Authentic Malaysian food, large portions and full of flavours. Only downside service, very much lack of, we had to go up to ask for things even though it's table service. Staff did not even announced last order when we wanted to order dessert.
Overall food is great but maybe extra hands will improve service.

What a nice surprise!!
We are in love with Roti Place, was our first time trying some Malaysian food and we loved it.
We've here twice already, the first week we tried the Nasi Lemak, some rotis and Mi goreng I think, while we're eating we saw this huge bowls going to different tables but we're already full.☺️ So we decided to come back and try their soup and OMG I was shocked at how good it was the Combination Laksa!! (now one of my favorite dishes) the Nasi Goreng was good too but the soup was the best.
The staff is gentle and young.
I really recommend this place, give it a try!!
Thanks Roti Place.

Roti with curry was fabulous. I even drank the curry soup.
Char Kuey Teow was tasty. There were big prawns and sea food in there. Good amount of ingredients.
The table was nice and clean. Our meals came with a timely manner.
Customer service was good. Will definitely come back if I visit Brisbane again.
One thing not as good, the tea pot is quite small. it says it’s for a person, I got maybe 2-3 cups from it, that’s it. Other than that, all is good.

Good location in the middle of the city, parking is horrendous but it is close to Myer centre. This place definitely gives off chic Malaysian vibes. They have a good menu and definitely tasty food. It’s not the best of the best Malaysian food there is but for what they are and what it’s worth, they ticked every Malaysian box. Also, your nostrils would be met with familiar Malaysian aromatics as you enter this joint. Highly recommend the crab dishes given the price point!

What a pleasant experience; speedy service, great meals, great value, and great taste. Given it was Friday lunch time, I was pleasantly surprised about the amount of staff attending to patrons. I enjoyed Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken; yummy. Will go there again!

Great service from Hazel, who was really lovely! Food was great as usual – I especially love the sweet roti. Hazel recommended the salty egg chicken and it ended up being my favourite main.

Has the roti canai, nasi lemak and chili crab. The crab itself was nice, but no way was that an authentic chili crab sauce. The nasi lemak was cold, ingredients old and generally unappetising, and the roti tasted microwaved. Disappointing Malaysian dishes. Only upside is the affordable prices for Australian standards.

I have eaten at Roti Place for 3 times now (a couple of months apart) and the food is decent BUT the service is always bad.
The staff always seem grumpy. 😣
Even if you greet/thank them or politely ask for something - they just always show off a sour mood.
Last night, my friends and I had a late Christmas celebration. We exchanged gifts after ordering and when our orders came the staff didn’t even wait for us to clear the table. They just literally (and quickly) placed our orders on the table - drop and leave. 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♀️ They always seem understaffed? There were only 3 waiters on the floor for dinner service last night.
Another thing which put us off was the way they took our orders, it went like this: “Hi, can I please order the hainanese chicken?”, response: “Yup ok NEXT”, my friends ordered and same response. I mean??? 😫
We enjoyed the food but I remembered why I don’t have Roti Place on my places to eat anymore - the service is always terrible. I’ve given it a few shots and I think it’s safe to say that they don’t do anything to improve their service. 🤦🏻♀️
