Brisbane's best ice cream is from Lick. OmG strawberry and salted nut brown butter are my favourites. Quite assuming interior, they let the ice cream speaks for itself. There's no hipsters running this joint that's for sure.
This place has been my go-to for so long now as it continues to never disappoint! Absolutely amazing ice cream served by super lovely staff.
Second time back at this place, wife suggested we go and find it on the first go. Good quality ice cream, nice crowds plenty of street parking.
Tables inside and out, great colors used and inviting. Plenty of flavors to choose from, but tonight shared with the little one as she wanted bubble gum. And it tasted like bubble gum, enjoyed it, and so did she.
We took a 1l take away, with the wife choosing strawberry and 2 other flavors which I could no remember. It will be enjoyed, and the pricing is great.

When you want a good quality ice cream without travelling to South Brisbane, take a drive to Graceville and miss the crowds.
Daughter was having a bad day and wanted an ice cream! We ended up here and shared the Banana Split! It was enough for 2 and it was superb! The banana beautifully Caramelised and warm against the cold and flavourful Vanilla bean and Condensed Milk Ice Creams. Topped with the crunch of the flaked Almonds and the excellemt butterscotch sauce and drizzled milk chocolate. We were in a sugar high heaven!
They are quite happy to let you sample the flavours too. Plenty to chose from and they do have regular flavours but new flavours at different times too.
Beat the crowds and head to Graceville when you have a craving for a creamy decadence!
Really great ice creams! I tried their spiced Apple cider and it was great! Service was great as well. Definitely a place I'd return to if I want ice cream and am in the area.
I am not really a ice cream fan, but I purchase a 1 litre tub from the store when I visited with a friend. Best ice cream hands down. Definitely different from whats out there today. Only down side is, it is so easy to eat lol I bought the ice cream for my wife and ended up eating most of it! Great product. I will be back to try some other flavours, on behalf of my wife of course lol .. Macadamia Praline is the tub I bought.
Truely Great ice cream. The BEST in Brisbane if not the Best in Queensland. This is how ice cream should be. Quality produce & ingredients, real vanilla beans all skilfully crafted to produce real quality. I believe the classics are best!! Like their Vanilla Bean & couverture chocolate. However their more vibrant flavours also well exceed expectations. Absolutely delicious !!!
Not only does Grant make THE best ice cream I have EVER had, he always greets me with a smile and hello whenever I go there. I have brought many family members, friends and AirBnb guests to his fine establishment and everyone agrees with me- the best ice cream, the most innovative flavours and the best atmosphere. My family look forward to birthdays/christmas because they know that I will always get them a tub each. I love to support local and Grant is truly a testament to what it means to be the best, yet remains humble.
Popped into Lick with some friends for a dessert catch up.. I had to try they signature dish the doffle & picked Nutella one. I loved everything but the doffle, it was small, boring & didn't taste fresh. However my friends loved their icecreams & they had heaps of interesting flavors to choose from. The customer service was friendly & the place was clean. I'd go back to try a few different flavors but would stear clear of the doffle next time.
Good ice cream if not a little on the expensive side? Still, good to go for a treat & good opening times I.e. Late 😀
Will no doubt be visiting in the hotter weather again!
