The very authentic and delicious canton food. Right place for canton style seafood and stirfried dishes. Not only the staff are friendly, the chefs are sincerely serving fresh greens from their own garden. No other better place for Canton food in Brisbane!

We had dinner on a weekday night with a booking of 7 adults and one child. Special orders has been placed for crabs and we had a big feast. The photos will speak for itself. Recommended place

We first discovered Treasure Inn in 2017 when we have just moved to Graceville at the time. One has to really look for it cause it’s nestled in the corner of time square and there is not much giving it away (maybe that was the intention all along-making this a true treasure to find) Anyways, it started as a pure chance encounter but this had been a rewarding food experience ever since we first set foot in there. What can I say my wife and I really enjoy the food and always order at least 3 different dishes to get the most out of the variety of food that this restaurant offers. We have now been there countless times and can recommend the following with no hesitation: combination fried rice, black pepper beef/ stir fried chicken and some seafood if there is still room left :). The portions are always generous and the taste is really authentic- especially the Sichuan dishes (Needlessly to say my wife is Chinese). We have moved house now but are still making the drive (45 min at least) when we are craving for great Chinese Food. This place is a true gem in Graceville and I can promise there is simply nothing like it in the surroundings. Many thanks to Phil and Lim for feeding us delicious food over the years. WOW love Treasure Inn, so clean and the most friendliest staff, very helpful as my first time here, been trying to find a good Chinese takeaway for a while, read the amazing reviews on many platforms mostly 4/5 Star you don’t see that often and just had to try. So we ordered - Spring Rolls Garlic Beef Sweet and Sour Pork Crispy Beef Strips in Plum Sauce Curry Chicken Mongolian Lamb Rice OMG 🤤 EVERYTHING was amazing!!! Very authentic Chinese Food!! Sooooooo full writing this!!!! Can’t wait to go back and try some different dishes. Next Friday perhaps 😆 EDIT 1.4.2021 Ordered: Combination Fried Rice Chicken Curry and Rice again!! Treasure Inn is one of the best places I’ve eaten at. Unfortunately I’ve driven past it and walked past it for the last 5 years, because it was tucked in the corner. I’m glad I’ve discovered it tonight. Jumbo Oysters dozen: These are some of the biggest oysters I’ve ever seen. They were artfully steamed with the shells capturing all the juices. There was just enough ginger and shallots to not overpower the oysters. So delicate. Definitely worth ordering. Soft Shell Crabs: Wow! So many soft shell crabs that were delicately cooked. The coating was so thin and brought out the texture and flavour of the crabs. Second dish a winner. Tiger King Prawns with a special sauce: I saw some pics of these prawns on google review and I was dreaming about them for a few days. I was not disappointed! The heads are kept on and have so much flavour. The texture of the prawn flesh with the shells on, with the prawns being deveined. So bloody good. Get these. Wom bok with fish cakes and vermicelli: This is a very delicate dish with the right amount of ginger to balance out the flavour. The fish cakes had a beautiful texture and taste to balance the wom bok. Really good to balance the other meals. Highly recommend. Will be back. 2ND VISIT We went back for a second time in a week and ordered some more classic dishes to see if they were as good as the gourmet dishes we ordered earlier in the week - and yes, they were excellent! Roast Pork and Tofu Hot Pot This dish reminded me of ones I had when I was a child. The hot pot had so much heat inside it, the roast pork very tender, with the tofu soaking up all the juices of the broth. Fried Rice with Chicken Like the hot pot, I loved the heat and flavour of extremely high temp wok cooking. Very good. Wonton Soup - Large Lots of large wontons. The wontons had a great chewy texture, which I love in a wonton. Definitely 5 stars! OUR THIRD VISIT * HIGHLIGHT Steamed whole coral trout This was perfectly steamed with the flesh very succulent and firm. It had the right amount of ginger, chilli and soya sauce. Definitely one of Australia’s finest fish dishes. The entree dishes were very good. Incredibly puffy wonton wrappers, with the meat gently cooked inside. Good super hot frying technique. Combination noodles and chicken treasure hot pot - great flavours in each dish. 3 visits, definitely 5 stars!

Please support this local restaurant. No glitz but you will enjoy delicious, authentic food at a reasonable price. Make it a regular "go to".

I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be amazing but the last two take aways we have had have been absolute rubbish. Tonight we ordered honey chicken, salt and pepper squid and a large rice. Rice was passable, but the honey chicken was absolutely disgusting. I expected crunchy fried chicken with (ideally) honey sauce in a separate container. What I got, was a soggy disintegrating mess. The squid wasn't as bad, and we were able to save it by tossing it around in a pan at home. The honey chicken was not so lucky and it's currently in the bin. I know that you can't expect perfection with these type of dishes take away. But with <10 mins door to door. I have had much better elsewhere. We will never go back.

Best food! Fast service. Fantastic customer service. Family run business. Never had a meal that was less than awesome. Tonight we had take away Singapore Noodles. Best I've ever had.

Delicious food! I would definitely recommend! I have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant in Brisbane and have now found it! The Mongolian beef had a great flavour and the beef was melt in your mouth.

Been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. Tonight we decided for something different then our usual dishes and we were again amazed by their quality, service and price 😁 cannot fault them on anything!! With my hubby home for the weekend, our Sunday was jam packed with shopping and enjoying ourselves we lost track of time and had to order some take away for dinner....such a shame (NOT!!😉)<br/>Feeling like a good feed of Chinese, I remembered a friend recommending Treasure Inn in Graceville. So off we went to locate it and check it out!<br/>I have driven along Oxley Road and never seen this place. Its hidden in the corner of the strip of other eating establishments with big banners and signage, this place is lost, but I think word of mouth does not require it needing to waste money on further advertising!<br/>We have a regular range of dishes that we order and if they can do those dishes well, we are then happy to expand our culinary exploration into their menu.<br/>My first impression upon arrival was the 5 star Food Safety Certificate hanging proudly at the front door made me feel confident at least I would make it to work tomorrow!<br/>So we ordered our standard order of Beef & Black bean, Chicken & vegetables, Sweet & Sour Pork, Combination Chow Mein and a large Fried Rice to take away.<br/>The seating was generous as it had tables inside and out, but unfortunately no air con! Just fans!<br/>15 minutes later, our order was ready and we were heading home.<br/>Servings are generous, and the food had flavour!! Now, I normally get Beef & Black Bean for johnk2154 but even I was raving about the flavor of this dish . The noodles in the Chow Mien had a hint of smokiness from the heat of the wok, which was great . I think we just found our new local Chinese👍👍and we will definitely be back.<br/><br/>If there was air conditioning it would of been a 5!!<br/>

What an absolute pleasure it is to write a review that expresses all positives.How great to find an authentic Chinese restaurant that opens at 11.30 am on a Sunday... just perfect after a Sunday sleep in! Run by father and son, Lim and Phil, their restaurant is intimate, clean, friendly and inviting.<br/>The menu reflects the size of the restaurant which is comprehensive but also ensures all dishes are prepared freshly. From their beautiful made on premises steamed dim sims to the best fried rice we have tried, dining at Treasure Inn is a pleasure.<br/>Service is fast, friendly and courteous. We will definitely be coming back for more!

Decent food in a clean and busy little restaurant. <br/>I will say the lady who served us was amazing. Super friendly, pleasant and prompt despite being the only front of house person. <br/>The food took forever to come out of the kitchen, I noticed this seemed to be the case for a lot of tables, so they did not misplace our order (was a 35-40 min wait). One of the dishes was lukewarm, I suspect because they were waiting for the other dishes to finish cooking. <br/>Black bean beef was really nice, sweet and sour pork looked great in the menu photo but was heavily battered in reality. The traditional veg that came out lukewarm was a great mix of veggies in a nice subtle sauce. <br/>Complimentary tea was a very nice touch. <br/>The wicker chairs were quite unpleasant for the extended sitting time, nicer chairs were inside the restaurant. I'd sit inside next time.

Just got back from dinner here. A wonderful place. We ordered 2 entrees and 3 mains. They were all terrific. The owner made time to come and introduce himself to us and it was a great family atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.

Came on a Sunday night after the crowd, we were seated promptly and service was excellent. Ordered a few dishes and they came out within minutes! Couldn't be more pleased to have good and quick food service on a cold winter night!<br/><br/>Ordered a regular wonton soup, stir fried vegetables, combination fried rice, and salt and pepper pork cutlets.<br/><br/>The wonton soup and stir fried vegetables were average, and not too oily. <br/><br/>The combination fried rice was quite flavourful, and I had no complaints with it. The meat servings for the fried rice was generous too! - good value!<br/><br/>The salt and pepper pork cutlets were the highlight, they were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, I could just wolf down a whole plate of them!<br/><br/>Definitely be back again, to try the other items on the menu as well as the pork cutlets again!!

This is a fantastic little treasure of a restaurant. The food was very flavoursome and fresh. Great relaxed atmosphere and amazingly friendly staff. We went in as a group and we were looked after very well and needless to say we will definitely be back at this place. They also do takeaways!! A must try in Graceville!!!

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The fried rice was good, but the other 3 dishes.... The vegetables had never seen a wok; they were pre- (and very over-) cooked. Then it seemed the meat was added, and a cup of boiling water tipped over. The meat was tough and tasteless; the vegetables were slush; all swimming in almost flavorless water.<br/>Never again.

I mostly come here for takeaway. The food is always well cooked and fresh and they put lots of good quality veggies in. The people are nice and the food is fast - what more could you want when it's Friday night and you just want to veg in front of the TV with some fast food?

Great food in a casual setting. My husband I went here with our too small kids after seeing the other comments on urban spoon. We had a great night. The food is amazing, and the owner Phil is so friendly and helpful.

The treasure inn is certainly a treasure! Really enjoyed a fantastic meal with friends. On the wait staff's advice we tried the specials (chilli beef, salt and pepper prawns, duck in plum sauce) and were not disappointed. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and well seasoned. The staff are very friendly. It's really a great local family restaurant. The only minus was a couple of the down lights in the front (where we were sitting) were a bit bright which detracted from the ambience but this is a small niggle. Will definitely be back again!

Best chinese around. The food is amazing. I have no idea where this crab monster gets the idea that the food is tasteless. I have a high knowledge of food and this place is one i would rate high. Either Crab monster is being paid to write badly or they really dont no good food. Would highly recommend this place for a great meal and excellent customer Service.

Save your money. The worst Chinese food ever!!!...I would know Chinese food as I lived in Asia, I ordered 4 dishes...wasted 60 over dollars...and all I enjoyed was the Chinese tea and the glass of water. I was so excited to eat since so many people said such great things....but no no no...I would never go there again, going to the food courts and eating 10 dollars economically rice gives me better joy. Tasteless, salt-less, flavorless food is the only way I can describe the meals.

Excellent service, delicious food and great value.. I have not experienced service levels like this since I holidayed in bali. Attentive, friendly, warm and helpful. Food was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the curry prawns, shandong chicken and soft shell crab. Byo wine and beer which kept an already cheap bill even cheaper. We will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely fantastic food and service!. The food was great and well priced! Probably some of the best Asian I have ever had. <br/>We ordered the beef fried rice, Dave's special (Salt and pepper calamari), garlic prawns and the soft shell crab. Fed all three of us easily and all of it was absolutely delicious. They also cater for gluten free people which was also awesome (make sure you tell them before you order). The service was fantastic and they went out of their way to make sure you had the most enjoyable time.<br/>Highly recommend eating here! I will surely be going back in the near future!

Fresh tasty Chinese cuisine!. What a great little restaurant, it serves all the old favorites, but what we had was fresh and tasty without being overly greasy, salty, or sweet. Light, tangy sauces, appetizing in both appearance and flavour. Everything we had was great (even the tea - ask for the dark tea!), we look forward to trying more soon!

Get the Soft-Shell Crab. Follow the advice of dipping it in a little of one of the chilli sauces and then soy; and then..... An unforgettable life-changing taste sensation....

Amazing food~!. The soft shell crab was amazing, as was everything else we ordered. The food was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. The service was good, and we didn't have to wait long for the meal either. 10/10 would go again, especially with a group of friends. By far the best Chinese I've had in Brisbane.

A Chinese restraunt with so many options of traditional Chinese food. Treasure Inn are always adding different flavoured dishes to the menu. The produce is fresh and the meat is tender. Personalised service & well priced.

Affordable Treasure. On the spur of the moment my wife and i decided to try out this relatively new Chinese restaurant. The owner greeted us warmly and we sat outdoors in the alfresco area. We were given enough time to choose from the menu given it was our first time there. we were not particularly hungry but we chose the Salt and pepper calamari as one main and the roast duck and pork as another. I cannot speak more highly about both meals. During the course of our meal the owner came out and made sure everything was to our satisfaction which was pleasing. The final pleasure besides being BYO is the affordability of the meals. We will definitely be back .

Took my wife and 1 year old to Treasure Inn tonight for dinner. What can I say, FANTASTIC. The meals were outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the price was reasonable. Phil made us feel very welcome, he even accommodated for the little one. Any request we had of Phil or his staff was never a problem. A big thumbs up to the chef. I will be recommending the Treasure Inn. A great night, I will certainly be back time and time again.

Crab Singaporean style amazing. Called Phil the owner at 3pm on Saturday 9th may to see if he could arrange fresh Singaporean mud crab for that night. He didn't have any in stock but said he wi call his contacts to see if he can get any. He called back within 20 minutes and said yes I have a 2kg mud crab For u and he said no problem I will drive to underwood to pick it up for us. Talk about fantastic service. For dinner we had salt n pepper calamari, fried rice , thinly cut beef strips and we had the mud crab Singaporean style. I have attached a photo of the mud crab. The food was amazing the service first class and Phil the owner is a legend. He treats his customers like family and u feel welcome at his restaurant. Very friendly. They cooked some special order for my Chinese father-in-law. He was very impressed. Fast and used some home grown veges.

Best Chinese in the west. Fresh and vibrant flavours take Treasure Inn food out of the ordinary. Just had a Kang Bo chicken (a good kick but the flavour rides over the heat), and a Beef Ho Fan, which is similar to the malay char kwai teow (the spelling is almost certainly wrong, but you get what I mean) both of which impressed with fresh "just cooked right now" flavours. They also offer their own home made chilli paste - way better than any commercial ones, slightly chunky, made on chicken stock and with 5 spice makes it so memorable I'd come back here just for this condiment. Best Chinese in Brisbane. The family partners from Treasure Inn offer to Brisbane a rare chance to taste beautifully cooked Chinese cuisine. Their dishes are uncluttered yet offer you a genuine taste of what Chinese cooking is all about. This place is a treasure.. I went here last night with some of my family and we all really loved the food and the owners are so friendly; they will even cook custom orders happily.<br/>I personally had their special steamed pork rib dish and was very impressed; the combination fried rice was the best I have ever had.<br/>I will be coming back here and definitely suggest people to try it if you like chinese food.<br/>Also, very affordable meals that will really fill you up and a special chilli sauce if you like it hot.

Treasure Inn - Graceville, Brisbane. What I have heard about this place is purely word-of-mouth. This is a small family-owned Chinese eatery that as a change of tide is more of the traditional and authentic variety of Chinese as opposed to the more familar pan-Asian of white suburbia. I was at night class at university, so I had to miss out on the main part; fortunately, there were some left-overs when I got back. <br/><br/>From the selection and taste that I had, this could well be a very good place to go to one day. It was left-over and warmed up, but I could tell that the whole salt & pepper flounder would have been amazing fresh in the restaurant. The flesh was white and soft with a whole lot of subtle flavours in the skin of the fish. How many other little local takeaways would vouch for preparing something akin to this? <br/>There was also the Singapore noodles, which were very good. It was not a somewhat monochrome mixture of indistinguishable items; you could see the beef and the brocoli along with along with all sorts of freshly used items. The noodles were not greasy at all either, more props to this place. <br/>Finally, the stand out to me was the Kung Pow chicken. From what I was told about it and what I had that night, it reminded me a fair bit of a dish from a Korean restaurant in that you had to mix it through before you began which is what I did. It was truly spicy with equal amounts of meat and capsicum in it and had a base of homemade chili paste. Really, really good. <br/><br/>To truly know how this place is, I must make a journey there in the near future. In trying new things, I often am on the look out for proper Chinese food and here is one such place. Watch out for me there!

Best in Brisbane. Have dined at this restaurant at least two times a week, best Chinese in Brisbane, the food is fresh, all vegi's used are fresh, some home grown. Can to nothing but praise the cook and everything about this place. Have now eaten my way through the menu, but they add another twist, will prepare anything you want as long as you give them a little notice. Steamed fish to die for. Do yourself a favour and at least try one meal as I guarantee you will come back.<br/>greg

Graceville Gem. Drove past and saw the new banner and thought we would give this new restaurant a go. As soon as we opened the menu we knew we would be happy. We didn't have to pour through pages of the usual Chinese mega menu. Just a few choices and the meal was decided in seconds. We chose the steamed dim sims, ginger sizzling lamb and salt and pepper squid. The food was fresh, tasty and quick,(the dim sims were freshly made unlike another local restaurant that obviously uses frozen packet ones) as we love a bit of heat we were offered home grown, home made chilli which was amazing. Truly my husband is very hard to please and he wants to go back again tonight.! Owner Phil and and his chef dad are on a winner. They were attentive helpful and said if it isn't on the menu just ask and they can cook it. Cant wait to go back, great prices and BYO!

Fantastic asian restaurant!the food is flavoursome,steaming hot and delicious,with generous serves,the staffs are very friendly and welcoming and are happy to explain the dishes and make suggestions,the price are very reasonable,all things considered is very very solid choice for dinner,try it and you will love it,highly recommended!
