My best French dining experience so far! Everything was perfect - a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff who looked after us very well, delicious food of high quality and reasonable (huge, in my opinion) portion, the Escargot and Tarte Flambée are must have’s! I always get a bit stressed when eating at French restaurants (lol) but I felt very relaxed and welcomed tonight. We will definitely be back again :)

We visited Haig Rd Bistro for their Mother's Day Lunch. The food was incredible and even though it was a busy day, the service was top class. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

First time here for lunch, second time overall. We had the two course meal as we decided not to have desserts. Arvid from Berlin was an excellent host. Three meals were excellent and good value. Coffee was great and the unlimited sparkling mineral water was a real boon on a warm day.
The escargots were so good that we ordered a dozen more. The duck egg pate special entree was delightful and totally unique in presentation. The Angus eye fillet (20g) steak cooked medium rare with red wine jus topped with French mustard was so tender. The wild caught Barramundi wrapped in paper with garlic and tomato brought the taste of the ocean to the palate.

We have dined here on multiple occasions and the food is always exceptional. From the freshest oysters, mouth watering pate and gnocchi that melts in your mouth. Generous portions of authentic French food, all served with a great wine list by lovely attentive staff. Highly recommend Haig Rd. Bistro!!

The waiters were very friendly and attentive. We felt we had top service this evening. Kudos to the waiters.
The dishes were very delicious, they had strong flavours but achieved a good balance between them.
Highly recommending this place. I will visit again.

I have been wanting to try this place for ages and finally got there on my birthday. The service was friendly, attentive and excellent. The food even better. The little garlic butter escargot are the best I’ve had! We will be back!! The place was packed so make sure you call ahead to make a booking!

I had my 40th Birthday here last night and it was one of the best nights I have ever had. The food was spectacular, the atmosphere was fabulous and Selma and Ghislain were so wonderful, they made everything perfect! Could not recommend highly enough, if its dinner for 2 or for 40 this is the place to go! Thank you so much Selma and Ghislain for making my night amazing!

Dear Aussies, don't be shy and let's try something different that your usual places to go to eat by pushing the amazing doors of the French Food Shop Restaurant. You will discover what the real french food is with the famous Escargots and Crepes but also the Charcuterie and typical cheeses (and not expensive!). Please, pay intention to the wines menu and ask Max for great advises ;). Amazing atmosphere and hospitality guarantee!
PS: The perfect place for a successful first date ;)

Best French cafe and restaurant that I know! Mussels and fries night was absolutely fantastic! But really everything I tried so far on the menu was more than delicious and the prices are really good. Always a great atmosphere there and big smiles from the staff! A place to go and go again!
