Great food, good service. Not a cheap meal but tapas never is. Good food and drinks menu. Standout dish would be the scallops then the crispy pork. Easy location as these free parking for 2 hours downstairs.

Peasant Restaurant was fabulous in regards to Location, ambience and environment!! And mostly Food was delicious with well presentation and balanced flavours. -> Entree’s - Lamb shoulders & potato empanadas - the outer dough was really perfectly made and the inner part was nice & juicy with great flavours. 5/5 -> Mains 1 - This dish was “THE BOMB”. Beef cheek with Cauliflower purée & a PX reduction - The beef was really amazing (super tenderness with devious flavours) - Cauliflower purée was perfect with creamy texture and it just melts in your mouth! Size of the dish was generous as well!! Highly recommend dish !!! 5/5 -> Mains 2 - Sous Vede Chicken breast with smoked paprika, sofrido and tapenade - The chicken breast was perfectly cooked !!! The flavours were a bit too sour, and I didn’t get any Paprika flavour at all. I felt like I was having chicken with a LOT of SALSA and Olives!! 3/5 - Would not recommend this dish!! The team were great and they advised with some great suggestions!! Would definitely be back to try other Food on the menu!!

We dined here for my sisters birthday and ordered the $50 banquet. I wasn’t too impressed with the food which was seemed pretty options with the pork belly, chorizo and meatballs. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working so my dad had to keep leaving the table for fresh air. My favourite dish would be the meatballs but disappointed to hear we couldn’t take the leftover ones home with us.

Delicious tapas and great beverage options. Quiet quaint setting on a Sunday afternoon but it was absolutely lovely. And the staff was great in suggesting tapas and provided great service all around.

Enjoyable meal and friendly service - but very hot and humid outside in the rear seating area. There was no natural airflow here and the two fans did absolutely nothing unless you were directly seated underneath (which was not possible as it was a walkway). Some side mounted oscillating fans or misters would be a worthwhile investment for this area - as it's never fun eating when everyone is dripping with sweat and your arm sticks to the table :-/

We happened to pass by and decided to dine at this restaurnt upon the suggestion of the staff who provided some recommendations and suggestions. Had some sharing plates. Atmosphere here is cozy and lovely.

We got lucky and were able to score an unreserved table in a game night. The waitress assigned to us was incredibly helpful when it came to how best to order, as we were unfamilliar with style of menu. She was also a wonderful person to talk to, and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had a wonderful time. The food was superb, and more than adequate for the two of us. The wine menu is superb. There will definitely be repeat visits, as I wish to try out the banquet!
