Review Rice Paper Vietnamese Cuisine - Brisbane

Our favourite place to get crispy skin chicken. Flavorful, tender and crispy! Pho is pretty good too. Atmosphere is casual dining. If you go to vietnam, the style would be similar.

First of all, the girl waitress have very bad attitude, don’t know if they changed ownership or anything but the customer service is so bad. The girl was giving us the dirty look, like she didn’t want to served anyone, when to order she spoke in a bad tone of voice when ordering . Came here with my friends to eat, food came out quick which was good but the food was eh, I order no.40 and the noodles were so hard , tasted like it wasn’t cook properly, ordered a soda chanh, it just tasted just straight as soda ask the waitress could you add some sugar syrup to it , instead he added more soda . Still tasted the same no changed to it . We also order no.59 black pepper steak with rice , you get 100g of beef and rice for $15.99 not worth it, the cucumber on there was very dry and sour . Then order no.23 the pho tai, tasteless , it wasn’t great. Definitely do not recommend.

Staff is great, food is superb. There's good amount of choices available. You are also allowed to mix and match ingredients to individualise your soup pho. Prices are affordable. Best to dine in, can get crowded at meal times. Definitely worth a try

This’s a very good place to enjoy Vietnamese food. I fall in love with their spicy beef noodle soup, that was amazing. Especially, their staffs were super friendly, I have to say that they have a very good customer service- always available when we need help. Strongly recommended

There's quite a lot of mixed reviews for this restaurant but decided to give it a try anyway. Maybe owners have changed several times and staff have changed as well. I can only comment on this one dish and it's their special beef pho. I thought it was quite nice, soup had good umami flavour, there's various pieces of beef. The pho came out within 5 minutes of ordering which is unbelievably fast. Customer service was attentive and customer orientated. I would return just for the pho and possibly try other items on the menu. There's also a 2% card surcharge which is a bit high. This bowl of pho has gone up in recent year, it's now $16.9

Came here with my dad and his friend for lunch not long ago. Wasn’t too busy, 2 staff could handle with a bit of stress but there was 3 so should be fine. Regardless, the staff started walking away before I had finished my order… Whilst eating I noticed the staff were sort of eyeing our table, I don’t know if they regularly do that but I’m self conscious of how I eat so I tend to watch the eyes of people around me whilst eating. I ordered pork n prawn rolls + a side of steamed rice + a soy milk drink. A couple came in not long later. They got a soy milk as well, and got it long before I did. I had to go up again to get my drink. My dad’s friend went up as well to order his drink but had to ask for it a second time before they started prepping it. By prep I mean take the lid off and put a straw in it. Staff appeared to just be chilling behind the register. As a waitress myself, I can definitely understand the annoyance of a table asking for things over and over or one by one, however the area is small and only takes a few steps to take from register to any table. The food was alright, rice was sort of dry.

This place is the bomb 💣 really awesome food, my favorite is number 46 It’s a french beef and vegetable Poh! Very yummy! Staff are very friendly and food delicious 😋

I can recommend the different varieties of Beef Pho here. My Pho Dac Biet was very good!

There aren't many things more comforting than a hot bowl of noodle soup on cold nights, and this pho from Rice Paper Vietnamese Cuisine in Warrigal Square stayed super hot from the shop to home, to warming the belly 😋

Our order:
* rare beef noodle soup, $13.50
* lemongrass chicken broken rice, $13.50

Our takeaway order was ready in under 10 minutes, and both meals were deliciously satisfying. Another top notch experience from one of my favourite local spots.

Wow! It has been over four years that I have not been back since my last review. After my friend sold this business quite a few years ago, I was too lazy to explore. It should be the time to revisit so I made it last night for a quick dinner.
We arrived on 5:45pm and was lucky to occupy a table. Ordered the rare beef noodle soup and the Hue’s spicy noodle soup. Both soups came very quick to our table. Soup bases of the noodles presented their own character. They were both very tasteful. Proteins came with generous portions. Honestly, I could tell the difference between the current and the old management.
I am glad to see the consistency.😋
Previous rating: Mar 2016 4.5/5
This is always our go to place for a vietnamese fix. Service is always fast and food is of great quality and taste. Pho noodle soup has a wonderful depth to the broth and we regularly order the beef brisket noodle soup which I would recommend! We have tried most things on the menu and nothing has disappointed us so far.

Delicious Vietnamese food

We visited this Vietnamese restaurant at Runcorn Plaza on a busy Sunday lunch time. I chose the hu tieu xao (fried flat rice noodles) with beef and my husband had the bun rieu (crab, pork mince & tomato vermicelli soup). The bun rieu was so delicious that we piled in and forgot to photograph it! Service is fast and efficient and the prices are quite reasonable.

Tried this local Vietnamese restaurant for the first time the other night and I can understand why it’s always so busy. The food is fresh and flavourful and I thoroughly enjoyed the pho. The broth is so rich and peppery. We also tried the pork and chicken spring rolls, both of which were super tasty. The beef and pineapple vermicelli was the first of that type we have tried. The soup reminded me of Chinese hot and sour soup. It has the same tangyness and thickened consistency. Overall a great meal.

Needing my weekly Beef Pho fix I make a beeline for Warrigal Square. Walking in I ask the Manager for a Combination Beef Pho (Dac Biet). Salad and Herbs are immediately brought to the table. I see a lonely Basil sprig and ask for more. No problem!

Within 5 minutes my lunch arrives. Served steaming hot, the Beef broth is delicious but the serve of sliced Beef Brisket, sliced Raw Beef, Beef Balls, Beef Tripe and Beef Tendon is inadequate. I really enjoy this bowl of soup noodles but I run out of meat so I leave a third of my noodles.

The serving of beef and offal at Inala and Darra restaurants is much more generous. I would have given this meal a perfect score but 1 point is deducted resulting in an overall score of 4.
More meat please Rice Paper!🥩

Been coming here for years. Great local Vietnamese food with quick and friendly service. It can get pretty busy so we usually try to avoid peak times during the weekends.

This is my go to restaurant for rice paper rolls. Their presentation and quality of ingredients are one of the best I've had. They are consistently good and I will be a regular here.

My menu items of choice here are:
- the rice paper rolls (any variety)
- chicken Maryland with tomato rice
- wonton noodle soup
- beef brisket noodle soup

They also do a decent grilled pork chop with rice but the pork can feel a bit dry.
Marco
Super tasty food that arrives very quickly after ordering. Awesome service, staff were very welcoming even when we were waiting outside for a table. The food was delicious, especially the rare beef pho and the fried chicken rice - both had a perfect portion too.
@lydiaeatsbrisbane
This Vietnamese restaurant has authentic Vietnamese cuisine with sizeable portions. The restaurant can get very busy, especially at night, so service can sometimes be quite hasty and the seating is very tight to fit as many customers inside as possible. The prices here are slightly higher than Inala and even 'That Viet Place' in Sunnypark. The portion sizes are slightly smaller although still quite big but more pricey.

We ordered the special beef noodle soup which was had a very authentic pho beef broth. The soup was generous but there was not a lot of beef pieces or noodles. This is a very hearty dish because of the special broth but it is not very filling as there are not many ingredients.

The combination vermicelli is quite pricey at $15.90 as it includes several ingredients: sugarcane prawn, spring roll, grilled pork ball, lemongrass pork and shredded pork. Whilst all these ingredients are included, only very small quantities of each are presented. I would recommend ordering a rice vermicelli dish with just the one component (i.e. prawn, pork ball, etc.) instead of the combination option. Once again, the portion sizes are smaller than Inala and other Vietnamese restaurant locations. However, the flavours are quite great!

Rice Paper Vietnamese Cuisine is a great location for some Vietnamese food, however, I think I will return to Vietnamese food at Inala and other locations. Whilst the food here is quite tasty, there are other locations that will provide the same service and food for a significantly lower price!

Well went in for a quick snack had a main
My usual fair potty vermicelli noodled ( go a small serve) which was great had some fresh veg spring rolls

This meal was done last year one late shopping nite as quick bite before work
T
Fairly cheap

Bonus!!!! No problem getter a car park unlike other hot sots

Full of atmosphere happy people quick and accommodation

Shall return Gordons Girl

This is probably my favourite restaurant!! The food is always so fresh and delicious! The tofu ho fun is the best!! The smokiness from the wok is incredible! Their rice paper rolls are sooooo good!! Must try the grilled pork rice paper rolls and the grilled chicken salad! Service is always great and food always come quickly! Love love love!!

Good. Bought some takeaway rice paper rolls and spring rolls. Fair pricing. Delicious food. Big portion. The rice paper rolls are quite filling in comparison to the little rolls you'd get from the CBD

Haven't been reviewing as often as I use to, however my recent visit to Rice Paper has got back on board to doing some writing and expressing my feels with food.

Entering the eatery around 7:30pm, the place was packed with diners. I was promptly greeted by a staff and was taken to a table. Already knowing what I wanted, the menu wasn't needed for long.

After 10mins waiting, my bowl of Beef Pho was on the table. I took a quick sip of the fragrant soup and it was warming and delightful. A generous amount of sliced beef, beef meatballs and beef tripe were presented. The pho? deliciously silky smooth!

More than happy to return :)

I went there several time, quality of food is decreasing. Will never go back there again! Too disappointed.
I went there several time, quality of food is decreasing. Will never go back there again! Too disappointed.

Rice Paper is a long term establishment at the thriving Warrigal Square dining scene. The Vietnamese restaurant has been hugely popular over the past years with line ups almost on a daily basis. I was there for Monday lunch and ordered prawn & pork spring rolls and a big bowl of special beef pho (rice noodle).

3min from ordering, the spring rolls arrived. The four small servings were deep fried to golden brown with shredded salad on the side. Spring rolls were crispy and contain shredded carrot, minced pork and tiny re-hydrated shrimp. Taste wise, nothing special with the carrot overpowering the fillings and you can barely taste the pork & prawn. For $7.20 a serve it’s on the expensive side. 2.5/5

The special beef pho was up next containing rare sliced beef, brisket, beef ball, tendon, strip, onion and spring onion to garnish. The big bowl of happiness was well presented with decent amount of toppings and noodle. Meats were tender and flavoursome & the rice noodle cooked to perfection. A taste of the soup is where the issue begin. The whole bowl was overpowered by Thai basil with thin beef taste and virtually no depth of flavour (that’s before I added in the bean sprouts & fresh Thai basil provided). After finishing most of the solid contents I was left with a metallic after taste on the pallet and thirsty (MSG overload?). 3/5

Service side was friendly and efficient. No free hot tea was on offer though (fairly surprised). 4/5

The last time I visited (early last year) I found the taste of the pho was way more flavoursome. The spring rolls contains more meat then veggies and decent sized chopped fresh prawns was included. This time around, I was left disappointed and confused. After reading a comment from Joe K, I realized the ownership has changed a few months ago. Apart from Inala, Pho Sai Gon is still my go to place for pho in south side Brisbane.

Hint: Their spring rolls are not worth trying. Give their four treasure broken rice a go.
Kan Do
Ordered a combination '4 treasure' rice (with pork chop) for dinner the other night when Vietnamese Hut had sold out of grilled pork chops. The pork chop was obviously not grilled, and the egg was slightly overcooked but still I liked the dish overall. I would rate it a 3.5.
These guys do the best lemon cured beef salad I have had in Brisbane. It easily rates a 4.5. Other than that their other dishes are quite good and I would say they provide pretty good quality Vietnamese food.
Mrs Kan Do is a fan of their stir fries, particularly the black pepper beef and the lemongrass beef.
Have tried quite a few of their dishes, including vermicelli (bun) salads, their fried rice and a few others. Overall quite a good value place, which is always packed.

Hue Style Spicy Soup is theeeeeee best here. I love coming here and probably eat here at least once a week! I also like the Spicy Beef Pineapple Soup, the Ho Fung Beef, Crispy Maryland chicken, deep fried prawns and deep fried squid.....and the best paper rice rolls! This place never fails me!!!
Hannah K
My go to Vietnamese place for a quick hearty meal. Service and decor is very average but genuine authentic Vietnamese food! My favorite is the special beef pho
Hao Tran
Like vietnamese cripsy chicken with rice? Well this is the place to have it. Very few places manage to get the crispiness and juiciness of the chicken in the one dish. Other dishes on the menu I would say it is above average overall.
Kee
Attracted by a long queue in front of the restaurant, we decided to be on the wait list! It didn't take long to get our table though. The service was fast and efficient. We had got to order and got our meals quickly.

My friend did really enjoy the four treasure broken rice.
The Seafood rice noodle soup was average; too much noodle. The Prawn & jelly fish salad was nice and fresh but a little too sweet. Loved the fresh crunch papaya.
Three colours drink was very sweet though we orders 1/2 sweetness.
Rosie
Our favourite Vietnamese restaurant, we always come back for their bun bo hue and jellyfish salads and never fails to deliver yum yum.
EC
This is my favourite local Vietnamese place to go to. Quality is consistent, tastes great and is good value. I often get takeaway from here (beef or chicken vermicelli salad) and it is delicious every time! Also like the pho here, great flavours.
Beers4me
I don't come up here for the pho as I find it not flavourful enough to my liking but they make a fantastic vermicelli salad. Always super fresh and big portion size too. Service is fast and friendly. I could eat here every day of the week!
Modaffections
Whenever the weather drops and all I want is a hot bowl of noodles and soup this is the place to go!

No bookings required, even when they are at the busiest the longest I've waited in line was about 10 minutes. Staff are very prompt and service is definitely great for an Asian place. Manager can speak so many languages even Asian dialects!

We always order the pho with rare beef, beef brisket and beef balls. Paired together with some fresh prawn and pork rice paper rolls that come in the best peanut hoisin sauce I've ever had.

Food comes in 10 minutes even when they are busy and you don't get the feeling that they are trying to chase you away after your meal so that is great.

Conclusion: after trying a couple of Vietnamese places in Brisbane including Inala the supposed Viet town, this place tops it all for authentic Vietnamese food and at reasonable prices. Would definitely be coming back again!

This is one of our favourite take away places. Always nice and yummy... Have also eaten there a few times. We have not been disappointed and will continue to come back here.
Gloria
The lemongrass chicken is so good! Ordered a small rare beef pho, which was a mistake, should have ordered a large one! Just wish I live closer!
Xueping
Love this restaurant, and think this is the best Vietnamese food in Brisbane. The boy serving at the door of the restaurant is always polite.

Yummy Viet food at decent prices! We come here frequently and it's reliable and generally fast.

A water station is great and quite different from the usual old school urns on tables.

A couple of us particularly like coming here for the 'bbh'...bun bo hue, which is a spicy beef noodle soup. Recommend this!

Also tried their French Style beef brisket noodle soup. My husband enjoyed it quite a bit. Nice change to our usual order of Pho or rice dishes.

I would love to see more traditional items like spring rolls served with more lettuce and fresh baguettes with stews/curries. I still need to head to Inala for those.

Really close to parents room and toilets, high chairs available. Maybe a bit tight for a pram but do able if you remove a chair. Always quite busy and popular with the local Chinese community.

I have been coming to this restaurant for two years and I would say that their food were delicious. Last time, I ordered the crispy chicken with tomato rice. We waited for 30 mins, the crispy chicken was still red and had speck of blood inside it. I told the waiter that it was raw, he was super rude and said to me that thats how their chicken are served and I should have told them if I wanted it really cooked. So, I am guessing you are selling salmonella chicken? To be honest, they have been serving good food until now, I'm probably coming back not for the chicken but for the vermicelli salad.
Phildho
The meals that are served here are excellent and arrive very quickly to the table. The pho was very good and where everyone raves about the stock, I also thought the ingredients included were also very fresh and worth mentioning. Additionally, after reading several positive reviews, I challenged the spring rolls to the reputation - and came away understanding what all the fuss is about. Rice paper's are some seriously good spring rolls. Lastly (but not least) the service/ atmosphere deserves some praise. Both i thought were very friendly, relaxed and personable. I was able to share a few laughs with our waiter, and appreciated the feeling of not being rushed out for a fast turnover of the table. Recommend.

Rice Paper is an absolute breath of fresh air for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is simple, no fuss dining. Secondly, the staff are very friendly and helpful and last but not least the food is the "real" thing.

Since Vietnamese cuisine has slow but surely become popular with the masses, there are plenty of places parading as Vietnamese but put simply, you are only as good as your Pho. The Pho at Rice Paper is spot on. The broth is well made, full of flavour, proportionately balanced and it's clear they use proper techniques that don't require much tinkering at your table with the condiments. Sure, each persons palate is completely different but the Pho at Rice Paper is probably the best I've had in Brisbane.

If you like a tasty, balanced and flavoursome bowl of Pho - this is your place!
Dana
Great place, great service with a smile. Food is very fresh and tastes as food should taste. Whole office is now hooked and we go there almost everyday, sometimes in groups of 8 :)

[Completed 21/01/16] The only thing that stops me from giving this place a 5.0 is Rice paper rolls since Trang in West End is still better.

We have sampled every category of quintessential Vietnamese dish. Their Pho is the best in Brisbane; good strong flavour. Salad and Rice vermicelli salad were gorgeous. Broken rice was delicious. Hue style spicy beef noodle soup was great. Every dish is plentiful and tasty. It just makes you feel good eating here. Really fantastic place.

Original review - [Oh My God!] That is what I was thinking when I had my first mouthful of the Beef Salad. I just gave away a special spot in my heart to this place. It's only our first visit here and I want to give a 5 already even though 4.5 is the highest I'm evper gonna go for any places.

The restaurant was packed but the food came out quite quickly. Everything was so delicious, so fresh, so perfect. Quality is written all over the place. If you like Phuc Deli Viet in Indooroopilly, this one is better and about 30% cheaper. Except the rice paper roll that we still believe Trang in West End does it best.

We had Lemon Cured Beef Salad that came with Prawn Crackers, Grilled Pork Rice Paper Rolls, and Grilled Pork on Broken Rice. Everything tasted really great. I really have high hope for Pho when we come back here next time (very soon). Highly recommended x2.

P.s. This restaurant is in the shopping center cnr. Warrigal Rd and Underwood Rd. Can't always trust your GPS!

Great Vietnamese! Clearly this restaurant is very popular - it was busy the whole time with people lining up to get in. Shared rice paper rolls, black bean beef and chicken noodles. All meals came out quickly, were hot, tasty and made fresh. The meals were not too oily like in so many Asian restaurants. I will go back.
Espresso&Matcha
Many of my avid readers will know that when it comes to Pho, one of my main considerations comes down to hygiene, as I've seen quite a few instances of questionable practices in certain restaurants. So when a friend asked me which restaurant offers the best tasting pho whilst being in a clean environment, I'd definitely have to say it is Rice Paper, at Warrigal Square.
John Catsoulis
There are lots of good Viet restaurants at West End. This place is better! The food is very, very fresh and expertly cooked. Beautiful, delicate flavours. The deep fried squid is without question the best squid I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable and the serves are very big. Excellent value. The service is first class, friendly, fast and attentive. From ordering the food till the time it arrived was mere minutes. I highly recommend this place. But note, it's extremely popular so it gets busy early. If you rock up at peak time, you might not get a table.

I love Vietnamese pho and I am so happy to find this restaurant in Warrigal Square! It means I do not need to drive and find parking at market sq!

I love the beef pho! I tried the grilled chicken with fried rice which is yummy and huge! I can pack some for my next day lunch! The rice come with a Chinese soup and its unexpectedly nice too!

The three colour drink is very nice too!

Normally Vietnamese restaurants are quite wet and the floor seems sticky, but this restaurant is very clean which is a big big bonus when you bring your little ones to dine in! :)
Always fresh and the food comes out at a very fast pace. Staff are very friendly. Cant ask for more besides a clean place and fresh food. Best Viet in the area.

We had the shredded chicken salad, again, pork rice paper wraps with lemon and a Hong Kong style iced milk tea. Food and service I cannot fault. I will visit regularly.

Another local place I frequently visit, service is good for an Asian restaurant and is clean! Food is authentic, flavoursome and minimal MSG. I especially love their beef salad, very filling with lots of beef. Their rice paper rolls are also very filling and delicious!!
Red Caboose
Food: 10/10 this place has the best Vietnamese cuisine around. I love the crispy skin chicken with clear noodle broth. The salads are great too. Service: great. Ambience: Good.

Awesome food. I work late shifts just around the corner from Rice Paper and its honestly my goto place for dinner. The salt and pepper tofu is 👌

I LOVE THIS PLACE. This is what got me into vietnamese cuisine! Their grilled prawn noodle salad and iced milk tea is a must try. Also, just any other noodle salad really. Its super affordable and the amount you get is definitely filling.
Theitalianfoodie
Visited this place 3 times. Rice paper rolls and Vietnamese salads are great. Service is average so I normally order take away. It's a shame it's closed on Tuesday's.

Supreme soupie noodles:). I just had to express the wonderment that was my 'Rare beef w brisket, beef noodle soup'. I have not had vietnamese food before... so not sure if is solely the chefs skill or Vietnam itself:) but I will be back! ...the beautiful lightly gingered broth with fresh crispy sprouts and meat was perfect.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!. BEST FOOD EVA!!! I eat here at least once a week.....

Great Service and food always!. My family and I recon Rice Paper is the best Vietnamese food in Brisbane, which always brings great food and service.

Excellent vietnamese food. decently priced. excellent customer service. regular here

DELICIOUS AND FRESH, Would highly recommend. Great for lunch, not a very fancy place but the food is so good I could eat there everyday.

Love this place. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant I have tried so far. I am pleased to see that the business is doing well; having undergone an expansion of floor space to accommodate their customers. Great portion sizes, and the salad component of their dishes is always fresh!! Love their vermicelli salads and their lemongrass chicken with steamed rice. Their noodle soups are great too. Hope this place maintains its quality of food and cleanliness so that I can always come back to enjoy a great meal.
Mary_smilee
Cheap, fresh & tasty!. One of my favourite local eateries! I can never resist the grilled pork rice paper rolls, and the iced Vietnamese coffee is the perfect pick-me-up in Summer.
Thai Food Lover
Tasty and reasonable price. Always busy place, pho, pork chop broken rice and fried noodles are good, in fact most dishes are consistently good! best Vietnamese outside of inala

Best Crispy Chicken of Brisbane

Great place for lunch. Best Spicy Beef soup in Brisbane!!!
And best Combination rice paper rolls in Brisbane!

Woohoo my first review ever. Just happy to find a decent viet place close to my home i had to write one out of appreciation. Our first visit to rice paper was last sunday and food was fresh, well presented and yummy. Really nice to see a clean restaurant for a change and service was friendly and prompt. Hope it stays this way consistently!
Tish
Good affordable dinner. I came here on a Monday night. The food was pretty tasty, large servings, came out quickly, and reasonably priced. The service could have been better: my husband had a chopstick dropped on him when the dishes were cleared, and general attitude/friendliness is pretty average, but that's what you get at small Asian places so it didn't really surprise me. I'd go back again.
Sharkbaitnemo
Fair value. Fair value for money and food is ok.
Don't like that they don't have EFT facilities so it's cash only; not really acceptable in this day and age.
If you get take away they don't give you any chopsticks, forks, spoons so you have to ask for it.
Jsta
Affordable and decent meal. We dined during Sunday lunch and the service was quick and efficient. It is quite popular so there was a brief queue outside by the time we were eating.

We ordered the beef combination pho and it was quite tasty but we did think it the dish could have been improved with less beef slices and more of the meatballs and tripe.

The fried tofu however was very ordinary. The menu mentions that it comes with a special sauce, however, it did not arrive with the dish. When we asked, we were given a sweet sauce, am unsure if this was the intended sauce for the dish.

The prices are cheap in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants nearby, so would definitely recommend Rice Paper in this regard.
Hannibal Lecter
Okay dish, but rude waiter. The waiter was very rude when I was there. He didn't want to serve me, and I had to get everything myself. And when I was going to pay he was quite dismissive. Definitely ruined my experience there. One of the worst service I experienced in a restaurant. Definitely not going back and would not recommend anyone to go there.

Thank goodness. This place is amazingly good. very fresh and healthy looking salads. generous servings. cheap. friendly service. cant wait to go back.
Bonnie Ho
Absolutely delightful! Friendly and helpful staff, the food is consistently excellent. No wonder this place is always packed. Must try their spring rolls. This is possibly the best Viet restaurant in Brisbane.
Thomas Wong
Great food, great service. Ok price. Love it!

By far the best Vietnamese restaurant in Brisbane. Love the broken rice... The atmosphere feels like in Ho Chi Minh City eating . Thumbs Up. The Pho is fantastic......
Michael Dalton
Had an excellent meal today and can't wait to get back to try more. Highly recommended.
Joe
Consistently Awesome. I am a regular of this place and it hands down the best and most consistant place to eat in the area, the staff are friendly, the food is awesome and it is really well priced!! I will continue to eat here
Coconut
So many good dishes. Great no frills Vietnamese... Recommend the rice paper rolls, grilled chicken salad and the vermicelli bowls. Tasty and worth a visit. It's pretty small so you'll need to be there early or grab take away. Service can be slow but it's usually because they're so busy
The Invisible Food Critic
Update 5/8/15: always consistent at an excellent level as always. Never disappointed with this place and always safe to come here at anytime. Service is excellent and food here are absolutely awesome. The crispy chicken thigh is always smooth, juicy, crispy lean skin and at top standards. The spring rolls are always hot & crunchy with decent tasty filling. There's almost nothing I can fault here even on a busy night with plenty of takeaways plus a full house, definitely one of my top choices for a casual simple lunch or dinner :)

INITIAL REVIEW: One of the best!. This is one of my favourite places to casual dine, sometimes you'll find me here 2-3 times a week. Quick, easy, value for money and very consistent with tastes and quality. Variety of dishes makes dining available for different customers (although I only have 2-3 dishes I eat all the time). I love this place, I rate it 7/10.
Sunny Yeung
Simply the best Vietnamese restaurant in town! The ingredients are fresh, the soup is cooked fresh daily and the service is friendly and the place is clean. Best is the Pho! Keep coming back for more!
R
Food was great: cheap and fresh! The place was super clean and service efficient. Will keep going back as long as quality doesn't deteriorate!
Kewlaurel
Cheap Vietnamese food that doesn't compromise on quality. I have been here countless times since it opened about 2 months ago, and there hasn't been a time when I've been disappointed. First of all the service is friendly and efficient, tables and floors are very very clean (hopefully it stays this way), there's a huge selection of food (only a few vegetarian options though but at least they're fully vegetarian and they remember not to give you fish sauce). and best of all it's cheap - oh and no surcharge on public holidays!
I've tried the pho, the bun bo hue, the prawn and pork rice paper rolls, 2 of the vermicelli salads and they have been amazing. The spring rolls are exceptional too, very very crunchy on the outside and the filling is full of flavour! I think what makes their food so good is the use of very fresh and high quality ingredients. I think that's the first step to good food and they have done it at good prices! I just really hope they continue to be this good!
Captainshaft
Surprisingly Good. I didn't think any Vietnamese noodle shop here would be good. But this little noodle shop has beaten my expectations. It's as good as any of the Vietnamese noodle shop in Inala. Well done, keep up the good service and great food!!
Melissa
Absolutely outstanding!
Hannah K.
The ambience and decor leaves much to be desired with nothing more than a oil painting of an artists rendition of what possible could be Mekong River. The tables were a bit crowded and squished together with one lonely table that is wedged in the back corner leaving it reminiscent of detention back in primary school where you sit by your lonesome staring at the wall. I ordered Special Beef Pho and my sister ordered a Grilled Chicken & Beef Pho which came out within 10mins. Having been travelling around Vietnam and tasted authentic pho I couldn't help but compare the taste and this
