Review Sing's Asian Kitchen - Brisbane

I order PANANG CURRY & VEGETARIAN SATAY ...so reallyyy yummmyyy! Huge place , nice staff , good food đź‘Ť
Brooke
Huge menu with great potential however the chicken papaya salad was lacking flavour and the chicken was clearly old/bulk cooked earlier in the day. Very disappointing. My friends meals looked/smelt delicious though.

Don't sleep on this, it's Soooo Good! There a bunch of great dishes available, I recommend the Nasi Goreng, and the calamari! The staff are always friendly and everything is reasonably priced. It's a favourite of ours!

Super busy last night and they managed service really well. Booked in advance and table was reserved. Always good, servings well sized, super tasty Duck Salad and Young Chow Fried rice hard to beat. Always a good eat out for all-round Asian cuisine. Highly recommend it, take away available and best book in advance for dining in. Great service, fast and friendly.

Be aware your bill.. Or maybe they forget to update their menu. We was overcharged $1 for every dish. Don't recognise taste of VietNamese dishes.

Vegan and Gluten Free Options This is a really cool, down to earth eatery. There is lots on the menu to choose from and the waitress was very helpful with my vegan and gluten free needs. I ordered the laksa with tofu and unlike many other places, there was a really good amount of tofu and vegetables in the soup. It also had a good amount of spice. My partner ordered the Pad Thai (vegan option) which was nice, not really sweet like some places and had a good amount of tofu and vegetables in it as well. We will definitely be back. I'm keen to try more things on their menu!

Cannot rave enough about this place. Amazing food consistently, no matter what you order. Follow order instructions to a T. We don’t go anywhere else anymore because these guys are so good. Would give 10 stars if able.
Rob Jack
Super fresh and super quick. None of the dishes were even slightly oily and everything was delicious. Chicken cashew was spot on, great king prawns and the kids loved the wonton soup. Will most certainly be back soon

Great experience with the help of ubereats!

The food is average; what you find at any Asian restaurant. I will say the curry puffs were divine.

The rude service and tacky fit out brings it down terribly. The waiter has zero interest in customer service, scolding and snapping at us all night. The furniture is not comfortable and looks like it's from the dollar store. They should hire more staff - they can certainly afford to with the turnout - management must be stingy.

Sings have lost my vote, the quality isn't there anymore, same vegetables in most dishes, blend, tasteless and dry. Tonight I ordered some salt and spicy calamari -very dry, tasted old, no spice, Coconut prawns-dry, old no taste, Coconut fish- dry, spicy pork -dry and not spicy. A total waste of money. The only thing that tasted good was the prawn crackers. Too much on the menu!
FOODIE ADVENTURE
Been here a few times and the food has always been great. I asked for thai hot and we got thai hot. They have a great variety of food and it has never left me down. There chicken doesn't taste dry. My only issue l had in my last visit was the service. Granted me got there about 8:50pm so the guy serving us would have been tired but we left so rushed. We won't the only ones who felt rushed. We got our meals packed up because he said we had 10mins. I paid and when leaving said thank you the guy and he said nothing back. I found his customer service to be horrible but the food is great here. Just don't expect friendly service sometimes l guess.

Sing was often one of my go to for takeaway owing to its nearby location. Just got a chance for a dine in with my colleagues. The place was quite crowded with its limited seatings. Food was overall not too bad, good portions, reasonable prices and fast service.

The vegetarian curry puffs are amazing! I order them every time without fail! Sings is our go to local thai restaurant. Order the phad thai and the green curry, you won't regret it!
Ray Berry
Reasonably priced. Ordered chef special mango crispy chicken and San choi bad. The mango chicken sauce was too sweet but otherwise nice. San choi bad tasted nice however the chicken mince was too runny. Good location and clean surroundings

Went here for lunch and the place was still empty. The staff was so nice and accomodating. I ordered prik pao calamari which already included rice. I was so surprised that they gave a huge portion of the dish. Fortunately, the rice was in an acceptable portion. Despite the portion, I still managed to finish it all by myself.
The prik pao was so good. It was dominantly sweet. It was suppossed to be spicy yet it was not spicy enough for me. Should have ask for more spiciness. The calamari was perfectly blended with the veggetables and the sauces. It was a bit salty but it could be covered if you ate it with rice. This dish could be perfect if only they served a better quality of rice. The top of the rice was a bit dry which might be caused by rice cooker (perhaps). After all it was a nice lunch.

Totally disappointing. We ordered Hue spicy noodle soup, pointed out on the menu for the waiter and he repeated it correctly. He then brought out a bowl and said “Here is Pho”. Literally seeing Pho in front of us but worrying that we might have misheard it, we double checked with the kitchen. They admitted that we have wrongly made our orders. Anyway, 5 mins later, we got our Hue spicy noodle soup ready- and it is literally the noodles and beef from the previous bowl with a different soup covering it.
Ok, there might be miscommunication between the waiter and kitchen, but come on, you don’t fix your mistake by pouring a different soup on the same bowl of noodles and meat, and pretended like nothing happened. Was really hungry and in hurry for our flights, we ate but left almost the full bowl at the end, paid for all and gave our feedback directly to the shop. Unacceptably, there was no apology from staff and only the ignorance from the owner. What a shame!

Great food and service! Generous portions and speedy service :) First time here and will return.
Awesome menu! The waiter with the glasses is really nice!!!

Yep cant fault this place tasty tasty food and quick! Hard working caring people whose menu is wide enough for all lovers of asian food. Love the duck and basil. Very Very noisy but everyone is having fun and talking over each other.
Multiyoisi Mok
not good or authentic at all. they messed up the malaysian/singaporian chinese food. the satay was bad (how exactly do you mess up satay?) the char quey tiao shouldnt have so much vegetables . also took too long to arrive and definately not worth the price. the food is not a good example of asian food. its very telling when the restaurant is only popular with non asian people because asian people know that the real thing should taste better than this. i dont know how good the vietnamese dishes are we didnt order any but the malaysian/singaporian chinese food was definately not good.
David
I only review restaurants when I find a good one or a really bad one and this one makes the cut of a good one
Very friendly staff had the duck spring rolls they were great and chicken and cashew good too. Lots of variety and value is good. Will return

Thought what better way to soak up a Easter Monday than tucking into a big bowl of Beef Pho, and we decided Sings will do the job. Nothing fancy about the decor or settings on Sings, or the service which is prompt and polite. This place is known for no nonsense Asian dishes that come out thick and fast, and has a good local following. Having some San Choy boa for entree, nice little starter and then tucking into our Pho, the dish has all the smells of what to expect, good flavours and plenty of beef slices. Overall a nice Pho and meal for lunch. Only small complaint was having to ask for Chilli or sauce, as no salt/pepper or sauces on the tables. Good value food here though and plenty of choices.

Can't fault this place for a reliably delicious and authentic Asian meal. Returned many times and never disappointed. Great for groups as it can be quite noisy.
Bob D
I went there about 9 months ago, it was a busy night and the waiter took ages to get to us, when they did I asked for my food to be extra spicy and maybe for some chilli paste on the side. They forgot both, the noodle dish just had sliced chicken, and it was almost cold when they brought it out. By the time I had begun eating it was definitely cold.

Have been a loyal customer since sings first opened. We now live interstate but always put a Sings meal on our to-do list when in town. Red curry duck is the bomb, has been my favourite for 8 years and I'm still not bored.

I'm not saying things couldn't be improved with some fresh herbs, but even the takeaway is amazing, a hard feat for Thai food. Actually I've had 1 ordinary meal dining in, a seafood dish, not awesome, not to my taste. However I've had countless delicious takeaway meals, and the stream of other local customers supports this. Great pricing and great serving size.

Medium standard.. you can find carrot in any mains.. I have been in many Asian restaurants in SA, QLD, NSW but not satisfied with the food here.. no unique taste that I can find here..
Meowth
Disappointing Laksa

The staff here had rather a strong accent and we had an issue communicating. The custom service was below average on the Asian restaurant scale. I was seated in a crowded area and it was very noisy while the lighting was also dim, making it hard to read the menu which consisted of a mixture of asian dishes - jack of all trades style. I ordered a bowl of Laksa which lacked lustre and the broth was weak. There was only a few slices of chicken and cut veggies - definitely Asian stinginess!!!
Hungrygirl
I got some take away from here about six years ago which made me swear I would never contribute another cent to their business; it was a gluggy, flavourless mess, but a friend recently dragged me for lunch and nothing had changed. The staff weren’t friendly but the service was quick and efficient. I got the garlic chicken which was just average greasy, suburban Chinese and the steamed dim sims we shared were clearly out of a packet. I tried my friends Penang curry which was really heavy on the salt, the flavours certainly weren't balanced. I will never understand why this place is always so busy. No plans to head back here.

Today I met 4 others at Sings for a quick lunch. We had a choice of soft drinks and were brought water and menus.
Our five meals arrived quickly- 2 salads and 3 hot dishes.
My tasty pepper seafood was tasty and a generous serve. Squid, scallops, prawns and a lot of vegetables served with rice. The other hot meals were chicken laksa which was huge and full of Veges and noodles as well as vegetable pad Thai.
The salads were beef and chicken.
Water was replenished as soon as we finished.
The bill was split happily if we paid cash.
Great food and friendly service.
Cassie
Sings is definitely one of my favourite local restaurants. So reasonably priced especially for Rosalie, food is awesome. Panang curry is amazing. All of the curries are awesome. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years. The food is always delicious! The restaurant itself is nothing special but it's clean and simple. It can be a bit tight for space in there though as it's usually busy. Always good for a casual dinner with friends.
SweetRamekin
Sing's is a nice little Asian joint with a moderately priced menu and decent food. Pleasantly it also skips the tacky decorations and artwork present in some Asian restaurants. We ordered two takeaway salad bowls, both of which were tasty and some of the better ones I've had. Last time we came I was double charged on my card and when I showed this to the manager she was very nice and apologetic and sorted out our bill without fuss. The customer service was a refreshing change from some other restaurants, and was definitely noticed. All in all a great joint to check out for a cheap and casual dinner.

I love this place and am stoked its so close. It is the ultimate bang for buck.

Their golden bags have been a longtime favourite and are almost a delicious meal in themselves. My partner and mother are pretty addicted to the wontons-they are right up there apparently. Not very experienced with laksas, but the chicken one goes alright. Fried rice and pad thai are pretty stock standard delish.

Staff are always rushed because the place is always busy, but they are really nice. Especially the lady you pay for takeaway. Its a favourite local for sure

Sing's Asian Kitchen is a nice find - just a pity that car parks weren't! But that isn't the fault of the two young staff members, who could not have been more helpful and understanding as we three older ladies sought their counsel due to some dietary requirements, questions about the 80 something dishes available, and a request for a bit of menu "tweaking" was perfectly OK. No frills, but no fuss either. To the all-important fare: vegetarian laksa was bountiful in size, flavour, and included an incredible array of fresh vegetables (I lost count after 10). The waiter didn't bat an eyelid when I asked for some fish balls amongst the mix! The chicken Char Kway Teow had us all gasping at the generous serve. As this particular fellow diner had not been feeling too well and didn't know what to expect from the dish, it was very heartening to see her demolish the contents of the entire plate - at break neck speed, it must be observed! The third in our party chose duck in peppercorns - one of the chef's specials, I think. She pronounced it to be delicious, but like me needed a doggy bag in order to enjoy the rest for dinner. We shared a bottle of wine, and the cost per head was just over $19. I found the food to be authentic, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Very impressed with the young man 'running the show' too. It's a cheap and cheerful little place with no airs and graces. Now if they could just swap the number of flies with the amount of carparks, it would have been a score of 5.

It's fresh and tasty takeaway Asian cuisine, the service is fast and very friendly. We have enjoyed everything we have ordered so far and it has become a regular in our household!
Coffee Jo
I never understand why this place has such a high rating. I've given it so many chances and while the prices are good, the food is just not.

I frequent sings quite regularly with friends, family and my partner. Super reasonable and I love the vegetarian options especially the mussaman curry and the vege curry puffs. The curry serving size could definitely feed two or be leftovers. It's always super busy so expect to fight for a table even midweek but the service is generally quite quick, quicker than takeaway.
I love going here to grab cheap take-away when I don't want to cook. Have loved everything I've ever ordered and it's definitely good value for money. If you want a nice place to go to catch up with friends over dinner or for a romantic date this is NOT the place to go. Have only ever dined in once and found it way way way too busy. They pack you in like sardines and you have to scream just to hear each other. Portion sizes also seemed smaller on dine in compared to take away.
Ronnielui2003
Have been here a few times for gathering with some old university peers. It is always packed with diners and I would say that there is not much rooms for you to enjoy your dish. Having said that it is surprisingly to be a very successful Asian restaurant among so many food oultets in the same area. I think the reasons are: they cover up different Asian cuisines such Vietnamese, Malyasian, Thai and Chinese; prices are reasonable to cheap, and food standard is slightly higher than average. Maybe they are busy so I don't think there is much service to offer though so that there is still rooms to be improved.
Sophie
Sings in Rosalie has never let me down on both food and service, however not so impressed with Coorparoo Sings food, the last few times I've been served soggy vegetables and bland sauces...
Baines815
Miss. Great food, great price and such quick service! I live with 8 people, it's always our first choice!! Love your work!!

Never going back here again. I have been going to Sing's for a number of years now, recently the service has become terrible and the food has declined in taste. I called to make a telephone order said the wait would be 20 minutes. When i got there 20 minutes later i still had to wait over 30 minutes for my food, then when i got home my order was incorrect. They asked me to come back and they would fix the order, i demanded a refund with them only offering me a free bottle of diet coke for the inconvenience. Never returning, this was the second time they have done this.
ElCraigo
Am I missing something?. Packed out place, continuously, so I'm prepared to say it was a bad night. The food was just bland and below standard. Very disappointing, and most probably won't be back.
Violetdb
Bland unauthentic food
Caitlin368
Service has gone down. Have been going to Sings for a number of years, usually for take away. Recently the service has seriously declined though. The take away used to be extremely efficient, but lately they have taken at least 10-20 mins longer than indicated to get our order ready. Tonight when we went up for the second time to ask for our order we saw it sitting there, but then they took our mussamum beef out, poured it into a bowl, served it to a dine in customer and told us our order wasn't ready yet. The food is still delicious but the frustration with sevice is starting to get to be a bit much.

This is amazing. Honestly, this is one of the best Asian restaurant in Brisbane. The food is to die for- I recommend the salmon pie fish (it isn't a pie, or salmon for that matter but it's damn good)- this dish is by far one of the best meals i have ever eaten. The entrees are superb too!! I love the coconut drink and would suggest you try it!

Service is good and wait time is superb. You will need to book if you are going for dinner on any night of the week it is so popular!!!

I recommend this restaurant ahead of any other!!! You must go!!
Ilovesings
Spring rolls. Fantastic service and amazing food. Would be a great idea to have monthly deals. E.g. If two people order 35b from either Rosalee or Coorparoo in the month of October, they receive additional spring rolls and dim sims free of charge (with extra dipping sauce and refresher towels.) Thankyou for your time.

Always awesome. Been going to Sing's for almost 6 years, very reliable and super quick, big helpings of delicious food, it's easy to understand why it's been a local favourtie for yonks !!
My husband, who has a serious prawn allergy, can also vouch that the kitchen must be kept super well as he doesn't detect traces of cross contamination in his prawn-less dinner like we've had at other venues!
Baby Beets
Cheap and cheerful. We come here once a week - usually for takeaway but dine in on occasion.

Food is always freshly cooked, fast service and at a great price. $10 for a veggie pad Thai to takeaway - you can never go wrong.
Jorge
Anything on the menu is pretty amazing. Good portions and it's all fresh.
My only bad thing to say about the restaurant is the very cramped space it's in and waiting for take-away orders are a bit frustrating in said small space.
Azin
Yummy dishes for reasonable prices. We were a group of 8 friends and family and all of us loved the food and service. I highly recommend this to everyone.
Pogo
What's happened?. Sings had been a favourite for some time, but something has gone wrong based on last visit 6/7/14. Chicken satay was tough as old boots, favourite green chicken curry has lost its body, 2 different spicy beef dishes (mongolian and basil-chilli-black bean) very chewy and bland. Didn't seem as busy as usual but had to wait some time for takeaway when arrived at advised time. Will be some time before we think about returning, and there are too many options available to risk another disappointment. Noticed that a review from the day after almost identical so not an isolated problem.
Delia
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer but...Meeeh... I've been twice. I hope I can avoid another visit. So noisy and crowded it's difficult to get in and out of your seat, since they packed us in so tightly you can bump elbows with the person behind you. Heaven forbid someone at the end of the table needs to use the bathroom. For me, the food is just something to put in my face while I wait for the evening to be over. At least the vegetables are fresh, but everything is so cloyingly sweet. You're not really going to get away from overly sweet/oily chinese/thai food in brisbane unless you venture all the way to sunnybank. So I'm not disappointed, but I don't understand the popularity of this establishment...other than it's cheap I guess? Maybe I'm just a weirdo. For those of you who enjoy it; it's all yours!
Uhwg1950
Some People don't seem to've a Clou about Food.. Have been going there for a # of years now. NEVER been disappointed yet!
Amin
Good food but brought our entree after main! Thats an epic fail. But food was very good so was the service.
Belinda Zordan
Great restaurant. Delicious, affordable and great variety. Love the Chilli lemongrass tofu.
Hux
Completely overrated. I don't understand why this place gets rated so highly. I didn't like it the first time, but came back because I thought I'd missed something. I hadn't. Very average food and terrible service. We had to ask multiple times for menus, to order, and for the bill.
BrisReviewer
Great food every time. Come here many times and its always the best! So cheap and quality food!
Simon
Its a shame. Went to the Coorparoo outlet. Exceptionally poor service. Meals ordered but not provided, staff who have no idea, entrees forgotten. Noisy atmosphere. Food just average, nothing to rave about. Think its a bit overpriced as well.
Yiwen.hor
Happy customer. Simple looking restaurant along rosalie but serves fabulous food. Waiters approached us and tended to us right away when we reached the doorstep of the restaurant. However, we waited for quite a while for the food to be served. Saving grace would be all the dishes that we ordered were served together so we did not have to wait further. Favourite dish would be the xo beef, pad thai and sweet & sour pork. Heard a lot of good reviews about the green curry and duck spring roll... Might try that on the next visit- Yes, def making another visit to that restaurant.
Gradelle
Great asian food in the western suburbs. I come here regularly for friday lunches at work and this place never disappoints. Whether you are trying the pad thai, green curry, beef xo or thai fish mango salad, they all taste good! If you are coming on friday-sat nights, be sure to book as they get super busy!
C Khera
The food here was disappointing for such a highly rated venue. Asian food for whities. Lacked flavour and spice.
Flicky
Fast, delicious and so cheap! Consistent too!
Massimo Alzubi
I absolutely love it! The menu has a wide variety of Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai food. Everything I've tried was absolutely delicious. My favorites are Chicken satay sticks for entrée and Thai red curry, I also love the Mongolian lamb, green Thai curry and mussman curry. The meals are always huge and have an ample Amount of vegetables and meet.. I absolutely love it! The staff are very friendly, and the prices are very cheap comparing to the quality. It's my new addiction :)
Besteats
Always spot on. Amazing place. Been going there for years and is always the take away option for the family. I think sings offers the best Asian food in brisbane. Great/ fresh flavours, sizeable portions for such a great price. As it is a small venue it is very cramped if you dine it- also you need to book early! Great place, and will always be a favourite to the locals
Jonathan Mayes
Superb! Great food, service and buzz.... Lucky we made a booking... Sing's Asian Kitchen was packed with a great buzz of activity. Despite how many people were seated for service and the constant stream of takeaway we received excellent and very fast service.

Food was fantastic! Highly recommended are Duck Spring Rolls, Sang Choi Bao, Salt and Spicy Calamari, oh and the Peppercorn Roast Duck. Yum!
Alana
LOVE LOVE LOVE. I come here at least once a week or every fortnight. The food is always tasty, best variety and SOOO cheap. I am one for service, and you do usually have to wave them down to order but i'll forgive that for how cheap it is. Plus when ever I have had a issue with anything they have always been apologetic and wanted to fix it as soon as possible. As long as i'm not being intentionally mis-treated I can forgive and enjoy the food :)
Alison M
Great value & tasty!!! Asked if they could add more vegetables & less noodle to my pad thsi dish as am pregnant and can't fit as much carbs in as usual & they were more than happy to do this. Very busy even on a Monday night & it's easy to see why.
Eflord
Always busy, but so worth it. This place is always busy, and for good reason. the food here is amazing. I've only ever had one bad dish and that was because I was expecting something completely different. My fault not theirs.

I could live on the Duck Spring rolls!!!
Katie Bridget
Best Asian food ever!. The menu displays a wide variety of food, including vegetarian options. The service is quick and efficient and the food is amazing! The best Asian food I have tasted so far!
Paulines
Fabulous. The food is always fresh and delicious. Cheap and cheerful - great value.
Yelena
Normally a huge fan of Sings and regular visitor but tonight we ordered takeaway and the little old lady at the till got the order wrong then charged us again (after we had paid when we initially ordered) but paid in cash so no receipt. Not in a great hurry to go back now.
Aussieerin
Love Sings Asian Kitchen. This Sings Asian Kitchen is the best on the Northside.. Great for Lunch and also a great place for catching up with friends for Dinner. Entrees are amazing and mains are divine....
Jeremy
So glad this is close by. Wow there's a lot on Sing's menu. I find it really hard to go past their yellow soft shell crab dish. I haven't seen it elsewhere and it tastes awesome (though I do wish they'd only use crab legs). They can get really busy but you can see they work really hard and have systems in place to deal with it. I've never had to wait long when dining in or getting take away :)

Brill-yant. "An asian treat you don't have to go to sunnybank for" RRR circa 2013.

What's going on? Been a while since I've reviewed and I must admit I was a little hesitant to review this little gem because I'm here so frequently (like half of bloody Brisbane, am I right?) and could have given away my identity. Anyway I digress, cheap, quality Asian fusion here... It's obviously from a foreign land but its out of this world amazing. Scuse the pun ladies and gents.

Start yourself off with some San choi bow wow wow

Pros: delightful, affordable
Negs: no VIP card, only serve 3 San choi bows per serve (gotta get to 4 aye)

Xoxo RRR
Glomeshgirl
Warning they use a lot of MSG. Go to bed with a bottle of water on your bedside table to relieve the salty tongue night horrors.
Emily May
Love this place! All the meals I've had have been great and reasonably priced. My favorites are Yiu Ko Ha, Thai fried rice and chicken and cashew nuts. Definitely recommend it!!
Boon Chang
Great food but food portion has reduced since our last visit
Tia.
Bang of flavour!!. A friend brought us there today, when i first heard about the name, i was like, what? another Asian restaurant? most of the "asian" restaurants in Brisbane are pretty much influenced by Aussie/western culture, it's not authentic anymore.

But this little restaurant surprised me with its yummy dishes and non-stop crowded environment.

My friends ordered couple of seafood dishes, it was so delicious, rich and full of flavours. I personally ordered a very nice chilli tarmarind king prawn dish topped with peanuts , recommended by their friendly staff.

It was just amazing..Good recommendation from the staff, done a good job in keeping their customers back.

As an asian restaurant, I can't say that it is really cheap, I can find cheaper one, but with such a good quaility, it is all worth it.

First impression: Good food, reasonable price, friendly staff, crowded all the time!
Jim Smith
Love love love sings!! Great food, quick and affordable
Matthew Keyser
Great meal. They have just moved to the corner of the same block of shops. New fit out is very nice. Not cheesy like some Asian restaurants. Each course came quickly (except dessert). Food was fresh, crisp vegetables and nice flavours. We will definately be going back. We had chicken satay sticks, duck spring rolls, pad se heaw, Mongolian lamb & fried ice cream.
N
Terrible. The food was over salty (and I like a lot of salt), Mongolian beef was full of soggy vegetables that still had other sauces on them from when they were on someone else's plate in another dish (it was obvious). The entrees were bland and the service was average. Atmosphere was more like a busy service station than restaurant.
Foodlover
Alot of variety to chose from.fast service however ambiance is not there. Very busy and loud. Food is great though
Dave Richards
We have been regulars at Sings for a few years now and the food is always fresh, tasty and the servings generous. This time went with good friends and one very fussy but he was eating off others plates throughout the night. Up there with the best of its type in Brisbane!
30centcone
Quality.. I think this is an example of how to run restaurant.

Great, tasty food. That comes out quickly and doesn`t hurt the wallet.
Dare I say it, Caucasian Australians with master chef aspirations can learn a thing or two from this place.

Keeping it real guys, Thankyou!
Bryony
Always delicious. Fresh, fast and very popular!
Jon
Great food, amazing prices. Sings is a busy place for obvious reasons, the food is inexpensive and delicious. You will not walk away hungry with generous servings. The Tamarind Prawn I ordered was fantastic. The service is fast and efficient.
Bron
Fresh, extremely fast and affordable - we'll be back.
Rachel Dean
Fabulous food, great service. Can reccomend the chilli black bean mussels and the vegetarian pad Thai. Looking around, there are lots of very happy people here. You'll do well to eat here! We will be back...
Alana
Amazing!. Sings is mine and my twin sisters fav restaurant! We eat here far to often but we just can't stop. The food is amazing. They are always packed and busy but we just love the whole atmosphere here. The staff are so friendly and always remember us. If your looking for a cheap byo Asian restaurant with amazing food sings in the place to go!
Jim Mckee
I have not been for dinner yet but have had lunch on several occasions. The king prawns with chilli and black beans is my favourite and now I order it every time. Decor, service and atmosphere are not that great, but above average for cheap asian food. Always busy for a good reason, the food is great.
Matthew
Sings presents as a nice restaurant, the PVC blinds could do with a bit of a wash but otherwise it's clean and welcoming Enthusiastic staff greet customers, unfortunately their concept of "not hot" means the equivalent of only an entire handful of chilli seeds so just watch out there! Food is excessively oily but most Asian food seems to be.
Otherwise a nice place, worth a try.
Steve
Amazing!! but book ahead. I can see why this place is always booked out. Amazing food!! the soft shell crab is to die for, Just book in advance to avoid disappointment!
Freddie
Brilliant. You simply can't go wrong here. Every dish I have ever tried has been delicious, fresh and the service is efficient and fast.
Michael Cristoforo
For an Asian resturant, most people consider a place that looks so out of date that 1985 has called and they want the resturant back.
But not here at Sing's. It is clean and simple, but the decor isn't reminiscent of the mid 80's era.
The food is fresh and doesn't have that I'll be hungry again later feel to it. It is simple but could be found in an upmarket place that could be reminiscent of the Flower Drum in Melbourne without the exorbitant price tag.
The three dishes that I personally recommend are the Peking duck, the soft shell crab and the dry red curry (great for those who aren't a fan of coconut milk).
Lisa
Amazing! A consistent performer. Quick service, all meals deliver on quality ybut expect to be pushed out the door.
Barb
Love this place. I have been here several times. Love it. However, bookings are essential as this place is very small.
BT
Lovely but loud. Sings Asian kitchen has great food! It's a very popular restaurant so make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Also be prepared to speak loudly because the tables are very close together and always full making the restaurant very loud and hard to have conversation. Besides that it's a greta place for an asian meal.

Great restaurant! Lovely people and delicious food. Very Reasonable pricing. 10/10.

Dined in on a very busy Saturday night and was impressed by the fast and professional service - not to mention the food! Everything we ordered was great especially the duck spring rolls (soooo tasty) and the Peking king prawns are a must to try - very indulgent! Sings has a great casual atmosphere, great service, and most importantly delicious food. Definitely will be back. Yum!

Went there two Saturday ago at 7.30pm. It was packed but got a table straight away for my girlfriend and I. Dishes were served very quickly. Can't complain at all. Food was nicely presented and tastes awesome! Great value too!

Cheap eat, great food and buzzing atmosphere. We were impressed with this compact little asian explosian. Lots of variety on the menu and great flavours in all our meals. We even had left overs to take home, with such decent portion sizes. We did have to eat a little earlier than planned as we'd left our booking a little late. Although service was great, we were on the production train to get in and out, but suited us for the evening. A thumbs up for us. We will be back

Cheap food, good sizes.. Sings is a great restaurant if you want decent, cheap food. Nothing lavish or extravagant, but good food for the price.

I would like more atmospheric surroundings - and the tables are very close together.
Mmmmmm
Asian Odyssey. Very popular, which is the best indicator of the standard of food!! Delicious meals, very reasonable portion sizes and GREAT prices! And it's great how they bring plastic containers so you can take any of your leftovers home (if you're like us and have eyes bigger than your belly this is a welcome touch).

Atmosphere is definitely boisterous as its only a small place and is always (understandably) packed. Remember to book ahead for groups and/or weekend dinner times!

Food is tasty and good value, will go again. Had a special fried rice loved it. Busy little place, reminds of some of the Singaporian restaurants I have eaten in. Service was not so good, no real interaction or care shown with that said no rudeness. The food definitely makes up for the lack of customer service though.

Great food, service so so. Sing's is cheap, with lovely meals. Service can be shocking, especially for takeaway orders. Definately worth a visit.

Cheap & Cheerful is Splendid. We love it! Always packed it seems, but worth the wait. It's a small tight space and everyone knows what they are in for, when it comes to atmosphere, but that doesn't matter because the food is great and fast. Love it for take away or to dine in... don't expect a lot of room to dine, just expect cheap and cheerful! Thank you Sing's
