Amazing coffee and food. Love the featured rainbow coffee, and the fried chicken waffles is just on point. Great place for brunch and catch up with friends!!

A really good cafe, great variety of creative food and friendly staff. Would absolutely go again, I want to try so many things on their menu. Staff is very friendly. Parking easily available. Scan the code to get their menu on your phone, they have limited printout menus. The drinks menu look incredible!

Staff are amazing and always provide professional, polite and diligent service, making sure your meal is to your liking and you have enough water. The food its self is banana's good. In the few times I've been, I've never had bad food. The Popcorn Chicken Waffles are amazing, as is the pancake stacks. The fruit smoothie/blends always taste amazing with the meals. The rainbow Coffee's are delightful and a good little treat. Also being a dog friendly Cafe you get to enjoy your meal with some real cuties. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would give it 10 stars if I could.

Rainbow latte is very special and good for taking photos. All stuffs are friendly and nice, but the food is too Oily for me :( In general, everything is good.

When we arrived we were greeted with happy smiles and good manners, unfortunately that's where the good ends and the bad starts. After we had ordered the coffee came out fairly quick, however the rest of the drinks weren't put on the order by the staff, along with that the health bowl came out at the same time as the coffee. Yet the rest of the food took between 30-45 minutes to arrive. After we had almost finished eating we were asked four times by two separate staff members if we had finished and would like our table to be cleaned whilst we were still eating. There was a huge lack of communication within the facility that needs to be sorted as we watched almost all the food go around every table asking if they had ordered it or not, we were interrupted constantly because of this as we were trying to eat. Great way to ruin a 28th morning breakfast brunch

Great food. Good price. Coffee was a clear winner. I got the Piggy Bene with Avo. Was delicious. I’ll happily return.

Do I need to piggyback you here?

Because WOW!

Piggy Back Cafe has an ethos of making the day more colourful and brighter… and if you know me, I think you know that I cannot agree with that more! 🌈

This month has been massively challenging and it has been hard to see a rainbow some days (because it has been literally work work work 😂). But you know what? There is always one there and it’s always about mindset, showing up and being kinder to yourself.

Did you know that the rainbow is an optical phenomenon, where light refracts from raindrops and creates those beautiful multi colours that you see? And no there is no physical structure to the rainbow besides the light and the raindrops though. So… is it not really after all?

Well, I like to believe they are. They are a real optical phenomenon.

And was my the start of rainbow right here on a very fine Saturday morning! 🥳

The place is located at Jindalee, which is about 10-20 minutes away from Brisbane CBD and it is definitely worth the drive! I don’t know much about the area but I have to say that just to go to the cafe by itself, it is completely worth it! And once you see what’s coming you will definitely thank your past self for making that call 😂

They have outdoor seating and indoor and the whole theme is related with cute little piggies. The whole place is full of energy and with those happy vibes that you can find at those amazing cafes where you love to hang out and just stay for hours chatting and hanging out! We decided to stay outside for the pictures as obviously the lighting would be better but honestly I would love to eat indoors too because the walls are so thematically decorated and incredible!

Here’s what we had:
- Red Velvet Raspberry Pancakes - Beautiful presentation and possibly one of the most Instagram meals that they have (although all of them are pretty outstanding!). The portion seemed fair and filling and unfortunately I couldn’t try it due to the dairy content but my friend absolutely loved it! They were 3 layer red bright colour pancakes, soft and moist, with lemon curd, vanilla mascarpone and raspberry cashew butter! They add some flowers and make it so artistic that it’s impossible not to fall in love. It also came drizzled with thyme infused maple syrup and I wished they made a vegan/dairy free version! Pleeeeeeease 🙏 I was seriously jealous 😂

- Pineapple Bowl - Actually I went for this meal because I had seen pictures of it being served in an actual pineapple bowl which obviously would have been epic! Unfortunately when he came, it was brought in a normal rounded bowl and not a pineapple as I have seen from the pictures and I was slightly disappointed with the presentation (as one obviously would expect!) of not being a pineapple bowl - although I must highlight and say that the whole presentation even in a normal bowl was absolutely fantastic as you can see from the pictures. They kindly told me they had run out of of pineapples and they weren’t doing it in the actual fruit anymore, which I kindly respected, but still wished it had come in one. Either way, the bowl was beautiful presented and it was a blend of pineapple, coconut, honey & pineapple juice. It came topped with house-made granolas, coconut shavings, seasonal fruits, mixed seeds and passion-fruit pulps and it was great in size and obviously the pictures speak for themselves. I enjoyed the taste but wished it had slightly sweeter as I am a massive sweet tooth, so if you’re like me I would pick the acai one, which I also tried and absolutely loved it! 👇

- Acai Bowl - possibly one of my favourite bowls of the last months and it was not only amazingly blended with Amazonia acai, banana, blueberry, & almond milk, the again the whole size and presentation was unreal 👏😍 it came topped with house-made granolas, coconut shavings, seasonal fruits, mixed seeds and passion-fruit pulps too and if you love smoothie bowls and have a sweet tooth I would definitely recommend it 👏👌 get ready because this is not a small bowl at all and you’ll be feel nourished and plentiful after it 👌 would have it again!

- Dippy Eggs - my friend had this meal and again an applause for the presentation! It came in a egg carton and it was terrific and playful! Absolutely loved it! In terms of the meal itself it consisted of great size halloumi chips, a portion of smashed avocado, some boiled eggs, bacon and a few slices Turkish bread and my friend definitely recommends it too as a savoury option!

- Vegan Bounty - from all the meals we tried I have to say that this was possibly the one that I was most excited about! But unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations at all! The taste was quite bland, not sweet and a bit grainy and I didn’t feel like it tasted like a bounty (with a mix of chocolate and coconut) at all. It has banana, vegan chocolate, coconut and almond milk and I’m not sure which chocolate they use but I think it could be the tricky part and why I wasn’t a huge fan. Nonetheless it came beautifully presented and definitely great serving

- Rainbow Oat Chai Latte - they are famously known for their rainbow lattes and we asked for an oat milk option as I am a huge fan of the minor figures brand! They use Arkadia beverages brand for the colouring and please bear in mind that they do have lactose in it when ordering. I actually didn’t know about it and have some abdominal discomfort with it as I’m dairy intolerant. Taste was great and although I didn’t manage it personally very well, it is definitely a great instagramable shot!

- Charcoal Almond Latte - also decided to give a go at their black coffee! They used almond breeze as the milk and again the Arkadia for the colouring that had again dairy. I would recommend for future costumers to place an indication that the drinks are not dairy free and not vegan. The colour came out great though and it was such an amazing taste that I would definitely recommend if it fits your dietary requirements!
- Neon Soy Latte - lastly with soy milk (happysoybonsoy) my friend had a red neon latte! How cool is this team! Absolutely loved the creativity 👏

Would absolutely recommend paying them a visit and checking them! I would love to come back and try new things from their creative menu and as a friendly recommended I would just add that they should have more vegan meals or vegan option meals, especially when it comes to sweet plate options and not just smooDo I need to piggyback you here?

Because WOW!

Piggy Back Cafe has an ethos of making the day more colourful and brighter… and if you know me, I think you know that I cannot agree with that more! 🌈

This month has been massively challenging and it has been hard to see a rainbow some days (because it has been literally work work work 😂). New owners in 2019 have made this good local Cafe even better. The All Day Breakfast Menu is appetising and there is also a small menu for kids and pups. On arrival we are warmly greeted with smiles all round and shown to our table. Iced water is served promptly.

After our Vietnamese lunch, we are here for coffee and I place my order at the counter. Our Rainbow Lattes soon arrive. The Rainbow Latte Art on hot milk looks beautiful and is accompanied with 2 shots of coffee. Our coffees are hot, aromatic and smooth. I compliment the Barista as we leave. Thank you guys!

With... Phuong Tran

Came here on a Saturday around 1pm. Ordered avocado toast and banana shake. Loved the chai in the shake! I was excited to try the whipped feta. Sadly, it mostly tasted of herbs. Overall, the avo toast was average but the shake was so good that I give the cafe 4 stars. Definitely want to come back and try some of the specialty drinks.

Been here four times, a nice place overall. Zomato considers it one of the ‘Most Insta-Worthy Places’ but the aestheticness of the food varies.

My first two visits the food was delicious and relatively well-presented, except the sloppily-made sliders.

My third visit, I wasn’t very impressed with the taste or presentation. The ice cream on the mango pancakes was half melted when it came to our table.

My fourth visit was great - the new menu tasted and looked amazing. Was an excellent meal.

This place changes its menu pretty often, with some menus being a lot better than others. Overall, a really nice place for insta-worthy food and coffee.

The atmosphere appears very open and cosy. Not just instagram worthy, quality of food and drink was exceptional too. Service was good and staff were all pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.

The food came out extremely quickly, even before our coffees. The breakfast croissant was huge, filling and delicious. The coffee was a bit bitter but so beautiful. Also we sat inside to avoid the heat and it was just as hot inside as outside. The food and service was amazing overall.
Natural Herbivore
Pretty disappointed in this place. We were told that there was quite a few Vegan options here. Sadly we were very disappointed with the menu being changed and there was only two very plain options, there was a third on the menu but it we were told that it was a typo... The service was good but the meal that we both had to get was VERY VERY dry and not much to it as value ($16.90 for a small salad). The coffee wasn't great either. Really won't be going back.

Well I have eaten here before and the food was nice.... this time I only wanted 1 egg and bacon which was ok but I was still going to be charged for the menus item of 2 @ $15!
No thank you , there are several cafes in the area that are as nice and will accomodate my need.

The rainbow latte is a must try ,overall yummy food and worth the trip from Hamilton to jindalee ,best part it’s a pet friendly place and has a menu for pets too

Lately my two-year old has been singing “I can sing a rainbow” in a true two-year-old fashion: repetitively. . After waking up at 1am to “listen with your eyeees, listen with your eyeeees,” I decided enough was enough and worked hard to change our vocal rotation to songs about twinkling little stars, mice running up clocks, highways to hell; anything else.

This is one of my favourite cafes. I love how they change their menu every so often so you never run out of new options to try! The food and coffee are always excellent and the staff are always friendly. The only negative I have it that some menu items are a little pricey for what you receive.

Probably one of the hippest coffee shops I have been too! Their rainbow latte was next level and definitely the prettiest coffee I have ever had. I was just amazed! Their pink panna cotta was super pretty as well and very yummy too! Definitely worth to go there when you are in Brisbane!

Quick service. Had the breakfast burger. Tasted great and I was full after eating. Reasonably priced and good coffee. Rainbow coffee art is impressive. Quiet during midweek

Discovered this café when I had the coffee next door at the Chase the Rider Espresso so particularly made a trip to explore it while I had my brekkie at the King of Cakes of Taringa. Walked in and my gaze was caught by the signage of promo of $5.00 for Birthday Cake and Super-shakes. Obviously, this café has been trading for two years. Loved the high ceiling at the indoor dining area. Vibe was comfortable, particularly with friendly smiles from those young wait-staff. Well, I have the brekkie not long ago, so just ordered a flat white, which was carefully prepared by the barista. Well presented and smoothness was above average. Such good impression really urges me to go back for further exploration on their food menu, so I will be back!

This place is a little bit hard to find if you are unfamiliar with the area as it is a small cafe tucked within Jindalee and there is not much parking available but surprisingly it is still packed full of people. I met up with a colleague over coffee on a Sunday afternoon and heard about their signature rainbow coffee so decided to try it out. Although it was very pretty to look at (that was pretty much all there was to it). I was expecting it to have more flavour (although the shot of double espresso on the side did help) but I felt it was average.

My colleague ordered the strawberry unicorn hot chocolate (very cute idea) but it also lacked in flavour (perhaps because they put too much milk or creme that it overpowered the sweetness of the chocolate). Because it was so busy, I did have to wait quite a bit (about 20 mins) for a seat (for 2 people) and there was still a line of people waiting. Luckily it was just a meet up for coffee so I was in and out within 30mins but I felt that it was just too noisy to have a conversation and it felt a bit rushed (as they close at 3pm).

However, the decorations were nice in blue and white (gave kind of like a relaxing sea vibe) and there was a children’s corner (very kid friendly). The staff and service were average but the price was quite high compared to a standard cup of coffee (which is usually around $4.50). The rainbow coffee was $6 and the unicorn hot chocolate was $7.5 which I personally don’t think is worth it.

Overall, this place would be good for families with children or for people who want to catch up with friends to talk over breakfast or coffee (best to go during the week or early in the morning on a weekend when it is not as crowded).
Stacey Du
Very special and beautiful rainbow coffee! We ordered a strawberry unicorn hot choc as well. Taste all good~ But they close at 3pm.... want to stay longer~~~ overall, nice place!

Piggy Back has been on my hit list for quite some time now & I finally managed it for coffee. I had been impressed by all the colourful pics here on Zomato. The coffee I ordered was a flat white double shot. It was pretty good one too. Good flavor without bitterness & presented well. Also pet friendly so pooch was happy outside near the flower boxes & herbs
Rebecca
Great place for breakfast/lunch/afternoon or morning tea. Rainbow coffee is served here, despite the ridiculous price ($6) the coffee makes for a great instagram and tastes really good. The food is usually really good, however when I ordered the banana bread it was like eating a cube of sugar. Great indoor atmosphere and staff are always very pleasant and attentive.

Decided to visit this place after another recommendation and bring part of the paw paw collective.

Being in Jindalee and a good spot for locals, plenty of parking. Plenty of seating inside and out.

We ordered the breakfast burger, smoked bacon benny, kids pancakes and coffees. Service was friendly, counter service and soon our meals started to arrive. Menu is a little small.

Wife liked the benny, the breakfast burger was good but was a little small on the fillings and so decided to eat some of the daughters pancakes. Pancakes were good, but was drowned in syrup.

The coffee was impressive and enjoyed it, but not to coloured food dye on my lips after.

Was a nice place to enjoy breakfast and it was family friendly catering for the little ones also. Would go back, if was in the area.

Firstly I was very impressed with the service. We went there on a rainy Saturday morning. It looked quite busy inside so we decided to sit outside near the street. We only waited for 1-2min before the waitress noticed us and sat us with menus. And she also carefully balanced our table by putting tissues underneath one leg of the table to make sure it was steady. The food was delicious and I also enjoyed both my drinks: the smoothie and the rainbow coffee though it took a while for us to figure out it was a swan.

My first experience was great, despite the ridiculous food prices. But when I went for a coffee the following morning, I got a salted caramel raw slice. It had no allergy warnings or even a list of ingredients. I immediately caught a bad reaction that included non stop vomiting from morning to night. Never going back

Beautiful food to see and eat! Don’t bother about the famous rainbow coffee tough , unless you really like milk and a beautiful instagram feed! Their black coffee is really good stuff! Highly recommend the Mojito pancakes , really yummy, not very sweet, great balance between sour, sweet and freshness! Their Benedicts is also testy yummy and beautiful, just loved their hollandaise sauce. Recommend the place for a good breakfast , a little bit pricey but worth it.
Lachy
Nice setting, good food, great coffee! The cafe has a cool modern vibe though in need of some more soft furnishings to reduce noise in the space. Food was great value with smashed avo for $15 which came with two eggs, dukkah and hummus!! However, flavours weren't as delicious as some of Brisbane's other offerings and too much hummus drowned out the other ingredients. Coffee has a great taste and amazing latte art! Rebecca

Good location amongst a collection of suburban shops. Easy parking!
Was greeted straight away with a friendly smile. And the service remained friendly throughout our visit.
The cafe is inviting, with a fresh but slightly rustic feel.
Food was served very promptly. I had the panna cotta with granola, fresh berries and flowers. It was delicious! Lots of different flavours, fresh and so pretty!
My sister had the avocado on toast with dukkah, hummus and poached eggs. She thoroughly enjoyed her dish also! Great flavours and beautifully presented.
The green smoothy was lovely. The rainbow coffee looked beautiful and the latte art was lovely, however the concept of pouring the shot into the milk disrupts the crema and takes away from the flavours of the coffee itself.

Presentation for food and drink was quite nice, and the service was really lovely, but the prices were a bit high for the amount we got and the quality of the food. Worth a try if you're in the area, and I might revisit if the menu changes and I'm in the area :)

Lovely cafe with nice interiors! The Golden Gaytime pancakes were rich and indulgent, definitely a meal for cheat days. I've also tried the Pink Pitaya acai bowl and it was okay. The cafe is pet-friendly, great for my little pup :)

First time trying an Acai Bowl and have to say I'm glad to have ate it at Piggy Back Cafe.
Was very delicious, and the service was great.
Definitely will come back for these Acai Bowls.

Was a really nice cafè! Large eating area and very friendly staff! Went for the rainbow coffee, which was super cool and tasted great! Tried the pork belly slaw sliders which were awesome! My friend tried the burger which was also pretty decent. Would go again! 🐷🍔

Visited Piggy Back Cafe with my friends on a Friday morning, not so busy. Friendly staff and great service. We only ordered rainbow coffees as the food doesn't seem appealing to us and it is a little bit overpriced. The rainbow coffee comes with a cup of steamed milk with double espresso at the side. The coffee is so beautiful!! However, it tastes average.
Kate Parrott
Visited Piggy back cafe the other day. Service was great and the staff were really friendly. Food presentation is amazing but that's where the wow factor stopped for me. The food tasted good but not amazing and the coffee was average. I'm glad I visited but probably wouldn't need to go again.

Tucked in the backstreets of Jindelee this place must delight the locals.

There are plenty of almost all-day breakfast offerings, and whilst the Gaytime waffles are the blog worthy offering I opted for the Brissy classic avo on toast with eggs and a few other additional, which did not disappoint.

It's noisy inside so I opted for the quieter table outside in a shady spot

The rainbow coffee is certainly a novelty, highly instagramable I'm sure.

Piggy back is one of my favourite places! There's always creative and new, delicious, well executed menu items, I've never had to send anything back, I always get served exactly what I've ordered and I've not yet once been disappointed. Sitting in the sunshine is always nice too

Great breakfast food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff & good coffee
have ordered the same thing about 6 times!
nice and local too. Give it a go

Ambiance (A)
It was pretty easy to spot this cafe from the road, it's the one with always a queue! The cafe has plenty of seats inside and out, spacious and had adequate natural sunlight as lighting. They also have herb and vege plants outside the cafe!

Food and Beverage (FB)
I first heard about this place for its infamous rainbow latte. So I had that a go, together with the Nasi Lemak quinoa which was served with crispy pork belly. The rainbow latte was definitely worth the visit. It's one of the only cafes that I've seen to do so.

Service (S)
Waitresses were all very attentive and had smiles on all day. They seemed like they knew how to make customers comfortable and welcome!

Overall
A : 4/5
FB : 3.5/5
S : 5/5

A gem in this area. Really clear and friendly instructions on how and where to order.

Originally wanted to try the Rainbow Latte but couldn't handle two shots today. The hot chocolates sound amazing but I thought I would try to avoid sugar coma today as I wanted to order their Holden Gay Time Pancakes.

Wonderfully fresh and steaming pancakes with pretty frozen ice cream (didn't melt quickly). Looked so pretty and tasted as good as it looked. The berries cut through the sweetness and loved the crunch of toffee. The pancakes are fluffy but they're actually denser than I thought so I felt quite full (I had a light breakfast a couple of hours before)

Appreciated being asked by staff if everything was ok during the meal.

During the week it wasn't super packed so I did stay a bit longer to do some work.

Have kids menu and chairs which is great if I wanna bring LO next time.

Favourite breakfast spot in Australia to date. And I have visited quite a few. They change the menu quite frequently which is both good and bad, gain yummy new dishes but lose a few faves. Have eaten here many times and never disappoints. Great drink and food selection. Friendly, happy and helpful staff. Top tip: gaytime pancakes are a chocolate lovers dream! And the rainbow coffee is a must for insta addicts ;) although does not taste the best.

The only thing that was satisfied here was my Instagram. The rainbow coffee while satisfying for the eyes, but lacked so much in the strong flavour of coffee. While the red velvet toast that I ordered was very dry and overly sweet. This cafe did not meet the marl for me in terms of quality.

Today's the day, I finally got a chance to try out this cafe. Their 'rainbow coffee' had been flooding all over my Instagram feed and I couldn't help but to see and try it for myself.

Making my arrival here with a friend at 12:15pm, the cafe was packed and full of people inside and outside. We were advised of a 10-15min wait due to the many people awaiting their tables as well. Around 10mins later we were called and were taken to a table inside. After checking out the menu we decided on the Buns&Pulled Pork and the Piggy Burger as well as a Peppermint Tea and a Rainbow Coffee.

I had the Buns&Pulled Pork. The bun was made soft and slightly crispy at the same time which I really liked. Perhaps the pork could have been made a little more tender, but besides that it was enjoyable. My friend had the Piggy Burger, the portion was good and flavours were nice but she found it a bit hard to eat due to the size (height) of the burger.

The popular Rainbow Coffee was just alright in my opinion. Milk wasn't really hot enough - adding the double shot into the milk only gave it some flavour. The latte art was pretty though. Seeing colours in your food/beverage always makes it more appetising :)

Staff are friendly! I'll be back to try their Pink Pannacotta :)

I enjoyed a delicious Acai Bowl at Piggy Back Cafe. Quick and friendly service, tasty food and nice coffee. Definitely a good cafe to go to with a group as there is plenty of space.

No traditional eggs benny on menu only salmon. When asked if I could substitute salmon for bacon chef said no. Not a flexible menu if you don't want a sweet breakfast. When meals came out my husband had a hair in his. Won't be going back.

We've been to Piggy Back a few times now and haven't been disappointed. Always find the food fresh and tasty, especially the fresh, house made sweet muffins which are usually interesting combinations of flavour. The service is also very welcoming.

MOST POPULAR FOR THEIR RAINBOW COFFEES! Rainbow coffee comes as a cup of plain foamed milk with food-colouring latte art and an expresso shot you have to pour in yourself....gram worthy but the food colouring stains your teeth (highly unattractive) and tastes chemically. AMAZING, AMAZING FOOD HOWEVER- so filling and reasonably priced (try the pumpkin and feta topped toast). Half the staff are friendly the other are snobbish...also maybe turn the music up? Can be a bit awkward if you're having a private conversation- feels like the cook out the back can hear you 😂

Pretty food that tastes really good! Well priced menu too. The Pattaya panna cotta was loaded with berries and nuts and was ideal with the addition of a side of milk.

Cute cafe with friendly staff and amazing customer service!. Slightly overpriced for two grilled satay chicken sticks and asian salad mix - but must admit chicken was cooked to perfection!. In love with rainbow art coffee though!

Only option on the breakfast menu for vegans are smoothie bowls, so I asked if I could just have avocado on toast. Well let's just say that my friends and I could only laugh in disbelief as to what was put on the table in front of me (please see photo). $12 for two pieces of plain toast and half an avocado placed on the side of the plate haha, will not be returning.

I went on an adventure last weekend to Piggy Back Cafe, located in Jindalee. It's such a cute suburban cafe with delicious meals and great service.

Lovely friendly service! The red velvet french toast is delicious, especially if you're a real sweet tooth. Lovely beach-like design with heaps of light. The perfect brunch spot!

The red velvet French toast, horrible. Too thick, sweet and too much cream cheese which made sickening and hard to eat. Same with the matcha bagels which tasted like bad bagels and not matcha. Come here to feed the eyes or the gram but not your belly.

Great service and would definitely come back to try their rainbow coffee! Beside the banana bread being a bit dense, it was fresh and to my liking.

I loved this place! It's fun. The fresh waffle was just Devine and the breakfast burger was so delicious. I just wish It was a bit bigger or came with chips, but maybe I was just super hungry. The colorful coffee was super fun. Definitely not your average cafe and well worth a visit!

The coffee is yum at this little cafe, the serving staff are really friendly and accomodating and the takeaway food options are fresh. Having a still warm muffin and delicious coffee for only seven dollars makes my wednesdays so much nicer :)

I have only been here on one of there dessert pop up nights and it was not the best, we barely ate our dessert. My friends 6 year old daughter didn't like hers either and that's saying something. The staff were really very nice though. I have heard good things about there breakfast but the dessert pop up night did not do anything for me.

Coffee and then food took so long to arrive and when it finally did the chips were cold and tostado extremely stale. Meals were generally bland. Lovely girl at the counter but won't be back.

Food looked amazing but was all completely bland, as was the mocha I ordered. It is extremely overpriced. Nice people but wouldn't go there again.

I wouldn't say there are a lot of choices on the breakfast menu, I picked the egg Benedict trio with capsicum hollandaise sauce, so the trio is three poached eggs, each on top of a half English muffin, one egg with smoked salmon, the other with sliced ham, can't remember what's the third one, and it cost $21 dollars! I couldn't even finish the third egg, and the eggs weren't runny. I reckon if they drop to two eggs and reduce the price, I'd give them a 3, overall it's just so so, I wouldn't drive all the way to jindalee if we weren't going to moggill conservation park...

A 1hr 15 min wait, 15% surcharge for a Sunday, forgot the hollandaise sauce, bacon was cold and poached eggs were hard.
Don't do it to yourself..

The problem with this one is the same as the Paw Paw a sister cafe and that's the service. I can hear you when you talk about the solo diner. I do not think giving the table behind me a seat first is a good idea (to one waitresses credit she told the others that and they didn't jump over me to seat others). As a solo diner I have a lot of buying power and influence. I eat out a lot and let my friends who don't know where to go. Don't treat me any less than a table with not people. On top of that the food was cold when I finally got it but tasty.

Super friendly staff and a fairly large breakfast and lunch menu. Was able to get a table quite easily. Red velvet French toast was huge.

Asked if I could have the trio of benedict without the salmon and with bacon instead as I am unable to eat fish and the girl went and asked the cook and I could hear him speaking very rudely saying "I'm not changing the menu" she then returned and said they could remove the salmon but add the bacon for an extra $4.5 which did not make any sense to me seeing as bacon is cheaper than salmon yet they still wanted me to pay the price of the salmon in the benedict but without the actual salmon and add another $4.5 on top with bacon???? Ridiculous if you ask me. So I decided to order the bagel and asked if I could get bacon added on but my bagel came without any bacon..... Don't see myself coming back here if the attitude of the chef is so rude towards customers. I could understand if he didn't want to change the menu if they were busy but they weren't there were only a few people in the cafe.

Fantastic coffee & a nice vibe with some creative dishes on the menu. With 3 kids I'm always busy in the mornings so the $6 coffee & muffin deal they do is a life saver, the muffins are made in house & the savoury ones come in some unusual but delicious flavours. The staff are nice & friendly enough but don't seem make any special effort to remember regulars. My only complaint is the strawberry milkshake that I got for my son, for $6.50 I expect some actual strawberries in it, not just syrup, I can get that at McDonald's for a third of the price. It's cheap & doesn't really go with the general boutique vibe of the place but thats my only complaint.

It is disappointing to have ordered 3 drinks and receive all 3 drinks at different times. Our order was bought to our table one item at a time and to top it all off the mango and coconut loaf was firm and rubbery (old) not enjoyable.

We've seen the infamous red velvet french toast flooding through instagram news feed and we had to try it ourself to see what the fuss was all about.

Tucked away in the quiet end of Jindalee, the cafe itself was small but open, and the bright blue walls give the cafe a refreshing feel.

On top of the red velvet french toast, we also ordered the matcha avocado and warm breakfast salad. The rest of the menu was different to your typical breakfast place. The meals were satisfactory, but we will definitely be back to try the rest of their breakfast options.

Love this little café. A very small space but they make it work, went here for Mothers Day breakfast thought it would be a long wait for a table but the service was amazing and we got a table within 5 mins. The food was spectacular and great gluten free and vegan options!

Lovely little spot in the relatively empty Western Suburbs. Open and airy, it's a relaxing cafe to catch up with friends amongst the bright blue surrounds. Our acai bowl and pulled pork eggs benny were great although the poached eggs were a little over. For one of our party, they charged $20 for eggs + avo + salmon, stating it was 'eggs on toast' with two sides minus the toast. They weren't willing to change the price but did offer two free coffees to make it up, which was a nice compromise - make sure you check if you're trying to DIY breakfast!

Great menu and really delicious and tasty food! Compliments to the chef! Waitstaff were super friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!

Great local cafe restaurant. Good service and quick delivery from the counter to the table. Kids say the food is pretty good, especially the Hashcake in the breakfast menu.
