Absolutely the BEST steakhouse in Australia! If you want a delicious meal prepared and served by excellent staff then you should definitely visit Outback Steakhouse! The quality of food is superb, the pina colidas are out of this world and the desserts are to die for! Outback is and will always be my all time favourite restaurant! Best food you ever tasted! <3
Love this place. Never had a bad experience here. Great food. Great service. My steak was perfect. My husband had a burger which he said was awesome. Blooming onions are the best!! Love the sangrias!! And we were there for happy hour which made them even better.
Our server was super attentive, she dropped by heaps to ask if we wanted more drinks and to enquire about the quality of the food. We eat out a lot (not here), and I'm very used to being ignored once we've placed our order. We watched her deal with these really difficult customers so eloquently (who then stole a few of your really big beer mugs) the service was, for sure, a highlight, best service I've recieved in a very long time in a restaurant.
I was impressed with the friendly staff members and great tasting food. I highly recommend it.
Great food and service. Kaitlin did an amazing job with friendly service and a good attitude. Highly recommend it and will definitely go back.
Had a delicious dinner at Aspley. Staff friendly and informative. Main course a good size, came with salad, and potato, AND a bonus little loaf of honey wheat bread. All the very delicious.
No waiting.
Loved the dessert 'to go', and having to put it together when we got home!
Would definitely recommend, and go again.
Breakfast is awesome!! Delicious and would recommend to anyone. The coffee was great too!
Best napkins ever!!!! When you casually stroll to somewhere that delivers a extraordinary steak, the last thing you want is to wipe your chops clean of sauce and have you napkin tear!! Leaving you stranded and hunting down tables of other peoples napkins!
Thankyou for the service and your massive beers!
Cheers cobba
Went there last night and the food was amazing and the service was spot on couldn't fault the food was very tasty and quantity was good value for money
Superb Steak and quality service. I would definitely recommend a visit for dinner.
Thank you was amazing not many places a girl can go and have ribs and wings we have decided every 2 weeks dinner in the outback whoooo delish
Amazing food and service truly well worth visiting.
amazing place... amazing food.... amazing staff...
Best Buffalo Wings in Brisbane, friendly staff and exellent customer service!
Always have had great service and meal selection. Love the Razorback Ribs and will be back again.
There is really not much to say.
Service - top notch
Food - excellent
Beer - cold.
Top night out.
great food. exceptional service with a really great family atmosphere. Love the big cold beer and bloomin onions!!!
I have been many times and had a great time on all visits.
Best lunch I've had in a long time! Loved the lunch half rack of beef ribs and loaded potato! Had the dessert sampler...this was like 3 full sized desserts for $20! We rolled out of there! 🤣👍 Spent $70 for 2 ppl...def worth it!
Very nice steak cooked to perfection
They have a good range of children’s meals as well
There’s a lot of room for parking
The staff are very friendly
Will definitely go back
I didn’t know about this place until I saw the same chain in Japan. I enjoyed it there, so I decided to see if it exists in Brisbane. The service is as good as I remembered in Tokyo. The food here is a mix between good and ok. But always get several orders of the blooming onions. These just disappear in a blink of an eye when you are with people.
Love this place, steaks are always tender and the potato soup sounds boring but is absolutely delish. The service is always friendly and we love the dessert selection. My only grievance is that the steaks do not come with vegetables or salad, just chips. You can order them separately though
The ribs and Burgers are always great. The Service is good 90% of the time depending on the waitstaff we get. Can't really go wrong with unlimited soft drink refills either.
My favourite go to restaurant in New Jersey and couldn't wait to try them out in Brisbane. Went out with the FAMBAM and friends. Cocktails were amazing, husband loved the Victoria's Filet. I had the rack of Lamb which was cooked just the way I like it. Wish you had the clam chowder. Maybe something to think about. Been here twice and enjoyed both nights. See you soon.
Loved the venue, its atmosphere and lovely staff. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience though we thought our dinner was overpriced.
We tried Blackberry Sangria as an aperitif; it was just the right flavours for our appetite. The crispy calamari was followed as an entree; light and crunchy but the calamari came out with too unwavering a thin crackly coating. For a main, we shared Alice Chicken and Pork Ribs. The chicken was not too bad and the ribs were amazing!
The great Steak out for superiority is always a fight worth investigating, and with the Hogs Breath just a stones throw away from the Outback SteakHouse, Aspley sure isn't short of cow cuisine...
There's a whole range of Steaks, from the standard, super huge, 250g Sirloin for $28 (or its bigger 340g twin for $35) right through to T-Bone, Rib Eye, Chargrilled, Herb Crusted and Peppercorn crusted.
Focusing on the belly busting standard Sirloin steak, it's a good value package, throwing in two choices of homemade soup - I picked onion rather than potato - and a side, including salad, chips or coleslaw.
Better still - and something I rarely see at other Steak places - there is a menu detailing the types of Steak and how they are cooked, which takes the guesswork out of things and reduces wrong orders. I can testify that the 'Steak on ma plate' looked true to the one in the picture, too.
So, any good? Well, the soup was scrumdiddlyumpcious. In English and not Roald Dahl, that's creamy, flavoursome and full of mega melting mozzarella!
To the main event, and the steak was big and tasty, only suffering from the usual gristle. The chips smashed it, amazing with the overpriced but nevertheless outstanding mushroom and peppercorn sauce ($2.75 each).
Service was strong and prompt, there's good glassed water with ice and straws, big tele's with live sport and plenty of seats for all.
Only downsides were I nearly got locked in the disabled toilets (thanks to a dodgy catch) and the waitress with two faces, who served us well but did nothing but mutter every time she walked away. Maybe a busy Saturday night and stressed, but unreasonably rude nevertheless. For that reason, points docked. This distastefulness was not representative of the other staff, and overall Outback Steakhouse is a 'must visit' place.
Great food and quick service. Slightly pricey, but not completely out of the realm of reasonable given the large portions and excellent customer service. The sangria is exceptional!
We have been coming here occassionally for a few years. This time I had the Prawns and Filet. This was exceptionally good.YUM. My husband enjoys the ribs. However the Tbone was a bit overcooked for a medium well done. A bit too much well done. Great service as they rectified this.
Great customer service from a beautiful waitress named Felicia! She was so knowledgeable & gave my table of 7 her opinion on the best food to order & she was right! The food was amazing & steak cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.

An American, Australian-themed, steakhouse in Queensland...you can't make this stuff up. I find it ironic that Outback came to Australia, but I can't find any fault with the wonderful food. I used to enjoy their steaks and baked potatoes in the US (you'll sometimes have to wait for 1-2 hours to get seated) and found their 'Outback Special' 340g signature sirloin to be just as tasty here. Nice to have the option of a loaded baked potato as well. I guarantee their steaks would compete favorably with QLD's best steakhouses in a blind taste test. Definitely recommend.
Ok not sold on these American style restaurants, the pomp and the front and show. Well folks like porky pig said .........that is all, welcome to the steakhouse in Aspley.
The joint is packed, like its the locals town secret. Welcomed then welcomed again, then seated, drinks came swiftly and there is no song and dance like hog breaths where you can wait 20min for a drink.
We ordered an entree of calamari "very suburban" but also delicious with the dipping sauces. Mouth watering when hungry cooked to suit.
Then we ordered our steaks both came as ordered delicious and mouth watering. We did get some problems here, missed on mustard and Diane sauce at delivery, this was quickly rectified with a smile. All in all great service and atmosphere, the food was above expectations and I will return for s meal.
Well again we came back! Again awesome and have no complaints. Just the waiting to get a table to eat. Lol 😂
Aspley Outback Steakhouse offers great customer service and most the time as requested, the meat is cooked the way I like it. I love the bushies - they are my favourite. We come here quite often but not as often as we like as it can be a little pricey!
Thank you staff at Outback for the best night.
Just like home... Have eaten at Outback in NY/NJ and have to say from the drinks to the food, same quality as the U.S. I have been here for two years and it is the best restaurant I have attended. from the service to the drinks to the food everything was perfect. Even the waitress was AMAZING, she was on point always asking us if we were okay.
I also received a complimentary dessert, because if was my birthday. I have been to many restaurants and I have never heard of any restaurant giving anything FREE.
Thank you for a great night .
It's funny that Outback is an Australian themed chain overseas, because my partner and I primarily go there since it reminds us of the food we had in the U.S. Little things which are commonplace in the U.S. like the free soda refills brought to you when you finish a glass and fries that are cut with the skin still on the potatoes (adds a little extra flavour, I wish more places in Australia did this). The chookaburra wings are an excellent starter, and the burgers are always great, with the buns are lightly toasted and the meat always perfect, never over or under done. The choose your own toppings "no rules burger" is perfect for the fussy eater or burger connoisseur. The ribs are soft and fall off the bone as you bite them, and their delicious barbecue sauce is applied generously. The chocolate thunder dessert is also a must if you've saved room for it. The brownie is soft and rich, and the soft, creamy vanilla ice cream compliments it perfectly. Definitely of my favourite restaurants in Brisbane
I have been here about 4 times in the last 2 months, love the Alice Springs chicken and the soup is to die for. They are open late too which works well for me working is hospitality. Meal portions are quite large and the desserts are heavenly. Customer service is great and we love the fact that you get free refills on your soft drinks which makes it a bit more cost effective.
Great restaurant. The building is nice, the food is very good quality and it tastes great.
Great great great. Absolutely delicious, I go every week and will of course continue to go
Great, consistent food and service. Great and very consistent food and service.
Love the free re-fills and large serving sizes. A bit more expensive than some, but definitely worth it!
I ordered the Victorian fillet. Must say it is the nicest steak I have had for a while. Very tender and cooked perfectly. Comes with a salad and a choice of sides, both of which were nice. Others on my table ordered the ribs and were very satisfied. Service is fine. Would definitely eat there again.
Yum. I think its a bit weird that this place doesn't take reservations unless you are in a big group and we ended up having to wait for about 45 mins in the very crowded bar.
Why not just take reservations?
That aside, it was a very pleasant meal. After waiting in the bar, we were delighted that our little buzzer went off, letting us know it was our turn to be seated. Unfortunately we were seated right back where we started - in the bar. That wasn't ideal as it was loud and sitting on a tall stool to eat isn't my idea of comfort.
The kitchen was running slow so we had to wait for our food to come and were offered some bread to tide us over. I ordered a side salad with my main, which curiously came about 20 mins before the main meal.
Apart from the quite bad organisation, the food was really good. I had the VIctoria Steak, fries and a side salad. All were just delicious and even though i was stuffed I couldn't leave it alone and almost cleaned my plate.
My partner had the Alice Spring chicken which he also really enjoyed.
The wine comes serves in these little decanters which you then pour in your own glass - my partner joked that it probably meant it was watered down and im not entirely sure they don't.
When the bill came, i was quite impressed that the whole lot only came to $60+.
I would definitely go again, but don't go on a Saturday night unless you like waiting. I did notice however that after 8pm it cleared out a lot, so either go late or go on another day. I'm looking forward to going back on a week night
We went here for my husbands birthday a few weeks ago, we used to live in Florida so had been to outback over there, we enjoyed this experience, the ribs were to die for, which was the main reason we went, everyone left happy...the owner was very friendly and the staff were awesome
Love it!. I have eaten here on three different occasions, and the food and service are always exceptional =) Great environment and my friends loved the place too! Be warned at peak times it gets busy!
Key points: Go earlier (5pm) to avoid a long wait. When ordering, remember it's a steakhouse - stick to the steaks and burgers it's what they're best at! Entrée Bloomin' Onion and Cheesy Chips easily feed 2 - 4! Side dishes are big enough to share 2 - 4. Soft drinks are free refills. Complimentary chilled water as standard. Tipping has never been pushed on me but it is their culture. I probably won't order seafood item's again, they taste great but their meals are filling and seafood always tastes better at seafood restaurants.
Today I went for a late lunch (3ish) and it was almost empty but as always great atmosphere. I ordered the Chargrilled Steak Sandwich (served with a side of sliced beetroot and chips) on Turkish $19.95 and washed it down with Cherry Lemonade packed with cherry's and limes! Delish! Worth the $!
August 2013 a friend and I came for dinner around 5pm on a Saturday to beat the crowd, it worked, we walked straight in and within' 30mins the placed was packed and line at the front door thick with customers. Our experience was wonderful. Entrée: Cheese Chips and Grilled Scallops & Prawns. Main: Victoria’s Filet and salad with the BBQ Mushrooms and Dressed Jacket Potato sides. Complimentary honey wheat bread and butter. We drank cider and soft drink. Total bill was $100. We barely finished our cheesy chips and main meals. I'm in love with the mushrooms!
May 2013. I went with 3 burly blokes on a Tuesday night. It was busy but no waiting. We had the chilled water and soft drink. Entrée: Bloomin' Onion (almost finished it). Main: Cowboy Cut Ribeye with Mash / One Grilled Lobster Tail and garlic butter sauce (me) = perfection and waaaay to big for me to finish. Them: Mixed Rib Platter and Mash, The Nullarbor T-Bone and Mash, The Big Bugga and Chips. Dessert: 2x Chocolate Thunder shared. We sat for 20mins letting everything digest - we could barely move!
OUTBACK - Aspley. My family (2 adults & 4 children) had an amazing family meal at Outback Aspley. We went on a Wednesday night and had no waiting went straight to a table. You can pre-book. The customer services by our waiter (Aaron) and all the staff was terrific and faultless. The children were treated as well as the adults. The children had free-refill soft drinks and the waiter would notice they were getting low in their glass and bring re-fill before we even had to ask. The food is large tasty meals, no room for dessert for us. The environment, friendly atmosphere, amazing customer service make me want to tell everyone I recommend they visit. We will be back as soon as possible
We went with friends last night, service was to notch, all meals delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable night.
Spot on for steak. Imperative to make a booking for a Saturday night as they are very busy, however we got there 30 mins earlier than our booking and no sooner had we been served at the bar before our beeper went off like we were the chosen ones. Atmosphere was good and the decor I would describe as warehouse rustic.
Being our first time, the waitress was quite thorough with her explanation of how it all "works" and was friendly. Another lady, in a different uniform, attended to our table at one point and seemed like a drone with no personable quality.
The blooming onion entree was riddled with oil & if you ate too much you'd leave with heartburn. The mains were on the tad expensive side considering the accompanying salad was ordinary and the sides inconsistent (admittedly the sweet potato with honey cinnamon butter was tasty). To their credit the meat was cooked to specification which is ultimately what you want from a steakhouse. The herb crusted steak definitely could have used more herb crust as it was extremely flavorful. Dessert was an over-indulgent, overly-generous portion of brownie & ice cream which is best shared among your guests rather than trying to devour on your own.
Overall a good night out with average sides & great steak . A decent alternative to Hogs Breath.
Went for dinner last night everything was great from the service to the food was large and delicious. The restaurant was buzzing it was so full and yet great service. Thanks we will be back.
As good if not better then Lone Star. Had Mother's Day lunch here today. Despite having made a booking which wasn't recorded because bookings of less then 7 aren't accepted (if that's what I understood the heavily accented person who answered the call), a table was available regardless. Lots of staff on which was understandable for such a busy day. Our server, Emma, was a delight and our meals and drinks arrived promptly. The servings are very generous but I agree, it's a bit pricey compared to Lone Star prices previously. Everything was delicious though - fish of the day, grilled chicken salad and huge T-bone cooked perfectly. Save room for the Chocolate Thunder dessert which was sublime. Overall a great experience and will definitely return.
Great food, great service, recommend the onion bloom, rib and chicken combo, and of course the strawberry and peach sangria!!!
We got take away having never dined in and found it fantastic. The service was brilliant despite young staff still finding their feet and an extremely busy Friday night. The food was to die for and the servings were ample. Will be dining in soon!
Great food and friendly staff. I was part of a party of four and we were all impressed with the Outback Steakhouse. The service was more like what I would expect in America (friendly and attentive). We all had ribs and they were delicious, between us we tried all three rib options and of the three I recommend the Beef Ribs.
Fantastic service and really great food. Meals were really big and so tasty. I definitely recommend you try it out.
Great food, don't bother with reservations. I called up and booked a table for 8 people at 8pm. Got there and they had no tables for us because they lost the reservation sheet. Finally were seated almost an hour later and after a bit of an argument with one of the staff about poor management we received two complimentary entrees which were mediocre in taste. Our main meals finall came out after almost two hours since we first arrived at the restaurant. Food was presented beautifully and was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meals but it definitely wasn't worth the 2hr wait. We were too full to order dessert! Our waitress Caitlin was great! So pleasant and attentive and chatty. We will be back for the food but won't bother with a reservation since they accept walk-ins even if you reserve. Restaurant itself is really nice and pretty inside. Tip- the blooming onion looks great but it's very strong in taste and about half cooked so if you like eating raw onion it's a good thing. Soft drinks have free refills too!
Was absolutely blown away by the great customer service. As soon as we walked in the door we were amazed at how beautiful and fancy the place looked. We didnt wait long at all before we were given our menus and drink list. Received the entrees within 10 minutes! Blooming onion rings and the garlic loaf. Ordered mains and they came out in a timely manner. 10-15 min max! Cannot recommend this place enough. I think we have found our new takeaway place! Was excellent priced too for a family of four! Well done and thank you for bringing an amazing steakhouse to north brisbane.... AMAZING
Best Food Ever. After going to the Outback Steakhouse in the coke bottle in Vegas on the strip, when we heard that they were coming to Brisbane we thought we should check it out.
We heard that it's better if you call in advance to book a spot, so we did that a few days in advance. First impression was really good, they have a greeter at the door who welcomes you and tells you who to see at the register/front desk. We were told we'd have a 5-10 minute wait, they offered us the waiting room or bar, and told us we could order a drink or an appetiser or look at the menu. They already have the drinks & dessert menu in the waiting area so we perused that first before asking for the main meal menu.
When your pager goes off, you walk back to the register and the staff there will walk you through to your table. All the staff are really lovely, and incredibly attentive. We got given complimentary water to start with, and were updated on how far away our drinks were after we'd ordered them. We got our drinks very quickly, and then proceeded to order our appetiser Bushman's Garlic Loaf which is a honey wheat loaf with garlic butter, parmesan & herbs. We got a slice each with a tomato based salsa type sauce to dip it into which was delicious.
We waited a little bit for our food, we weren't really paying attention to the time as we weren't in any hurry, and next minute we have a senior staffer tell us that our hostess hadn't actually put our mains order through when we gave it to her and they were getting our meals cooked in the kitchen quick smart. Neither of us minded because we had nowhere to be. They were grateful that we took it so well. We got a complimentary bread from them (we are assuming we got it for the mixup with our mains), and our mains arrived shortly after and they apologised again for the mixup.
I had the Big Bugga which is a beef burger with bacon, egg, cheese, beetroot, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion & Outback's special BBQ sauce. I ordered it without onion (which they got exactly right). My husband ordered the Victoria's Fillet (10 oz/285 gram) steak with blue cheese crumb crown. I got chips with my burger, and hubby got chips & a cesar salad with his. The cesar salad dressing was a bit spicier than i'm used to but otherwise lovely with huge croutons.
Hubby had a lemon lime & bitters, and I had the Sydney's Cosmo which is Absolut Vodka, Cointreau, a splash of cranberry juice and a twist of fresh lime. It was lovely, a bit stronger than I'm used to though.
Because of the main meal mixup the staff were falling over themselves to please us, and we assured them everything was fine. We now have 2 deals to get a free Bloomin' Onion appetiser. It's pretty much a huge plate of deep fried onion with their signature spicy bloom sauce.
We were so full we just couldn't force ourselves to eat dessert (all the dessert options look delicious!). As we left, the staff at the door opened the door for us and asked us how our night was, and said what we ordered sounded delicious, and when I told them I made it 3/4's of the way through my burger they gave me a high 5 and all the staff wished us a good night.
We will definitely be back as it is the best service I have experienced in all of Australia. They also have a take-away option which we might try sometime.

Went here for brunch, quiet and chill atmosphere 7/10, waiters and servers (customer service) 7.5/10, we had the Tommy with potatoes Med rare 6.5-7/10, overall- not the best Tomahawk steak I've had esp at such a price. We had a good time anyway, thanks Aspley team!
Love this place. Love the outback inspired design. The food is expensive but is worth it as the food tastes amazing and generous portion sizes as well, I can never eat everything so I appreciate that I can get a takeaway box to take my food home. I've never had any issues with the food or staff. I highly recommend the bloomin onion, Alice Springs chicken and ribs combo, chocolate thunder. Tastiest food I have ever eaten.
Had an absolute blast at this place. My first time ever coming to an outback steakhouse and I couldn't have enjoyed it enough, especially with the help of the server named Monique. She was so friendly and felt extremely easy to talk to, very pleasant experience with her.
The food was absolutely delicious and I am definitely coming back here again.
I loved the spooky set up with Halloween slowly creeping up and how clean the place was. Definitely recommend coming here and enjoying a good night out for dinner.
We have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a very long time, mostly due to my husband being American and craving a Bloomin Onion. It was well worth the long journey (almost 50kms) and expense.
So the not so great things first.
1. We were celebrating a birthday but not offered the birthday brownie which was a bit disappointing. Didn't ruin the night but still a little sad. I'm not sure how it really works but when we booked it asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I said yes, assuming they'd ask if we wanted the brownie. If we come again I'll just ask next time.
2. The young guy that took our drinks order. Now I'm not sure if he was having a bad night, sorry if you were, but he was very abrupt and not very personable. It might have just been us though because the table behind us were told the cocktail special and where the drinks menu was but we were not. Possibly about 5-8 minutes after being sat that we were asked what drinks we wanted.
3. The Bloomin onion is small for the price. Delicious but small. When you've had the Texas Roadhouse version and then compare it to ours... It was just small. After all it's just a fried onion and it's comparable in price to the fried shrimp which is odd.
4. The 'Fresh sides' five potato options and one seasonal vege. No salads or corn or any other option which was super odd. When you get to pick two it's weird to have so many choices of the one vegetable. I mean we like potatoes but we don't want two different versions of potato.
5. The website menu. It is outdated. We had been looking forward to sharing a sirloin steak but it wasn't available anymore. It's okay though we enjoyed our meal but maybe remove it from your website?
Now the good stuff...
1. Our food server. She also checked us out when we left and we enquired with another team member what her name was and she told us it was Paisley. She's fantastic. Looked a little stressed but she was running around doing everything. She checked on us several times which is almost unheard of in Australian restaurants and that was greatly appreciated.
2. The food. Other than the weird lack of side options we were extremely impressed with our food. We always have such bad luck with steak (at other places) but they were seasoned beautifully and cooked exactly how we asked. There was a slight size discrepancy between the two steaks which probably would have gone unnoticed if we hadn't ordered the same cut but we've worked in the meat industry before so we understand that not every strip is going to be exactly the same.
3. The drinks were good sizes and the table water was free which is a plus. The appletini was lovely and perfectly made. Credit to your bartender.
4. The decor although a bit worn and dirty in places was keeping on theme for a steakhouse and the seats were comfortable and the table and cutlery clean and in working order.
Had an absolutely lovely meal. Enjoyed a nice chat with the Chef that came out to see we were happy with our meals. Always nice to know they care a take a moment out of their busy night to get some feedback.
We absolutely loved Outback Steakhouse. The food was sooo delicious, especially the steak sandwich. The birthday boy was surprised with an amazing free birthday brownie dessert!!! Our waitress, Pais was wonderful. Thank you for a memorable night out.
Took a while to get out of the kitchen. Had a few side dishes missing and chips were a tad cold. But staff were very apologetic and sincere. Otherwise the steak was great. Cooked as requested.
These folks just know how to BBQ and serve the food perfectly! The environment, staff, food and overall vibe of this place is magical! If you appreciate your steaks and want to indulge yourself, definitely pay it a visit!
