Only been to Taro once but I definitely want to go back. Their ramen is very nice and flavourful with a good amount of meat and seasonings. Broth had a nice flavour too.
I have found this restaurant chain to be authentic Japanese Ramen. Meals always good. I had one issue there once and Taro himself gave me a $30 voucher to compensate. Solid Japanese cuisine and work ethic.
Usually frequented taro's express in the city so im well aware how good it is. Definitely one of the best ramen in Brisbane. Would recommend!
Stumbled across this place and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their Ramen dish. I ordered a side of chicken karage it was simply amazing! Tender on the inside and nice crispy on the outside. The ramen soup was delicious and the noodle itself was nice and bouncy. I can’t fault any of the dishes that I had. I went there on a weeknight and it was still full even though the surrounding shops were mostly closed by then.
Fully recommend this place if you are in the mood for some quality ramen. 🍜
Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Taro’s before!! Nothing compares to Taro’s unique flavour - soooo flavoursome, perfect ramen every time. This particular venue is also my favourite of all Taro’s - it’s always busy but so worth it when you get to sit outside on a cool night! 🙌
Highly recommend for ramen on a cold night! The best I’ve tasted in brisbane so far. Especially the pork flavoured ramen, the thin straight noodles is made fresh in-house and is so chewy and yummy. The pork soup is thick creamy and salty, the best combo with the noodles. Excellent customer service, waiters always come with a smile. Also, no MSG used in the soup! Good place to come with your date or your friends :)
At first we were not sure, but we had an idea of what it might be like. Exceeded our expectations! The ordering was fun and easy, the delivery of drinks and food was fast and the meals were hot and delicious. The 3 of us shared everything we ate. My only complaint, if you can’t eat seafood in your noodles there was not very many alternatives. We did the veggie noodles, but is was not a soup... that’s what we were really looking forward to.
Note: BYO is available and that is a plus!
WARNING to those who are unfamiliar with the area! Don’t park your cars in the small complex across from Taros!!!
My partner and I usually go to the Taro’s in the city but decided to drive a bit further down to Ascot. This was our first time in that area so we decided to park in the small complex where the kebab shop is. BIG MISTAKE!! After walking back from getting cash out (approx 15 minutes) OUR CAR WAS TOWED!! And had to pocket out $450 to get our car back...plus no ramen!!
However, despite our night being ruined we did come back for ramen a couple days later (making sure to park in Taro’s carpark this time). The usual friendly service and yummy fresh ramen you would expect at any Taro’s restaurant! We also noticed warning signed inside the restaurant warning patrons about the towing which we wished we saw earlier 😂😂
