Visited for lunch on a Friday after searching for something different to try on my day off. The owners are extremely friendly and were happy to provide extra special chilli powder which is a blend of spices and chilli they import from Ethiopia.
The meal was filling. Each of the vegetable dishes had its own unique flavour. I added a serve of their chicken Wott.
I definitely recommend giving this place a try for something new.
Beautiful food and wonderful service. We have become regulars.
The food here is amazing! Colourful, fresh and so tasty. The Manager is welcoming and helpful in suggesting dishes. We also enjoyed the tunes that were playing on the Saturday at lunch time while we were there. Will definitely be back.
The food is really good. It's great that most of the food is vegan and gluten-free too, so there is something to keep everyone happy. I would definitely eat here again.
It was our first time trying Ethiopian food and it exceeded our expectations. We had the meat and veg platter for two. A good balance of dishes. Injera bread is a good compliment to scoop up the different dishes on the platter. The doro watt chicken pieces were tender and flavoursome. Would definitely be back again. It is also child friendly.
Very friendly and helpful with information about the origins and flavouring of the dishes. We got the mixed platter and it was perfect amount for 3 of us. We were even offered some extra spices to try alongside the dish. Then a sweet 'baklava of the day' to finish off. Such a different experience to eat with your hands (handwashing facilities supplied) but well worth it!
First time trying african cuisine. Since I wanted to try many dishes, I chose the meat and veggie combination set. It comprised many types of dishes. However, since I ordered it via uber eat, they put the dishes all together in one box. Therefore I couldnt differentiate which was which. I only remembered I had chicken, beef, something with carrot, red beet. Despite all the dishes had been mixed, the taste was still good. I enjoyed the dishes. The meals came with injera bread. However I dont know how to describe it since the injera didnt suit my taste. It’s not because the bread wasnt tasty but I just feel that I am not used to it. Overall, food was great (it’s still warm) and tasty. One sugesstion for them is to fix the way they pack the food. It’s abit messy. However I love the idea of putting all the food in one box, for the sake of our environment.
Wonderful service and amazing food. I was brought to this hidden gem by my sister who is a local and my first time trying Ethiopian food. Highly recommend the combined meat and veg special. I'll definitely be returning for more authentic and delicious Ethiopian food!
Friendly and welcoming service and the vibe of the restaurant is very comfortable and relaxed. Got the All-meat banquet platter for 2 and i have not had a great meal like that in a long time. Definitely recommending this place to others in search for good restaurants in the Brisbane area.
Found this little gem this evening and really enjoyed our time. The food was really enjoyable and filling. We had the 2 person platter for $40 and were very satisfied. The vibe felt authentic and the service was great. Would definitely recommend as well as come back next time in the neighbourhood.
Great food, lovely atmosphere, friendly service and great host. Very impressed by the service we got. Loved the variety of food which caters for all tastes. The presentation of the restaurant was beautiful with all its nice photo decorations and nice local music to listen to. We had a great time and will be back
First time eating authentic Ethiopian food - would highly recommend this place. Delicious food, amazing service and great value for money. Yeshi Buna felt like you were welcomed into someone's home, the food was prepared with both love and pride, and tasted like it was a secret family recipe. Will be back soon!
Great restaurant to try something unique and tasty! Highly recommend for those looking for great food along with a great atmosphere and customer service!
I got takeaway from Yeshi Buna a few weeks ago and the food was delicious and the service friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the Doro Wott.
Their food is always tasty and flavourful. I usually get the meat/veg combo with a little bit if everything. You leave feeling full in a good way.
I love coming here. Get the Vegetarian mixed platter/vege and meat mixed platter every time. Delicious and impressed, every time. Almost sad to let the secret out
Purchased the meat dish combination for two, was delicious. Atmosphere was good and service friendly. Price was reasonable and serving size was very good
Wanted to try something completely different for dinner and I'm glad we did! It was origin night so booking a table was easy! The food here was excellent and the traditional coffee was sensational! We shared a neat and vegetarian combination platter and it was delicious. We were asked to wash our hands first and then we're shown how to eat with our hands. Although the waiters accent was quite thick and hard to fully understand sometimes, the service was attentive and very friendly. I didn't manage to take a photo of the food as we dug straight into it! I will be bring my friends along to have tradition Ethiopian food to share the same wonderful experience with them. Thanks for a great night - we will be back!!
This is one of our two favourite restaurants in Moorooka. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant making the place welcoming. There is always authentic jazzy and saucy Ethiopian music that makes you want to dance while you're having your food! :) The service is good and they are always pleased to accommodate our vegan requests as much as possible. They have a handful of vegan and tasty options that we can choose from, always served with injera bread and eaten the traditional way with your hands. The tables are clean and comfortable with enough space to accommodate all the dishes. Nice place to enjoy a dinner with a friend(s). Very good value for money too. We surely recommend this place. It would be lovely to see more vegan options on the menu.
Wow, delicious. I tried the tasting platter of mixed meat and veg and wow there was so many different flavours happening, some that I've never tried before but everything was so enjoyable. I can tell that the food was prepared with love and care and using fresh produce. I would highly recommend, enjoy :)
I chose a vegetarian combo containing vegetables, spices and beans with the most delicate bread you'll eat in years! The flavours you choose are precisely what you'd expect, rendering the meal tasty and quite filling. The hosts shared nothing but kindness and love of their vivid creations with all guests.
Loved it here. The restaurant was so nice and clean. They have the cleanest cups to drink from, and the food is so so delicious. Fresh and tasty. I recommend the veggie combo. Oh great service too. Thanks :)
Came to try something different and this place delivered. Interesting experience. No cutlery provided, only our hands as we used the bread to wrap up the tasty different curries, which consisted of assorted blends of flavoured lentils and beans. Can be a bit messy to eat, but there are sinks to wash hands in . Would recommend if you're wanting to try something new.
I went to Yeshi Buna with a group of friends for their shareplate meals. The only half star they lose is because they have room to grow for a more atmospheric setting. The owner is clearly passionate about what he does, and is enthusiastic about educating diners about his culture through his delicious food. He provided us with a menu and glossary of terms for us people unfamiliar with African cuisine. Then when the food came out he gave us a tutorial on how to eat it.
I ate from the vegetarian shareplate and enjoyed every bit of it. We got extra bread (sorry I can't remember the name of it!) to go with the various food options. There's so many subtle flavours, and it's a fun experience to be served what you know is genuine food, and be able to eat it in its genuine style. I'd love to return to do it all again.
Just a heads up: parking in the complex is terrible so plan ahead for where you can park then walk to the restaurant.
We (4 friends) went without expectations and left with very satisfied stomachs and big smiles on our face.
We opted for a vegetarian and meat share platter which was huge and very pleasing to the eye. Once the owner explained to us how to eat with our hands, we got stuck into the big variety of food on the platter. Everything tasted so delicious, we immediately forgot about our initial reluctance to eat with our hands.
Yum, yum, yum! The coffee was pretty good too.
The restaurant was simply furnished and clean, the owner friendly and laid back.
We will be back.
I liked it here because it was good and that. Got the vegie and meat platter and it was fully good. Nice staffs too and I got to clean my hands before and after and that was good too.
We kinda stumbled into this restaurant and decided to try it without looking at Zomato. I know right, like the olden days!
This was quite the find. I've only tried Ethiopian food once previously and I was not super impressed. But this little joint was great. We had the two individual meals and shared them (came to just $27 with no drinks) as we were not super hungry, but next time I'll come with an appetite and try the share platter. All meals come with heaps of injera, the sour savoury pancake bread. This one had a great texture and nice balance is sourness. The meals were not huge but if you eat all the injera you are given you will definitely be full.
Service was very friendly.
Cute and clean little restaurant with lots of easy parking.well be back to try the platter!
Moorooka is Brisbane's African Village. There are many African restaurants here, but the premium one is Yeshi Buna.
If you haven't tried African food before, then grab a platter from here. This is what we did. The platter contains a vast selection of dishes, all slow cooked aromatic stews, plus a few salads (could do without the beetroot, but that is my personal problem).
Yeshi Buna serves everything with a little flourish. So our platter came served under the cover for a traditional African table.
What I most like about African food is going with a group to share the platters together. Highly recommended.
Interesting dining experience. Traditional Ethiopian food and even comes with a demonstration on how to eat with your hands. Entree was amazing - stuff peppers and spicy as... I had food envy for the mains though as the other meal was a combination meat & vegetable platter which was amazing compared to the doro tids (basically KFC with a salad - less than impressed). Would come here again though to try a different dish. Service was a little slow and the waiter forgot to bring the drinks but was quick once prompted.
Ordered the vegetarian platter and the food was nice. The staff were very hospitable, the restaurant was nicely decorated but when I was there it busy, so try to get there early. Certainly worth a try if you're looking to try something different.
Delicious food, friendly, helpful staff. Our first experience of Ethiopian food so we had meet and veg platter for 2. Needed a bit of instruction how to eat it but then really enjoyed the whole experience. The coffee is good too!
A visit to Yeshi Buna is incomplete without trying their vegetarian/ meat combinations served on injera. It's served family style where the diners share the meal from one big plate. This also gives one the chance to try several dishes at once. Another must try is sils served with esh bread. The coffee served here is of excellent quality as well. I have enjoyed every visit to Yeshi Buna and I look forward to visiting again.
If you’ve never eaten African food before, specifically Ethiopian, prepare to get your hands dirty. Yeshi Buna has been around for about four years and is located on the main strip through Moorooka. This small family business has an unassuming and laidback vibe. If you’re used to crisp white table cloths, polished cutlery and linen napkin, this will bring you back to basics.
Loved the food, just had the most wonderful time trying something new, sharing food with friends and family was so enjoyable. Definitely planning to go back soon.
Yummy!!!
Ordered the meat and veggie combination! Was extremely impressed! The food was amazing and the waiter even taught us how to eat it with our hands! Atmosphere was funky and inviting . Did not leave hungry which is impressive considering the cheap price! Will definitely become a regular.
Ethiopia meet Brisbane. Delicious meals, exotic flavours. Authentic furnishings. Casual and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for an easy going date, or catch up with friends.
Really enjoyed the food great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had something called injera and Tibbs the injera is like a sour flat bread that is really delicious.
Amazing food. Generous servings. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. We'll definitely be back ... looking forward to trying the breakfast menu next time ...
My favourite place in Brisbane for Ethiopian food. Highly recommend ordering with a group the meat and veg combination platter for $20pp and allow yourself to try a variety of curries on their menu. Extremely filling and they can provide more injera (sourdough pancake) if needed. Traditional Coffee also a must order. Owners and staff are very welcoming and provide good service. Go and support local business!
As an Ethiopian Australian living in the area, I often visit Yeshi Buna for a meal or even just to pick up some traditional injera to take home. The owner has recognised my sister and I as regulars therefore we always receive a very warm personal welcome. The food is always great and we always leave full. Yeshi Buna is our go to Ethiopian restaurant when we want to introduce our Australian friends to a bit of our culture. Yeshi Buna is one of most authentic Ethiopian experiences in Queensland. I highly recommend it. Although it is not the place to go if looking for anything other than traditional Ethiopian cusine.
Worth a go just for the novelty value and the hipster cred.
Different flavours and textures and was fun eating with hands instead of cutlery.
A little exxy if you get the pancake with mixed veggies & meat just for one person (i think it was about $30) but would probably be enough to share between two.
Would have been perfect with a beer but wasn't sure if a BYO would be a goer here, so went with the traditional coffee.
Return visit - probably not.
Tonight we had an excellent meal here. We are a large family of 7 with 3 teenagers. I ordered the traditional coffee and shared with my daughter who loved it, ask for the incense as it adds to the experience. We ordered the mixed meat and veggie combo that was served with injera for 4 people and 2 fish dishes - asaa kotelet. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and I find it of very good value. The service was excellent and we were provided with a glossary of the foods, which was very helpful. This was the first time with our family and we will be going again. Great place to visit for lunch also as my husband and I have done before.
First time at this place, I ordered a mixed vegetable and meat platter to share and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes offered. There were at least 6 different types of dishes to try, all cooked with flavorful spices, my favorite was the chicken (in the middle). Was really quiet considering it was a Monday but so worth it! Reasonably priced too for the amount that you get, overall happy and full :)
My favourite restaurant!
The people who work at Yeshi Buna are extremely friendly and very helpful, always smiling.
the place has a lovely atmosphere and great music.
The food was absolutely magical!
The coffee and cake was great!
I recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone :)
Yeshi Buna is one of my favourite places in Brisbane. Great food and great vibes. My husband and I have gone to Yeshi regularly over the last 3 tears and recently we had a going away party at the restaurant. Yeshi was so accommodating and fed all 30 of us! Vegetarian and meat dishes were all equally delicious and had people going back for more as a buffet was provided. On top of this we had traditional Ethiopian coffee with the smoking of beans and incense wafting throughout the restaurant. What a wonderful culinary experience. If you haven't already been, GO!
Amazing coffee, and I'm coming back for more dhal. Well priced, good service, great atmosphere. A really nice family business. Very authentic dining.
I recently travelled to Ethiopia and the food there was great, but I can honestly say that the fir-fir I had at Yeshi Buna last night was better than any I had in Ethiopia or anywhere else. A powerful, rich, spicy dish that made my taste-buds jump with joy.
Tasty, hearty meal and friendly service. The Vegetarian Combination is the perfect balance of tasty lentil and vegetables dishes, fresh salad and Injera (a pancake-style bread). Injera is made from Teff (a gluten free grain, similar to buckwheat). The meal is hearty and generous in size.
The staff are friendly and the Manager takes the time to go through the menu and answer any questions. They succeed in ensuring diners have an enjoyable dining and cultural experience.
Great experience.. We came here based on the reviews on Urbanspoon and ordered the meat and vegetable combination. The owner was helpful and interested, showing us how to eat the food properly. It was a very casual atmosphere and at times didn't really feel like you were eating in an establishment, more like you were in someone's house - which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The food was incredible and I think just the experience of eating with our hands was great for a change. We both thoroughly enjoyed our first experience eating Ethiopian food. Very affordable prices too. The meal cost us $38 for both of us.
I and my friends really enjoy the food at yeshi buna. The hospitality , the friendly family service and it's clean. That's why we keep going back.
My family and I shared a great meal at Yeshi Buna. We'd seen the good reviews and weren't disappointed. The couple that owns it are just lovely. Yeshi Buna means Yeshi's coffee, named after his wife. We had a platter and the fish, which was tasty and fresh, followed by their specialty, Ethiopian coffee. All the while listening to 60s Ethio jazz and the restaurant is BYO. A fun night and nice to try something different.
Taste extravaganza!!!. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and food is amazing. My wife and I have been here a dozen times or so, we're hooked! I recommend getting the platter, a generous taste of their best curries. It's an enjoyably tactile experience and the food really is outstanding.
One unforseen highlight is the beetroot salad that comes with the platter.
Yum. Good affordable food from lovely people...time to do the Happy Dance
Incredibly delicious, and decidedly different.. Right from the get go you can tell this is going to be an interesting place. The atmosphere is phenomenal, and the food can't be beaten. I went here with my partner and we got the meat platter (For two people it's $36) and i'll tell you that there is no way we could of finished it. Plenty for three people to be full, or four to be satisfied. The food is unique and served on a traditional bread that I can only describe as a pancake that is light and serves as a rice substitute. Best of all? It all tastes amazing. Eat here.
Love it!. Ordered the meat & veg mix... it's hard to encounter "different" sort of foods in Brisbane. Absolutely recommend, already planning my next trip. The $2 discount when more than 1 person eats is confusing, we thought it was per person... other than that- absolutely fantastic food, service, and experience. Would be great if they had more traditional drinks. A bit pricier than Urbanspoon indicates, at $19 a head... but well worth it!
A revelation. We were a bit unsure of what to expect when we dined at Yeshi Buna, but we needn't have worried. The menu explains the basics of Ethiopian food for "novice" diners and the staff are so warm, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the mixed meat and vege combo, delicious and flavoursome, plus a egg/injera dish that was also fantastic. Traditional ethiopian coffee was a great accompaniment. $35 later and we left full and vowing to go back soon.
First time to try ethiopian great experience, great service very friendly and helpful but flavours are beautiful
Yum!. Scored a voucher online as we'd never tried Ethiopean food. Fresh and beautifully presented, amazing flavors, and very friendly service to boot. Hubby was amazed! Definitely would recommend this restaurant.
New Favorite in Bris. I'm a big fan of Ethiopian food and having grown up in Washington DC I have had a fair bit of it. With that in mind I think Yeshi Buna is very good. The owner/manager is very nice and the prices are reasonable. More importantly the food is great and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. I can't wait to go back.
Lovely people, food and vibe. Great place to share some food with friends. Delicious platters to share with curries, salads and dibs for the injira (Ethiopian bread). Highly recommended.
Friendly owner. If you're looking for something a bit different, healthy and delicious, this is the place to go.
The owner was very kind and took the time to explain what was in our combination dish, and how to eat it. He also gave us a lesson in the Ethiopian coffee ceremony.
Definitely recommend, and will be coming back
What a treat. We decided to try this place after reading other positive reviews and were not disappointed. The food was different, plentiful and superb. It took a bit of effort to master eating with our hands from the communial plate but this just added to the pleasure of this unique eating experience. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Delicious. I first tried this place completely on impulse after walking past- I turned around and went in for lunch simply because the smell coming out the front door was so good!
Service is friendly, polite and a little slow. Not a big deal, but it's not fast food.
Many return trips later, I'd pick Yeshi's Traditional (sauteed lamb served with fresh capsicum and chopped chilli) and Shiro (a simple split-pea dish, vegetarian) as my personal favourites, but would recommend one of the tasting dishes for first-timers or anyone going with friends. Everything is served with yummy fresh injera. Prices are budget-friendly, with individual dishes going for $12-15. Out of all the north-east African restaurants in Moorooka, this one is the most consistently good.
So friendly, great food, great value. We had a big combination plate which was delicious and the owner (?) took the time to teach us how to eat it. Would recommend.
Terrific! Never had Ethiopian before and they were only too happy to show the correct technique in eating it. Food was flawless. Even better they made a perfect dish that our 2yo daughter loved. This is our new favourite place. Brilliant.

+4.5
Incredible food, great value platters with several curries, salad and fresh enjera bread for $18pp...friendly atmosphere, good music and vibes...plenty of locals go here and no wonder, the meals are superb. Hint, wash your hands at the basin before eating as there are no knives and forks! Also go in a group as it's more fun to get a table platter...
Yeshi Buna Ethio-African - Moorooka, Brisbane. Apparently derived from a popular chain of restaurants in Addis Ababa, there is now a chance to try this place right in the Little Africa of Brisbane. It is a little tricky to find; I almost walked by it before noticing a sign on the window indicating that this was the place. When my dining buddy and I walked in here, neither of us were aware just how good the food here was going to be.
The restaurant is modest in size. Inside, it is decked out with colourful aesthetics and a real vibe of Ethiopia to it. They have a wash basin for cleaning hands before and after a meal, as well as a space dedicated to their coffee ritual (it is something else how they do it in Ethiopia). Using National Geographic magazines, images of Ethiopia are shown with enthusaism.
Better yet, there is a fresh air aspect to this place with the palm trees inside and benefiting with greenery outside from being a fair bit back from the road. There was an open-aired freshness to this place with access to outside and a view of it.
Service here is some of the most accomodating that you will ever come across. Part-way through the main meal, the waitress brought out more injera to help pick up the bits of the meal; at another point she was carrying around a giant pan full of coffee beans and allowing all the clientele to have a smell - it was an amazing aroma that is absolutely worth going for.
So going here with my dining buddy, it was a fantastic experience. You will certainly not be leaving this place hungry. For the most part of the meal, the two of us were the only Caucasians in the restaurant - a key factor to see if an ethnic restaurant is authentic is to observe the other patrons. The Ethiopian population seems to like this place a lot, thus that is an optimistic sign.
To start off with, a couple of entrees were ordered: a sinig, which is an onion-stuffed green pepper wrapped in injera and the kategna which was where they rendered injera as amber toast coated with awaze & kibe (a kind of butter).
Both of these were fantastic starters. The sinig was really spicy - I bit into the top end first - and gives a burst of heat in your mouth before calming down and subsequent bites are actually allow it to becoem more pleasant and flavoursome. However, the kategna was the highlight. In its simplicity, there was a lot that I wondered how they made it. There was a buttery flavour infused into the bread and it was akin to naan.
There are several meals to choose from here, or if indecision kicks in a choice of three different platters complimenting meat-eaters, vegetarians and the non-finicky. The one the two of us chose was the meat & veg plattter. It was all served on a giant bed of injera - therefore, no need was present to have cutlery. This had a brilliant selection of delights; each one if not delicious as the last, certainly can hold its own:
First off, there is the Ye Beg Alicha. This is not available on the a la carte menu, thus it is a bit hard to completely review. For clarity, it is a mild lamb stew. The flavours were really complex and complimented one anaother.
Doro Wott - a chicken stew, one lone drumstick. However, the meat is tender enough to pull off the bone thus there will be few fights about it (unless there is just one for the three and four person platters).
Next was what made amongst the biggest impressions for me: the Minchet Abish. It was a beef mince that was cooked dry, infused with a wonderful masala that tasted mostly of tumeric.
Lamb in a silverbeet broth, or the Ethiopian name - Gomen Be Siga. The bits of lamb were smaller than what a lot of dishes Europeans are used to eating; however, this was also very good in a rich marsala sauce.
The atikilt wott which was a fresh mixture of carrots, cabbage and onion that was not unlike kimchi. This was lighter than the other dishes and exuded a natural sweetness to it. Amongst all the meat and lentils, this was balanced out the meal really well.
Kik Alicha which is split peas somewhat akin to dahl. It was brilliantly infused with plenty of garlic and ginger giving it a pugnent aroma. A similiar dish on the plate was the missir wott albeit that dish was spicier in comparrison.
Also not on the menu was the fassolia, a dish of green beans which was also really good.
Last but no.... , there was the mixed salad which was a fresh mixture of lettuce and tomato. The ingredients here were certainly fresh and good quality. Not being served on the side but amongst the other meals was a good idea as it was not abandoned nor overlooked.
My dining buddy got full near the end and surrendered; I persisted leaving only a few token bits of injera. The flavours mixed so well, and although there was not any really overtly spicy dish on the platter my lips were tingling.
Presentation is outstanding in this place. The meal is served on a giant platter and put in the middle, and there was such a diverse and aesthetic colour scheme. It truly invited eating.
There was no way I was not going to have their coffee. During the ceremony, they put the coffee pan on top of popcorn. When it comes out, there is still attention to aesthetics; the saucers for the coffee cups are rectangular and have a small divet for the cup to go in. This roast was a milder flavour, and still had the wonderful depth to go with. Even though it was put on the side, I did not have any sugars with mine. The kettle held quite a bit of coffee and it keeps on fooling me. All up, the coffee was rich in flavour and an ideal finisher to the meal.
This is what I am talking about when going out for an African experience. The flavours are really unique - I am having trouble making comparissons to other cuisines it is that outstanding. While the venue is low key, it is inviting and I would urge the people I know to try it out. The meal is such a high quality standard and hopefully it does better through heresay.
I have eaten at Yeshi Buna maybe half a dozen times and have always been impressed with the fantastic food and the warm friendly service. I recommend The sharing platters and to finish off with traditional Ethiopian coffee.
Recommended if you haven't tried African Food (:. We were just looking to try something new and this caught our eyes. Service was excellent, Food was great! Price was very reasonable... Definitely recommend the veg and meat combination that cost $60 for 4pax. but gosh, it's too much for 4 people! Will definitely come back again.
Recommended!. We decided to give this place a try after I read the previous reviews and we were not disapointed. It is such a warm and welcoming family run restaurant that serves up incredibly tasty food. We had the meat and vegetarian combination dish, which I would recommend as a first timer so you can experience many of the different flavours and figure out which is your favourite. I loved the vegetarian dishes. Can't wait to go back.
Loved it!!! What a lovely and unique experience! Great service and the food was amazing!! Excellent value :) try the meat and vegetarian sample platter and the traditional coffee :)
We are repeat patrons- we love this place! We are always greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our favourite dish is the meat and vegetable platter which incorporates a number of dishes (so you don't have to choose) on a delicious pancake. Serves are generous, as are the flavours. A real winner!
Very very friendly, nice people, lovely spicy food so different and so good. Good coffee, good value and u can eat with your hands, highly recommended
Very tasty food food at very reasonable prices. The hospitality was outstanding. Family run by warm and extremely compassionate people. Will definitely go back soon.
Very yummy Ethio African. A very friendly place and they were happy to cater for our vegan group! It's always a delight to eat with your hands. We had a very tasty vegetarian platter to serve five and we were all very full! BYO was great aswell.
Excellent food, great prices and something a little different to the norm, will become our regular local
My first time experiencing Ethiopian food was great! Something I’d certainly have again. Well-priced, delicious food with great service and wonderful ambiance – I would highly recommend Yeshi Buna!
I would definitely go back here again. I've recommended it very highly to friends as a interesting experience and food meal. The combination of flavours is very interesting to people who are used to Western/Eastern palates, go somewhere new and try the food here~
