The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The flavours are like nothing I've ever tasted before. I got the share plate and there was honestly nothing on that plate I did not like (I even ate the tomato and I normally hate tomato!). Such a filling, delicious meal. I cannot wait to return to try the other menu items. This will definitely be my "go to" now!
The staff were absolutely beautiful too. I booked and they used my name all night when communicating with me - very "family" feel to the place.
Go to this place NOW! And have a feast - you will not regret it. �

I have had a lot of Ethiopian foid, but this is simply the best. We ordered the mixed platter to avoid having to decide off the menu - excellent choice and I highly recommend. You must book as it gets very busy.
Delicious tasty food
We had a wonderful Friday night dinner at this homely restaurant. The food was tasty and fresh - cooked right in front your eyes. We loved the mushrooms and spinach, zigini (red beef stew) and yeberie t'ibs (stir fried beef). The injera (spongy pancakes) were a hit too!
This is by far one of the best restaurants in Brisbane. Do yourself a favour and order the red beef stew and green lentils together. The family who run this restaurant are so attentive to their diners and ready to share their culture with you. Come eat here if you want to taste delicious food and experience outstanding customer service!
Love this place. It’s small and cosy, book ahead of you are eating in as it’s so popular. All meals are freshly prepared, portion size is spot on and flavours are exquisite! There’s nothing else like it on our area. The meals can take a little while to come and that’s fine by me because it’s fresh cooked and worth the wait. You want fast service go to a fast food place! We visit often thank you!
Simply put WOW. Being an African boy from Swaziland, I was taken back to my earlier years by the pure taste of the food. No doubt the best meal I have had in a while, with the Vegetable dishes being an absolute stand out. Service from the 2 Sons of the owner of the business was very homely. This is now my favorite place for a health feed.
We dined here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have just booked again. The food was so full of flavour and the staff very friendly and helpful. A small restaurant that I hope goes from strength to strength.
We dined there Saturday night after a long lengthy delay the food finally arrived which was worth the wait for The delay caused by a late leaving Christmas group booking Even though it took over an hour for our meal to arrive we were reassured that the meal would be forthcoming The steak tartare with chilli powder was wonderful as was the coconut pumpkin The chicken tips and mushroom spinach dishes along with the pancakes were also great A must have is a bottle of the refreshing mint water We will return again to explore the menu more
I went there with friends on a Friday night and foolishly didn’t make a reservation. They kindly seated us in the tiny restaurant and we watched as about 25 more people arrived over the next hour as we waited for our meals. Had no idea that this little place would be so popular. The food was delicious and we were very ready for it after our wait. As far as we could see there was one lady doing all the food prep and cooking and using only two cooktops - nowhere near enough equipment and staff to cope with the eat in crowd let alone the takeaway. I’m delighted that such a unique cuisine is doing so well but I hope that they increase their staff and facilities to cope with the demand. We will get take away next time. To reiterate the food was delicious- both meat and vegetables really tasty. Simple but tasty.
Best Ethiopian food we have found in Brisbane by far. Food was authentic, fresh and healthy. Owners were lovely and will definitely be back.

The service, hospitality & food were outstanding. The traditional injera baskets & woven thread table runners are lovely decor. The full view into the kitchen is testament to a well run, top grade & hygienic work space. Thank you for having us; we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Amazing food, wonderful chefs! I felt at home. Must try eating traditional style with no cutlery! Best time ever! Mandarin pudin is a must!
This was a good find in the suburbs from the Entertainment Book, so glad we tried it & will be returning with friends. This beats travelling out to Moorooka for an African meal. Parking at the back, which was very handy. Meals were very tasty. The fried beef was a little dry, but it was so tastie that we very quickly overlooked this. Recommend having the Red Beef Stew. This place is family run with mum doing the cooking & very polite son's serving. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because we were never given serviettes or wet ones, especially when you are eating with fingers & Injera. Food was very tasteful & the boys were very helpful with their recommendations.

A wonderful dining experience. I have been here several times and I am always impressed by the high standard of service. The staff are exceptionally friendly and kind.
The menu has something to please even the fussiest eater - I highly recommend the combination of the red beef stew and green lentils. The food is fresh and you can watch it being cooked. Plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian friendly options.
Book ahead if you intend to dine with more than 3 people. I strongly recommend supporting this family run eatery.
Lovely homestyle food. Great for vegetarians but the also do meat dishes.
Firstly it's the food. Beautifully prepared and served. Wonderful range of meat and vegetable dishes and fabulous flavours. Secondly ... the service and value for money. The share platter exceeded all expectations. Thirdly ... it's wonderfully located with easy parking and so nice to dine in an intimate setting and watch the food being prepared. Fantastic place and bookings essential.
