The Boat Shed has easy online booking for
lunch or dinner 7 days a week. The staff are
professional and efficient. Mainly a steak
house, there are non-steak options on the
menu, as well as GF and DF options. The
food is delicious with good portions. An
expansive drinks menu to accompany your
meals. Facilities on the premises and parking
available. A popular venue, with good reason.

The lounging bar is amazing, such a chilled out way to CHILL OUT. Burgers top notch. Sundays live band does requests and a lot of fun is had! Try it out. Actually don't. Wanna keep this as my own clubhouse ;)

With a U K friend in tow, we went for a drink in the late arvo at the Main Bar, and stayed for a meal. I had beer-battered barramundi and chips with salad, the friend had a steak sandwich, and hubby had a beef burger. He said the meat patty was cooked well, and the additions were really enjoyable - the right amount of gherkins, etc. The chips were chips â fine, tasty, the usual. My fish was wonderful â juicy and tender, with crispy not-too-thick batter. The salad was fresh, with a tangy dressing. The burger and sandwich (with chips) went down well. Servings are very generous, and we managed to scoff them down âcos we were hungry little diners. We drank Prosecco, and a G&T, and a soft drink. Staff were pleasant (our UK friend said she missed the friendly Aussie waitering-style now she lives overseas.), and food came out promptly. Even for a Monday night, this place was fairly busy. We all enjoyed the meals and drinks, and the respite from the dayâs endeavours. There are several bars, and a cafĂ© and a restaurant here. Much more for us to explore on another night.

Boatshed in Regatta Hotel is one of my favourite places for steaks. Open kitchen gives customers a bit more impression on their food quality. Staff serves customers in a professional manner and food is presented on a well organised plating. Steaks I and my wife ordered were absolutely amazing. The side dish 'Roasted cauliflower' was fantastic. Nothing to comment negatively...
Only it's a bit of $$$.
I wish there is a list of lunch menu in Boatshed then I can visit more often

Beautiful food prepared with love and attention to detail. Outstanding draft beers, delicious cocktails and an excellent wine selection. The market fish is exquisite with beautiful little potatoes and a delicious green salsa. If you want a fantastic steak accompanied with a cold draft beer or favourite red this is the place. The steaks are extraordinary and glide like butter! The chef fiercely guards your steak and is protective to grill it perfectly. I got him to smile though đ
The sides including the veg are fresh and tasty and the salads are consistently crisp and fabulous to have as a starter. The oysters are beautiful. The waiters and staff are brilliant with fantastic service and will check on you to make sure you are not waiting on a drink. The Boatshed is perfect for a lazy long lunch, special occasions and date nights. Book early as it gets very busy. My only sadness here is that we really miss the sublime lime cheesecake as itâs no longer on the menu. They could do with a rhubarb crumble and offer a couple options to include less sweet desserts:)

Arrive by ferry & this was my first visit to Regatta Hotel on Saturday 04/09/21 visiting from Cairns. The Hotel looks beautiful with it's charm character & heritage, even though I only had time for one cup of Cappuccino I could have easily sat outside all day, with its relaxed friendly atmosphere & only a 10 min walk to Toowong Village.

The food was absolutely delicious and divine.
A little bit pricey but it's a nice place for a date and special occasions.

i wouldnt go back to the regatta if you paid me on the radio they were advertising the barbecue pit masters as free entry when you try to go in they hit you up for money. when i rang them about it they reckon the radio has it all wrong false advertising

I attempted to visit the Regatta Hotel a few weeks ago for a late afternoon drink with a friend. Upon arrival however, we were refused entry due to my friends shoes. He was wearing leather sandals, similar to my own. I noted that I was wearing similar shoes, and I too was denied entry. I also noted multiple people (women) sitting just inside wearing the same style of shoe, and yet this was ignored, which I found very sexist. My friend and I recently moved into an apartment 200m down the road from the Regatta, and we were both looking forward to having a pub we could visit during the week and on weekends to enjoy a casual drink at. It seems though that this venue is more of a club than a bar. Wouldnât recommend this venue for drinks unless for a dressed up type of occasion.

I would have to agree with the previous reviewers at the start. What has changed my mind, was when Michael the waiter came over seeing us under duress, he took charge of our table, with great selections of entrees and mains. He had a great knowledge of wines, and helped us make some great choices. Well known for its steak, the table was more then happy with there selections and how they were cooked. Hats off to the chiefs, every piece of meat came out as ordered. I could only complain that on several occasions the drinks ordered were slow and sometimes even wrong. This was quickly fixed when bought to Michaels attention. There is a few service issues and even easily fixed mistakes that must come down to communication issues. I still would come back and have a meal, I would love to give it better than 3.5 stars as I think the chiefs deserve it.

Awful staff that detract from a fabulous venue. Food v good, but why bother paying premium prices when staff are rude. There are plenty of other better managed pubs

Pretty old pub with a refreshing river breeze but that's about it. Small craft beer list, indifferent service and very average pub grub. Nice place to cool off but is the Brisbane sweat is getting too much.

Where to begin....the staff were friendly and she got a parking spot. That's the good side. The team went for lunch and as one of a few vegetarians high hopes were held. There was only one vegetarian entree option and no mains options. The ente portion was am embarrassment to the venue. 3 tiny lettuce leaves holding smoked eggplant the size of a tablespoon if that! Seriously that was all that was on offer for the outrageous price of $15! When this was discussed with waitstaff the response was"do you want something else". The side dishes looked slightly more substantial in size and cheaper in price. But that wasn't obvious when ordering. If that was known them that would have been the order.

Go there for the friendly staff and parking options but the rest of it like the food just forget it! Disappointing for a Brisbane landmark. Do better please vegetarian and vegan isn't hard!

Generally I like this place. It's very clean especially the ladies bathroom. We had breakfast here recently. It was ok. They didn't bring any milk for the muesli and it was super dry. At the end I had to ask them to bring milk for us. They apologized for forgetting that.
