staff member and given an option of tables. We chose to sit inside to enjoy the air-conditioning and the seating with back support. Accessibility was very good.
Our orders were promptly taken by our friendly waiter, which was great because I prefer placing an order in person. There was also the option of contactless ordering via the ME&U QR code on the table (no app required). This is good for groups who want to pay seperately. Keep in mind that, at the time of writing this, a 5% service fee is added by default, unless the 'No Service Fee' button is actually selected.
We ordered the pancakes with berries & mascarpone, and the smashed avocado with feta. We only glanced the menu and didn't realise that the smashed avo is served sprinkled with popcorn. At our request, they kindly replaced this with a new serving that didn't include the popcorn or tomato (see both photos). So if you just want a standard smashed avo on toast (without popcorn or tomato) be sure to request that when ordering.
Our Earl Grey tea with milk was hot and satisfying. Iced water was a nice touch.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch and would definitely recommend checking out Riverbar & Kitchen, if you're looking for a laid back location to enjoy the river view.
Reasonably priced cocktails but the food is a bit on the overpriced side. Good service but it's nearly impossible to order at the bar over the music, I wish it were a little quieter at least just in that area. The river location is nice and the general atmosphere is fun.
Lovely breakfast
Celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday here with breakfast and a glass of bubbles. The service was prompt and friendly. The meals were generous and delicious (although I was a little surprised the find bottled sweet chilli sauce on my fritters, they were still yummy!). The coffee was perfect. Will definitely be back.
