Review Vietnamese Pho Ever - Brisbane

Ian Dodds
Not much to look at on the outside, but wow, the meals are what brings you in this place. Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. A great place to eat with friends, but only your closest friends šŸ˜, because you donā€™t want to let this secret out.

You will be disappointed if visit for a real Vietnamese food. Staff are friendly. Pho was okay but soup was served little cold at this time Pork salad serve with mix salad and pork sausage taste was bitter not like a Bun cha Banh xeo was so salty by chicken meat( like a ham). I cannot recommend to others for Vietnamese food.

Delicious pho with 3 different bowl size options. Clear broth, fresh herbs and garnish, noodles cooked well and not mushy. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Having read previous reviews for the Pho at this restaurant I was anticipating something special but unfortunately it was quite ordinary. It just lacked full flavour and was not up there with many of the others I have had around Brisbane.

Absolutely PHO-TASTIC! I've had a fair few Pho's in my lifetime on various continents on this planet, including Vietnam. This place takes me back to Vietnam, hands down best Pho Ever!

Disappointing! Chose to eat here with high hopes! Spring roll vermicelli salad was served with salad leaf mixture instead of finely sliced iceberg lettuce. Dressing was not served on the side so I wasnā€™t sure if it was forgotten until I tasted it. Just ok experience. Not the best on the Northside at all! My partner had the Pho and thought it lacked flavour. Not fussy just enjoy authentic Vietnamese.

Alright if you are a fancy patron looking for ambience and good service, you won't find it here. BUT you will find awesome pho with big portions and tasty broth. I would come here on regular basis if it was a bit more closer to where Iive. For all the pho lovers out there, this a good place pho sure!

Agree with most of the reviews that you don't come here for ambience, white table cloth service or even to really talk. You come here to slurp down the food (which is served with a smile) and leave feeling full and happy. It seems like a small family business and I think they run out of most menu items (like the Vietnamese rice rolls) pretty quickly. They don't seem to speak a lot of english so I'm still working out the system. Luckily they have a never-ending pot of pho so I've never left disappointed. The noodles are just the right consistency and they're generous with the meat, bean sprouts and herbs. Really great to see businesses like this on the Northside.

I was craving to find proper PHO in brisbane.
This is the one you need to heading to. You would find real vietnamese pho in this place. Finally found.

Have tried the pho and beef stew, both are delicious. This is not a ritzy place, just great authentic Vietnamese. Highly recommended. Donā€™t go for the decor

This is the most authentic pho and bo kho you will find in Brisbane. No energy wasted on decor or ambiance, they are the ā€œsoup naziā€ of Vietnamese noodle dishes. Highly recommend.

I really think this has to be the Northside's best pho. Excellent broth, and perfectly proportioned meat/noodles/soup. The herbs and beansprouts were nice and fresh.
Very unpretentious little place, its a former local convenience store, and still shows its history, but I would choose to eat something delicious off a laminex table and mismatched chairs any day over the usual less than great food in places that have spent a fortune on their fit out.
I only wish I was in this end of town more often and could go regularly!

This is an authentic pho noodle restaurant. The decor may not be metro standards, but it's all a good sign of a good Asian restaurant. Because it's about the food!

The soup is extremely flavorful. For the first time in a while, I did not need to add any hoisen sauce into the soup and finish it all.

The noodle is so much better than average pho noodle you can get in Brisbane. It does not break into pieces easily, and even slightly stretchable. It's made from rice, that's how it should be.

The meat is tender. No complain. Plentiful sides that is just not happening anymore for $12.50 with good portion of mains.

Casual and friendly staff, so don't expect this to be a fine dining experience :D hope you enjoy this place.

Great little known place on the Northside. Don't be fooled by the decor, the food is excellent. Great little find. Pho is delicious and simple and some of the other additions are quite tasty such as the banh xeo.

What a delicious bowl of pho! You can taste the amount of time and effort that goes into the broth, and we all know how long it takes to make a delicious broth. The whole bowl is so fresh and fragrant filled with lots of herbs, and such a good price for a large bowl.

Authentic Pho and tasty food. Just like Victoria st Vietnamese in Melbourne. Not much to look at from the outside and the restaurant isn't the flashiest but by far the best Pho I've had in Brisbane.
