Love it every time. Big portions for great price. Most mains $20 or under. Love the hainan chicken and pad see ew. Prawn dumplings and salt & pepper tofu my go to! Dessert pandan coconut creme brûlée is divine!
Spot on meals here, terrific fast service, humungo delicious meals and all really great prices.
Highly recommend the battered mushrooms for something different.

Considering Matt is a frequent visitor to Treasury, we eat at Fat Noodle A LOT. We've probably tried every dish on the menu...seriously. The make your own Peking Duck wraps are tasty, but the size is not worth the $25 full-price tag (we only get them if there's a promo). Favourite dishes here are the Pepper Beef, Fat Pho, Singapore Laksa, Roast Duck soup and any of the Vermicelli Noodle salads they have on their menu at the time (Pork Lemongrass / Angus Beef). Our experience here is that you generally have to wait for a table in the main dining room, and while the waitstaff say there is a 30mins+ wait time, we have never waited more than 15-20 minutes for a table here. One thing to prepare yourself for is the fairly abrupt service. Because these waiters are essentially working in two restaurants (also having to serve clients in the private rooms upstairs) they are FLAT OUT.
Our tip * would be to order everything you want in one go, because you might be hard pressed to get a waiter back to your table again.

Cozy restaurant and you have to wait for few minutes before you’re seated. It would be nicer if there are vegetarian/vegan options in their menu. Overall, very quick service and friendly staffs 👌 note that some of the dishes aren’t available as shown in the menus. Need to be updated
There are nothing I extremely like about the dishes but there is consistent good quality food. All of the dishes are worth a try. There is good variety.
Great lunch spot in the CBD. Food simple, very tasty and served quickly. The mee goreng was delicious. Tables were very close together. Yum!
My go-to restaurant for Asian cuisine in Brisbane's CBD. The food here is always delicious, full of flavour and arrives at your table fairly quickly* (*this depends on what you order at what time of day - I've had to wait up to 30 minutes for a noodle dish during the busy lunch time period). Restaurant atmosphere is great both indoors and outdoors. The staff have always been pleasant and will provide you with free tea throughout your stay. The portion sizes are massive and are definitely value for money. Perfect restaurant for a catch up with friends or a celebration over quality, flavoursome food.
Visiting from Melbourne and popped in for dinner. Shared the peking duck pancakes for entree ($25) between three of us. Delicious! Tasty duck with green veggies and herbs with hoisin sauce that you put together in a pancake. Fresh and tasty. I had the wok tossed vegetables with chicken ($23) for main. Served with rice. It was really fresh and cooked well, I enjoyed it. All the main dishes were really big serving sizes. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant - comfy and it was quiet where we were sitting, even though it was busy. Really enjoyed it all.
Gamblin the luck & feelin hunger in the soul. Recharge the sugar to the brain's roulete cells. Try the Fat noodle chinese fast menu.
Speed food delivered by black clad waiters and waitresses. We had rice dishes and the rapid peking duck. The stir fry beef and veges were hot and saucy with the rice. Then back to the furnace of the gamin tables. Prices were reasonable for the Casino venue. $20 for the Peking duck. And rice dishes around there too.
Being a fan of Luke's TV shows I dined here two ago expecting a great experience and was not let down. I had the hainan chicken and prawn dumplings. Both were Devine but the hainan was top class and maybe me see why Luke has his success as a chef. I have tried a few 'to die for' hainanese chicken but this topped them all. The difference of using free range chicken stood out, and also the broth that was served with it was a lovely addition. Will be going back to sample more off this great looking menu
Vietnamese is one of my favourite cuisines and Fat Noodle has served consistently tasty food since I started going there years ago. The decor is modern but still distinctly eastern. Price of food is average but sometimes they have really good specials. Service depends on the individual .. I’ve encountered very nice staff and indifferent staff sometimes on the same night. I did get to meet Luke Nguyen during my last visit and he is lovely.
Damn that’s good stuff! I ordered the Singapore Laksa and it was amazing!! I washed it down with an espresso martini which was in itself delicious! It was quite busy but we managed to secure a table right away on a Friday night. Highly recommended 😎👍
We were hungry, so ordered the Nem nuong, Chicken pad thai, Pepper beef
& Hainan chicken. The Nem nuong was a refreshing vermicelli noodle salad - would have been more delicious with spring rolls for crunch; the pepper beef was insanely good; the pad thai tasted pretty standard; the Hainan chicken came with a spicy sauce & an extraordinary broth. We finished with doughnuts & pandan, and mango pudding which would bring me back anytime!
It is recommended that members who apply for the casino can enjoy high-value member meals here. There are certain drinks and certain wines in it, which are exclusive member prices. Overall, it is very comfortable to enjoy meals here.
Update 2022: Had the January special of wagyu beef and prawn stir fry with rice noodle for $9.90, really good!

Delicious food. We had the lamb shanks massaman curry with coconut rice, very flavourful with the meat so tender, fell off the bone and just the right amount of spiciness.
We also enjoyed the miang goong (prawn on betel leaves), lemongrass and garlic silken tofu and the monthly special - pepper beef and prawns with egg fried rice.
The only let down was the signature pho.
I've been a few times and the service have been prompt, friendly and attentive.
Get the Star Club membership (for free) to get the $14.90 monthly special deals + 10% off food and drinks. We had the Thai grilled chicken with sticky rice and pickles. It was really good for the price!
This is our 2nd time here for the two different Lobster noodles. We loved the food, and their food was well flavoured. Check out or photos.
This is my 2nd time visiting this restaurant. Why? There's something in the soup, that Fat Pho soup. It's been calling me back just to fill a void it left the 1st time I visited. It's not a void because something is missing. It's a void when you try it once, the void will slowly grow after you left satisfied.
