Really great service
Great value for money
Cornbread and Brisket was spot on, and the bottomless batch coffee was the icing on the cake.
Next time I need to come back for dessert š.
Chicken was nice but not really crispy, however very moist inside. Loved the sauces especially hot honey butter.
Will come back soon!

The flavours used at this place are great and there's a wide range of food to choose from, however the 2 times I've had brisket here, it's been fatty, chewy and tough. Sadly it really ruined what would've great meals.
The service was decent, not great, and the wait for meals was longer than expected considering a lack of customers on the occassions we visited. I'll be back again as the flavours are so nice - just hope the meat isn't a letdown again.
Certainly worth checking this place out though.

Great atmosphere and even better food!! Tried the chicken and waffles the first time which definitely didnāt disappoint. Had to come back a second time with a couple friends and we tried the big Texas tray! We got in as they started serving the BBQ meat so everything on the platter was to die for. Juicy, fall off the bone ribs, tender brisket, crispy chicken (get maple syrup on it) and a range of sides. Will definitely be back again

Iāve been meaning to try out this place since it recently opened, and got to try it for lunch today. We ordered the brisket meal and the Maple Chicken Waffle, and a couple of other things including the Young Henry Pale Ale, which is a solid beer to accompany barbeque.
The brisket was good - a real nice bark, good smoke ring, and very tender. It passed the āpull testā nicely. Most importantly, it had a rich beefy flavor that wasnāt overpowered by the rub or smoke.
The chicken was awesome!
The sides were really good (beans, slaw and fries), and everything was presented well.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual, fun and family friendly.
Iāll be back. š

Finally got to try this place out and was not disappointed. The brisket was good but the short rib was the real standout. Fall apart tender, no knife required just use your fork. Also liked that the chips were hot, well seasoned and quite plentiful. Overall a very enjoyable meal. Definitely going back to try out some of their other menu items.

1. Don't make me pay before I sit at my table
2. Don't charge public holiday surcharge. That's a very suburban backward move.
3. Serve real beer, or at least don't recommend beer that is nothing like what I ordered. Floral tasting hipster beer is not to my taste.
4. Maybe I offered the wrong food.,? Should I have had a burger or some wings. As one of your signature dishes the brisket was fatty and weird.
. I'm disappointed that so many times I have gone past this place thinking I must try that, and now I wish I hadn't tried it at all. Overpriced, inflated with surcharge, average food and poor drink choices. Afterthought, when I asked the waiter to take away my barely touched beer he did so without a word. No question what was wrong, would I like to order something else? Perhaps it gets returned often.

They make em' big in Texas! Checked out this new venue in Coorparoo Square on the recommendation of a friend. Work of advice - leave the best at home and wear your stretchy pants. We went for the share platter "Texas Tray" which was absolutely delicious. Had beef brisket, short ribs, pulled pork, fried chicken, cornbread, and a choice of four sides (we chose slaw, salad, sweetcorn, and fries). The fried chicken and short ribs were firm favourites. Will definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.

The meat was quite flavoursome, chips were awesome, serving style was a little strange. Overall quite good but not sure they are quite at 5 star level yet. Might try them again at some point.
