Review My Mistress - Brisbane

Christine Andrews
Queue to be seated even if you've booked a table. It is a very popular place. Staff are excellent. Food was good. Atmosphere was great. I'd come here again.
Dawn Hendrick
Simply amazing food. Admittedly we went for a late lunch mid-week so no queue or trouble getting a seat. QR code ordering is quick and easy but can cause headaches when orders get mixed between tables - sigh. But the staff were very apologetic and tried to resolve things amicably.

I absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, the stuff were friendly and funny, and the overall aesthetic was beautiful. I would come back just to sit there with a coffee and listen to the great playlist they had rocking all day. I would definitely recommend My Mistress to all my friends.

🌿 Service - 4/5 🌿 Coffee - 4/5 🌿 Food - 4/5 I love the rustic vibe this place gives off. I got The Eggs Marilyn and my Mum got The Eggs Monica - the names are great and fun. The food tastes as good as it looks honestly. It gets busy on weekends, but it’s definitely worth the wait times.

My mistress cafe had decent food and a rustic feel to it. It was quite spacious with sufficient seating for larger groups. Unfortunately, it was quite warm inside and had plenty of flies in summer.

Friendly service, seated quickly we had : House Made Turmeric Latte & Chocolate - Grounded Pleasures Chai Latte STRIP TEASE - Southern fried chicken, waffles, smashed avocado, Russian dressing, and topped with maple syrup. EGGS MARILYN (vo, gfo) - Eggs Benedict on a toasted croissant with wilted spinach, poached eggs, house made hollandaise sauce. Served with your choice of protein. Delicious food, they where very busy, we where lucky to even get a table. We waited a little bit for our food, but was well worth it.

Fantastic cafe on the Northside. Just enough off the main road that you might easily sail on by. Almost had a secluded little secret garden feel. Food here is fabulous and all a bit cheekily named, in keeping with the name of the cafe. Again, coffee- always important. Really good. Chorizo scramble and pesto with poached eggs and they were both delish.
Hannah Paterson
Food was A+. I had the oh my geisha we the waffles with chicken. Both were great! We sat inside which was a bit loud, but the service was good too. I’ll be back.
Jenniee
I have ordered Oh My Geisha from the menu and it was extremely yummy!! So nice with the twist of adding bacon and egg on top. Never thought okonomiyaki would go so well with those. Staffs were really friendly and polite as well. Definitely recommend trying.

Small cafe hidden away behind greenery in Clayfield. Small indoor and outdoor seating area with both breakfast and lunch menu available.
The eggs Benedict on the bagel was lightly disappointing as the salmon was quite dry, the bagel was slightly over toasted as a result the whole dish was quite tough and dry to eat.

Coffee was however very nice
Reni
Excellent customer service and kids friendly:) Even my daughter enjoyed their bagels so much! Morning glory dish is a MUST have food, yum!

Ambience is lovely and service was good. Quite a wait, good coffee. The waffle dough was very very dense and almost stale. Presentation was nice. Poached eggs were underdone with so much runny white I couldn’t eat them. Crumbed mushroom was fine, a little oily and soooo much sauce. The asparagus was cold and over cooked. For the price it was super disappointing, please master basics before attempting to be fancy. Such a shame, a waste of money, wouldn’t recommend.

I’ve tried most things and can say they’re all great. The avocado on toast is probably my favourite!! aesthetic food and interior and exterior.
Claire
I ordered a meal (Geisha) that was recommended by staff. I couldn’t eat it as it tasted terrible and I informed the staff. They charged me full price. I have been here a few times and won’t be back. Terrible food, service and way over priced. There are much better cafes close by. Keep driving past this one.

It's not every day you really struggle to decide what to have for breakfast because absolutely everything sounds amazing and you want it all! My Mistress's menu does just that. I chose the Rendezvous - smashed avocado on sourdough with housemade labneh, lemon olive oil, dukkah and tomatoes with the addition of haloumi. It was beautifully presented and the flavours just worked so well. The labneh was certainly a standout, I really loved it with the dukkah - these guys know flavour.

Coffee is also excellent and service was friendly, quick and helpful - they even offered to get me a smaller, more baby friendly highchair for my little miss. It's small details like this that really make a difference and alongside great food, coffee and a lovely atmosphere, help get a five star review from me.

Great spot, not too expensive and one I'll definitely revisit to try something else from their fantastic menu.

Picked up my buddy from the airport and then stopped at this place to have a long awaited catch up. We are both coffee snobs and I had my eye on this place for a while but never found the right time to stop by. Today was the day!
It’s very convenient coming back from the airport to the city, with ample parking on the streets nearby. There is also some customer parking out back.
Friendly staff treated us and picked out a lovely bench table in the sun. Had myself a small flat white and the coffee was ok. Nothing memorable, but lovely. Great little location, I would love to come back. â˜•ïžđŸ˜
Very nice ambience! The staff were friendly and sweet, especially the woman who offered to take our photo. We tried the ‘potato chips’ with spicy Russian dressing + Himalayan Paprika salt. Would 100% recommend that dish for all those who want to try something different.
Mildred
Really good take on breakfast dishes - inventive but conventional & generous enough to keep everyone happy, good quality ingredients & nicely done. Probably one of the best places to eat breakfast, the coffee is delicious & the service capable. However - it's a lot nicer outside than in, which is very noisy (poor sound proofing, the blare of music), the wait staff didn't bother to tell me about the special & the big breakfast comes without bread - probably in keeping with the false belief that a plate of bacon/sausage/eggs is healthier without carbs. Maybe let customers know so they can decide for themselves. These are minor pickles though - & only stand out because everything else about this place is so very very good.
Jenna De Marco
Delicious! I have been to My Mistress and few times now and every single meal has been amazing. The coffee is great. Just a shame they don’t take reservations.
Danelle Lim Yun
Ordered the morning glory, eggs Marilyn and their special of kimchi slaw, Bao and Chinese sausage. The food wasn't really outstanding. The potato and dill fritter was mushy and the serving was rather small for the price. The morning glory was decent. Personally, I did not like their special. The Bao was hard and chewy. The service was alright and the coffee was decent too, but it's probably not a place I'd return to.
Hayley Harris
Great tasting and looking food which compliments the amazing service with a smile from the staff even so early in the morning, loved it and will be back!
Brooke Moroney
So the coffees were good as always but the food wasn’t good at all, for the quality it was super over priced. We got the my geisha and it was awful! When you pay 60 dollars for breakfast you expect it to be pretty good. Very disappointing.

We were in the area and decided to do takeaway. Fortunately, the whole of MM’s menu can be taken away and adjusted (for vegan etc). We had an acai fruit bowl and toasted ham+cheese+tomato sandwich...the food was excellent and service exemplary. Would definitely return! 😍

Busy Sandgate Road probably isn’t the first place you think of when looking for a little oasis in the inner-burbs, but it’s exactly here that you’ll find one. At first you may just see an overgrown hedge from the main road, but look again and behind the expansive vines and shrubbery you’ll spot My Mistress CafĂ©.
Stelyios
Located in a somewhat unsuspecting location My Mistress is a delightful local cafe serving great breakfast and lunch!

For our late breakfast we ordered the Waffles and Acai Bowl. The Waffles were cooked to perfection, dressed well in maple syrup and lemon curd. The Acai bowl fell a little short of expectations however and tasted more like a watery sorbet than anything else. The addition of granola is highly recommended. Coffee however was a little less than impressive and tasted a little burnt. Bewray that the mug is massive and only for the serious coffee lovers!

Service is great and ambience and feel of the cafe is delightful.

I enjoy coming here, but I find parking hard for those that have to drive!! Coffee is good, breakfast and lunch are yum yum. I find sitting inside uncomfortable, maybe the exhaust fan hasn't been working, it's really smoky and hot in there, but your little courtyard is just perfect for a morning coffee!

A great little find on a trip to Brisbane!! The menu is so quirky and the food was so flavoursome and different!!! Definitely recommend coming here in a group and ordering a variety of dishes to share to try the unique offerings.

Oh man. I wish I live closer to this place. Love the names of dishes that associated with the name of the cafe 😂. Amazing food with good quality ingredients. Lovely fragrant coffee. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Worth the wait in queue for a table. What do you expect? It’s a popular for good reason. Though, I would recommend sitting outside
James.nikitakis
Really friendly and helpful staff, nice garden setting if you get an outdoor table, solid coffee, fantastic food! Order the Head Mistress if you’re hungry: the potato & feta balls are to die for, and the cherry tomatoes are like nothing I’ve had before (I didn’t touch the tomato sauce you can see in the photo that I foolishly ordered!). We’ll be back.

Probably the worst value breakfast I have had in Brisbane. Small portion sizes and poor service. Waited nearly an hour for 2 bagels which were 20 dollars each. My partner had to ask for our food because we had been waiting so long. The bagels arrived and I was disappointed to see it was literally a bagel, no extras on the plate, nothing. For 20 dollars very poor value. Even when asked at the end what we thought we were honest and the only response was well it's Saturday morning, it's busy, it can't be helped. Won't be going back.
Rebecca
Good place for a breakfast! The food was pretty good, despite the bread having a strange sweet flavour and the mushrooms infused with an overly strong flavour. Setting was outdoors, which was lovely, however lack of umbrellas made the setting extremely hot. Staff were very friendly.
DianaW
This cafe would easily have scored a 5 by me for the food, but the service & coffee were my peeve. Admit they were having a very busy Sunday breakfast session, but the wait for our breakfast was over half an hour. Coffees came out pretty quickly, but mine was slopped in the saucer with no apology which gives an indication to the watery coffee, on saying that, bar the presentation, the coffee had a good flavor base, think it was Genovese but don't quote me on that? My choice of dish was the "Oh My Geisha, a Japanese style pancake of cabbage, which came with bacon (pooch ate that) egg, ginger & red chillies (which were hot) Was a delightful combination of flavors & something one wouldn't expect on a breakfast menu, just wow!. Partners dish was also a winner- the fresh salmon chunks with dill, eggs & asparagus.

Nice outdoor setting, super friendly staff and decent food. Food was pretty good though a little basic and lacked some of the special touches other cafes add to differentiate. Coffees were great and very speedy! Outdoor setting was nice though a little too sunny; we had to move tables to a more shaded location after being scorched. Staff were very friendly and happy to make suggestions. Upon paying inside I noticed the indoor setting which was rather bland and stuffy with fumes from the kitchen. Glad we weren't sat in there! One of my favourite spots on the northside. Super friendly and accomodating staff and some delicious eats, the brekky bagel (morning glory) is a must try!

Yum yum yum!! Girls were understaffed today but we're doing an excellent job! Food was so gooood, and hit the spot after an early morning exam! Thank you My Mistress, I'll certainly be back again when I'm on your side of town!!

Always busy, because it is awesome! Excellent food, friendly service. Very inventive and funny naming of the menu. You have to experience this.

Good breakfast, good coffee. I've found service has been a hit and miss - when it's good it's really good and when it's bad, it's just frustrating. We came in for a later lunch at 1:45 and were turned away because they said the kitchen had closed. I think a late lunch is from 1:30-2:30 so how can you close a kitchen that early??? They only have a breakfast selection too (only recently introducing a lunch menu- hopefully they extend their kitchen hours with this change......). French toast is really good. I think it could use a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar though. They don't take bookings which is infuriating to be turned away at the door, they should introduce a few waiting seats along the side where you can take a number and sit with a coffee until your number is called. It's a good cafe with good food but just needs improvement which is understandable considering it is still relatively new. Now is when it needs to make some changes though........ hopefully they do and then I'll return.

Do believe you should NOT have to wait almost 15 to order. Staff so disinterested. Food very average but service, or lack of, made it a unpleasant visit. Air conditioning is a joke was cooler outside
Don't think I would return

While 'no looker' from the outside, My Mistress is a place fighting for a space in 'Brissie's most bonzer brekkie' charts. For real, whenever passing this place, its hard to deny there's rarely a morning moment that you don't see it full, and that's got to be a good sign, right?

The raunchy, restaurant theme (Eggs Marilyn, Eggs Monica, Morning Glory, Sweet Thang) makes for one wild, erm, morning stroke breakfast, and its 'more than meet's the eye' style - from bagels with an egg eyed centre and the daily special arriving like something out of a movie - is undeniably appetite whetting.

Any good then? Well, its a crowd pleaser for sure; smoked bacon the way bacon should be, nice tomato relish and aioli with fried egg and the smallest piece of rocket my world has possibly seen (a plus point, not a complaint)) are some of the highlights inside of the toasted bagel that is Morning Glory.

The Swiss cheese, however, lacks any real contribution and seems out of place (another cheese of an alternative variety would have been better.) The main area of concern is something that is easily done, but done far too often at all too many places; the fried egg. While the yolk is near perfect, the undercooked white leaves you having to messily remove it.

The brekkie special is simply stunning; sweet tomatoes, monstrously massive, mega mushrooms, two almost perfect poached eggs, a subtle portion of prosecuto and pesto and finally, sourdough toast to round off. Service was excellent; the charity box was one of the best I've ever seen, there's indoor or outdoor eating and, outside of signs blown over by an over hearty Bressie breeze and a dog fight averted, this was a brekkie to remember, with only one or two things to forget.

This place is decked out nicely! Was very excited to try out breakfast here and chose the Eggs Marilyn - it came out looking great, couldn't wait to dig in. Unfortunately it tasted average and the coffee was on the weak side.

Great food, wonderful coffee and excellent service!!
My extra hot coffee was extra hot!!! YES!!!!
I'll definitely be returning and recommending My Mistress to all my friends and family.

Heard a lot about this place from everyone. Decided to try it on a gloomy day. We arrived and it was choccas! We were asked to wait in alone until we were seated inside. I had the eggs Monica which was corn and zucchini fritters, eggs and Avo. It was delish. Everyone was happy with their meals. I thought that sitting inside was a tad noisy as we had to raise our voices quite significantly to hear each other. Coffee was nice although not hot enough for me. We shall be back to try more !

Always a pleasure coming here. Love the style, coffee and food. I have so many favourites here: the frittata is amazing even though I'm usually a bacon person. The French toast is great and a visual stunner. Their poached eggs are always done perfectly and doesn't have the vinegary taste.
Food Glorious Food
Early opening hours was welcomed on this Friday morning. Not many cafes are up and running at 6.30am. We were the 1st in and was afraid we'd be turned away as some places advertise different operating hours to what they really do.
Friendly and warm service. Breakfast menu was a little more exciting than the usual bacon and eggs or eggs benedict. The names were intriguing and we decided on French toast and the smashed avocado. Please forgive me for the non-specific dish naming. French toast was average, the berry compote and the fruits were nice and refreshing but the french toast itself, could be much better. My dining companions smash avocado with a side of bacon looked a lot more enticing.
1st coffee was almost immediate given we were the only ones there. But the 2nd lot of coffee/tea took forever. What was good about it was the waitress apologised for the delay and admitted that the docket went missing. Things happen and its a real struggle and not just an imaginary excuse.
Parking is a little tricky, you need to park up the side street. However, it didn't look like it was going to be difficult to find a spot even at 8.30am when we left.

Excellent service, have been here a few times and the owner is always friendly with fast service and short waiting times.

The menu had a great variation so there's something for everyone and the coffee is unreal.
The atmosphere is great and they make it comfortable even with the noise of Sandgate Rd nearby.

I've had the avocado mash with feta and citrus juice with a side of bacon and absolutely love it, great flavours and the bacon was not overdone.

My partner and I love this place and will endeavour to make it one of our regulars!

I love this place. It is definitely my local and my go too. I haven't tried too many of their menu options as I can't go past the acai bowl with muesli or the rendezvous. They always remember my coffee order as well which is always nice.
Jason Kitch
Nothing extraordinary here. Staff were friendly and atmosphere good. Lunch was good but I would suggest they work on the beverages. Now for my major concern, cleanliness. This would have to be the dirtiest Cafe I have been to in some time.

Close your eyes and imagine the best smashed avocado and feta on toast you've ever eaten - now open them and drive to My Mistress and make that dream a reality. As locals in the area, we love heading to My Mistress for a coffee (and food, we won't lie, we can't resist). The menu isn't extensive but so far, everything we've tried we have really enjoyed. The portions are just right and the coffees are always great. We've brought our dog down before and they always bring out a bowl of water for him which is lovely. Service can be a bit slow on Saturday and Sunday's during peak breakfast/lunch times. They could probably use an extra waiter as food and coffee can take a bit longer.

A word of warning - if you come at a really popular brekky time on Saturday or Sunday you will probably have to join the queue.

Eggs Marilyn was ridiculously delicious! Tried my friend's "Head Mistress" though, she was happy with it but I found the sauce to be quite bland. Also they need to work on their chai lattes, it was way too sweet (there were big clumps of sugar/cinnamon when I got to the bottom of it)! Staff were lovely, I'll be back!
Thebasicbalance
I loved my time at My Mistress this morning. The staff were friendly and it is such a cute cafe! I had the Acai bowl and a bite of morning glory which was delicious. The fresh juices were yummy! The coffee was smooth although milky and a little weak. I will be back!
Courtney
Absolutely fantastic!!! Best eggs Benny I have had!! My partner had the bagel which was delicious too! The staff were lovely and friendly and made you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend :)
C&S

I popped in to this busy cafe on a whim whilst visiting family in brisbane. I was there on both saturday and sunday purely to get myself a morning coffee fix. I haven't tried the food as the line for a table was silly. The first thing I noticed; there was one guy making coffee...... This cafe was packed to the brim, 3+ staff in the kitchen 5 maybe 6 waiting tables, but only one guy making what must have been kilos of coffees. Look, im no barista, I have no idea how difficult/easy it is to make coffee, but the 10 or so people waiting in front of me were served swiftly and waited no longer than 5 minutes for a take away. The coffee itself was outstanding, I was struggling to comprehend how with that many orders, my temperature and flavour was still so nice. I came back the next day with the intent to have food, again, a long line of people waiting for a table. As I approached the counter, I once again saw the same guy, on his own, surrounded with mountains of cups, he looked up for a brief second, acknowledged my presents, and said quietly " same as yesterday mate? " no more than 5 minutes later, once again, as perfect as the day before, my coffee. I dont write reviews often, at all even, but this one guy needs some recognition, my hat goes off to you, mate. I didnt catch his name, but next time im in brisbane ill be coming to see you.

I had heard so much about My Mistress and it wasn’t too far away, so I suggested to the SO we head there for an early lunch while Bubby was cooperative.
Tom Troy
After waiting 30 minutes patiently for a table and staring at what looked like great food - our table was given away to someone who just arrived. Seriously p***ed off. Never coming back.
Dolce Bunnie
I loved the fact that once cut open, golden egg yolk covered the crispy fritters that were overloaded with sweetness from the corn and slight saltiness of the haloumi. I loved the sensation of the sweet juice from those bright red blistered cherry tomatoes bursting in my mouth. And as for the French toast, I couldn’t get enough of it, albeit the portion was extremely generous. The dish was done the proper, traditional way with thickly sliced bread soaked in egg batter, fried then drenched with sweet, sweet, maple syrup; not to mention that the smoked bacon created a great contrast.
Matt
Just had brekky here, very nice, great atmosphere, friendly service, food is nice too and reasonably priced! Keen to come bac and try lunch as the menu sounds great!
Bradleyfab7
Went here on a weekday for bday breakfast with our family of seven. Service was prompt and friendly. Menu was small, yet offered a unique twist on the standard breakky menu items, and atmosphere was Melbourne like. Loved everything about it. Definitely going back.
Teomelvin39
Fantastic little place for the cheeky ones.
Eggs Monica outwit Marilyn. Coffee is good.
PS: DO NOT sit inside if you want your clothes to smell greasy or your date doesn't turn out well (a foggy environment could helps).
Probably the owner should have a stove top range hood.

Love love love. Can not find a thing wrong with this place! Best coffee I've ever had (ruined all other coffee for me)
The staff are the friendliest, greatest people and always take a personal interest in us and how our day/food is, introducing themselves and remembering all our names too.
The food is brilliant - sad to see people complaining about a wait, food takes time to cook and you're not the only customer in the restaurant!!!!
New Brisbane favourite, will be back weekly!

Multiple choice wait. Have been three times since opening. It's superb to "walk" somewhere local that is not on or near racecourse rd and the antiquated options that exist on that street. Consistent. I've been visiting my mistress for the last few weeks now and I must say I do enjoy it. Food is great, coffee is excellent. The young barista with the tattoos is probably the most consistent i've found in brisbane, every cup is delightful, he even remembered my coffee after visiting just once ( and he's a total babe ) ;) would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Thumbs up!!

Delicious!. I had breakfast with my friend on Friday and our food was delicious. The coffee was great and thankfully they had lactose free milk! Our food was served very quickly and the staff were friendly and cheerful. They were accomodating of my dog coming along for the trip. Couldn't fault!

Delicious!. My friend and I had breakfast on Friday and we couldn't fault. The staff were friendly and cheerful, and even brought a dish of water for my dog. The coffee was perfect (thank you for having lactose free milk!) and my friends juice was great. Our breakfasts were delicious. Really happy - will definitely return soon!

Lovely rendezvous with My Mistress. Heard about My Mistress and drove from the southside to sample their menu. We weren't disappointed and will definitely return.

-----19 Feb, 2015-----

Eggs Monica. Fresh and delicious. Nice presentation.

Yummy!. Great cafe! Super friendly staff, delicious menu, amazing coffee, all in a super cozy setting. My Mistress attracts all types as it just has a lovely, homely feel! One of my favs in Brisbane. Well done My Mistress!

New kid on the block - impressive. My girlfriend and I have visited on several occasions since opening day.
Considering we live over an hour away, I shouldn't really have to say any more, but I'm going to anyway.
The coffee is the best I've come across in brisbane and the food, well we have probably tried the entire menu. Each time we have gone home satisfied and more then happy to foot the bill for a cheeky sunday morning breakfast.
As for wait times, I'd say a line out the door every weekend speaks volumes for the cafe, the team and the owners.
We will surely become "regulars".
Tashhmaree
Great food & atmosphere!. I came to My Mistress for breakfast a few weeks ago and i've been back 4 times now! The food is fantastic & i loved the quirky menu. The cafe has a warm ambient feel to it. The perfect spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch.. OR! Just your morning coffee fix.
I'll certainly be back for more.

Love it!. This could quite possibly be my favourite new brekkie spot in Brisbane. Food (baked eggs are the best!) and coffee are outstanding and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend you check it out.

What a gem. I have been visiting my mistress since her doors opened and I love what they have to offer...I can see they have been incredibly busy since grand opening and doing an amazing job and wish them all the best... I heard there were some lunch options starting this week so I can't wait to see what delicious goodies they will have to offer.... Oh and the coffee is sublime.... Definatley worth the wait she is busy...
Gemma Cuskelly
Favourite new brekky restaurant in Brisbane. Wonderful well thought-out menu, tasty food, and GREAT coffee! What will really draw you back though is the lovely friendly & accommodating staff. There is always a line up out the door, & with a great combo of top notch customer service & delish food & drinks, there's no wonder people are waiting to get in!!! Give it a go, trust me it's worth the wait. Fave dish = The Monica... Haloumi fritters, need I say more...?
Mamasita_k
Best Trendy Cafe in Brisbane. Located in a beautiful area but far from pretentious! I have travelled over an hour to have their coffee and breakfast and it is well worth the drive. Perfect place where I can have a low key coffee by myself or organise a catch up with my friends. The reason I feel the wait is long is because the girls have a great reputation and are getting slammed with high demand - which to me is a great sign. I don't mind waiting for a table because I don't get rushed out as soon as I finish eating like most popular places in Brisbane. It's gay friendly, kid friendly and free from bad vibes. The staff all are happy to serve and make you feel comfortable which is refreshing compared to most cafés where the staff hate their life of a weekend. Reminds me of Melbourne! Love My Mistress. 5 stars!!
Melissa Hamilton
Great new cafe. Gets quite busy as it is a popular new place but definitely worth the wait. Staff are super friendly and both the coffees and meals were delicious. The whole place has an awesome vibe. We will definitely be back!

Great coffee, Great Food & Great Service. We travelled from the South side of Brisbane to check out My Mistress after a recommendation from a friend. And we loved it - nice food, great coffee and great service.
Certainly worth the trek and thanks for being welcoming to our two little ones as well - they loved the Iced Chocolate!
Jsm
Good luck. Complete lack of communication from the get go. Wait 15 minutes for a table then wait 10 minutes for a menu then ten minutes to speak to someone about taking an order for 2 people - then another five minutes until they come to actually take order. Just how we love to spend our Sunday mornings - waiting in the dark. Just talking to their customers would make the biggest difference. We walked out after waiting for 30 mins and with only five words spoken to us the whole time. This was out second and last attempt to try the fare - sad to say we had the same reception last week! What fools are we! No mistress would put up with that treatment in a relationship - much less a paying one!
Nicole
A small wait. But worth it. Good coffee. I had the Acai bowl and it was scrummy! I'll be back.

Great new spot. Fantastic new niche cafe.Despite the lineup to get in which remained the whole time we were there, the service was as quick as possible and done properly with a smile which is great to see.One girl said this was her ninth day working but she didn't seem to care. She was enjoying herself which makes all the difference in good service.Food was also very prompt, again surprising given the crowd. All very tasty and made well.Coffee was superb. Will be back for sure.

My Mistress. I have had two dishes there already and I loved them! Absolutely delicious! I plan on going back on the weekend to try another meal and I am so looking forward to it! Omnomnom... And by the way, the coffee is the best I've ever tasted! I have been getting coffee from there most days of the week! Can't wait to stop by there in the morning!☕

Limited menu that's not really worth the asking price. Good coffee though. Can't understand why people line up for this place?

Good coffee. Not worth the food. Food was very small portions, expensive and limited menu. Coffee was a rip off $5.50 for a coffee. Food had scrambled eggs, fritters and a few cherry tomatoes for $17.5 . So not worth the price and quantity. However to admit the coffee was good but still $5.50 for a coffee is something I am not too sure about.

Hopefully going forward they give more for the price but at the moment, I shall not be returning as there are far more and better choices in the area.

Limited menu but very delicious

Without question the best coffee in Brisbane. The corn and zucchini fritters were perfection. Highly recommend this cafe for a delicious breakfast date, early or late in the day, you will not be disappointed. Staff are an absolute delight - my new favourite spot in Brisbane!

Best local breakfast. My favourite coffee place in Brisbane. The Barista is excellent. Love the bagel and french toast. Staff are very friendly and the street parking is handy. Get in early if you want a seat on the weekend (it gets busy). Awesome place to stop if you're on Sandgate road or live in Ascot, Hamilton, Clayfield, Albion and so on.

Instant favourite. Best coffee I have had in a very very long time. Food is very tasty, and well priced. Great ambiance, well presented, friendly staff.
FYI - Try the bagel, soooo good.
