Brisbane's best ice cream is from Lick. OmG strawberry and salted nut brown butter are my favourites. Quite assuming interior, they let the ice cream speaks for itself. There's no hipsters running this joint that's for sure.
This place has been my go-to for so long now as it continues to never disappoint! Absolutely amazing ice cream served by super lovely staff.
Second time back at this place, wife suggested we go and find it on the first go. Good quality ice cream, nice crowds plenty of street parking.
Tables inside and out, great colors used and inviting. Plenty of flavors to choose from, but tonight shared with the little one as she wanted bubble gum. And it tasted like bubble gum, enjoyed it, and so did she.
We took a 1l take away, with the wife choosing strawberry and 2 other flavors which I could no remember. It will be enjoyed, and the pricing is great.

When you want a good quality ice cream without travelling to South Brisbane, take a drive to Graceville and miss the crowds.
Daughter was having a bad day and wanted an ice cream! We ended up here and shared the Banana Split! It was enough for 2 and it was superb! The banana beautifully Caramelised and warm against the cold and flavourful Vanilla bean and Condensed Milk Ice Creams. Topped with the crunch of the flaked Almonds and the excellemt butterscotch sauce and drizzled milk chocolate. We were in a sugar high heaven!
They are quite happy to let you sample the flavours too. Plenty to chose from and they do have regular flavours but new flavours at different times too.
Beat the crowds and head to Graceville when you have a craving for a creamy decadence!
Really great ice creams! I tried their spiced Apple cider and it was great! Service was great as well. Definitely a place I'd return to if I want ice cream and am in the area.
I am not really a ice cream fan, but I purchase a 1 litre tub from the store when I visited with a friend. Best ice cream hands down. Definitely different from whats out there today. Only down side is, it is so easy to eat lol I bought the ice cream for my wife and ended up eating most of it! Great product. I will be back to try some other flavours, on behalf of my wife of course lol .. Macadamia Praline is the tub I bought.
Truely Great ice cream. The BEST in Brisbane if not the Best in Queensland. This is how ice cream should be. Quality produce & ingredients, real vanilla beans all skilfully crafted to produce real quality. I believe the classics are best!! Like their Vanilla Bean & couverture chocolate. However their more vibrant flavours also well exceed expectations. Absolutely delicious !!!
Not only does Grant make THE best ice cream I have EVER had, he always greets me with a smile and hello whenever I go there. I have brought many family members, friends and AirBnb guests to his fine establishment and everyone agrees with me- the best ice cream, the most innovative flavours and the best atmosphere. My family look forward to birthdays/christmas because they know that I will always get them a tub each. I love to support local and Grant is truly a testament to what it means to be the best, yet remains humble.
Popped into Lick with some friends for a dessert catch up.. I had to try they signature dish the doffle & picked Nutella one. I loved everything but the doffle, it was small, boring & didn't taste fresh. However my friends loved their icecreams & they had heaps of interesting flavors to choose from. The customer service was friendly & the place was clean. I'd go back to try a few different flavors but would stear clear of the doffle next time.
Good ice cream if not a little on the expensive side? Still, good to go for a treat & good opening times I.e. Late 😀
Will no doubt be visiting in the hotter weather again!
For me, this is the benchmark in Brisbane for icecream. An amazing range of flavours, made with simple quality ingredients. You can taste the difference!! Seriously good... :-)
Love the doffles (doughnut waffles), abosolutely delightful! Iced tea is not too sweet and very refreshing which is an awesome combo to rich dessert!

Inside the frozen lair sits a modern day Merlin exiled for butterscotch saurcery and practicing the dark chocolate arts. Frankenstein flavours are given creation while deadly doffle-gangers plot to steal your hunger. Absolutely delicious, creamy ice cream and friendly staff - what more could you need? $6.50 for a double scoop (we chose cookie dough and peanut butter//salted caramel). Love that it stays open until 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights! Perfect for that after dinner treat. A little bit out of our way to get to (which is probably a great thing for our waistlines!) but easy enough parking.
Lick! Ice Cream in Graceville is a little out of the way of our usual circuits, even for the lure of ice cream, but the additional incentive of a complimentary treat from Zomato was enough to persuade us to venture out. You may already recognise Lick! (I’m going to do away with the exclamation mark soon) from places such as your local independant grocer, your favourite restaurant (though you may not actually be aware of it), or your refridgerator. Starting out as a manufacturer and supplier, they have since moved on to opening their own ice cream parlour, which, as previously mentioned, is in Graceville.
Lovely ice cream joint on Brisbane's west. Famous for the Ekka strawberry sundaes, Lick's permanent location is in suburban Graceville and is the best special dessert shop around. All the ice cream is very indulgent and creamy, but can be a bit sweet if you're not a sweet tooth. I've really enjoyed the desserts from there including the sandwich and brownie. Would recommend you stop by!
Ice-cream was super realistic. I thought their flavours were secretly printed with 3D printers?!?? however, their interior entertainment was displaying pleasurable vistas of other interior areas of the restaurant. amazing. entertainment was 10/10.
I knew that there was a ice creamery in Graceville, but was not sure where it was exactly. We decided that we would hunt it down and give it a try. Beyond happy that we did that! The staff are super friendly and nice! They are helpful and make you feel like you are a regular even on your first visit. The flavours are interesting and surprisingly delicious. The redskin ice cream tastes exactly like a redskin. All the ice creams are so creamy but is not over the top! We enjoyed it so much we went back a few days later. Thankfully the same staff weren't on, but they had the same friendliness and helpfulness. It is a wonderful dining experience.
Popcorn and Honey flavour. Yes. Very acceptable coffee. Staff always polite and friendly. Highly recommended- kids and parents all catered for.

I love Lick. The staff are amazing, they are always friendly and helpful. Lick has the best customer service and ice cream. I go to Lick at least once a week, for both the amazing ice cream and the amazing staff that work at Lick. I would highly recommend Lick as it is an amazing place to go and relax and have a chat with friends/family. Lick is also pet friendly.
I don't know if their batches change slightly because they make the ice cream themselves, but going back after a good first time wasn't the same. Strawberry ice cream the first time tasted just like the EKKA.
Finally, we made it down to this brilliant ice-creamery. The Ice cream as usual exceeded expectations. To much delight, there was diversity with flavours including the ole fave rum n raisin. Lick ice cream has the creamiest texture, rich but not over bearing and you can devour by the tub. The main man behind this business, you are the ice cream GOD! We are so happy to see your thriving business in our neighbourhood. We will be back!
Ice cream sandwiches, everyone is doing it but few are doing it right. This place is doing it so right. I don't have a sweet tooth but this is now my go to desert. Check out my picture and come join the party!

Unique flavours. We came in a big group and all enjoy our desserts. Love the coco sorbet, roasted banana, nut butter and roasted almond, spiced apple flavours!
Best ice cream ever!! I'm so happy that Lick finally opened up a store. They have the creamiest ice cream with creative, distinct flavours. My favourites are: spiced apple cider, strawberry (from the yummy Ekka sundaes), salted nut brown butter with roasted almond, salted caramel, condensed milk, and redskin! Their desserts are great too - try the ice cream sandwich with shortbread and ice-cream of your choice. Lick also serves Toby's Estate coffee which is perfect to balance out the sweetness. If you're not near Graceville, I assure you it's worth the drive!
Love the variety of ice cream flavours, theres a flavour for every mood! Favourites on the menu include the Banana Lickity Split, the ice cream sandwich and the chocolate milkshake!
All ice creams are made with natural and raw ingredients, meaning no nasties! Salted nut brown butter with roasted almond is a must-try.
The smiles from the staff definitely made my day!

I love this icecream. The flavours here are some of the best I have ever tried and sorbets are so fresh. Mandarin and mint sorbet was amazing. Its a new shop with nice staff.

So Lick is probably the happiest place on earth, because WHO DOESN'T LOVE ICE CREAM. I think we've been there 3 times since it's opened (after scoffing it all the time at Eat Street and finding the tubs around Brisbane), and I'm pretty sure that Ice Cream sandwich changed my life. Also, note that the Caramel Milkshake is the most insanely good caramel milkshake ever.
The place looks super cute, and the staff are the friendliest people. Sorry guys, but I think you'll have to get used to seeing me way too often! :)
Have visited Lick icecream twice since it has opened, it's that good! I was a fan of their icecream before they opened the store, so now they have a retail outlet with tonnes of flavours, I couldn't be happier! These guys make the famous strawberry icecream for the Ekka, so mist of you know it's good.
The icecream sandwich was amazing, made with a buttery short bread biscuit. I also haven't tried a flavour I of icecream I didn't like!
