The BEST BAR IN BRISBANE! Bloodhound Bar is just as amazing for after-work drinks, a catch-up, a night out and party functions! Had my 40th there recently and it was the best! Great staff, great food and great beer! 🌮🍻
This place is awesome! Love the craft beer and food and is in a great location. I will be sure to sure to show my support during COVID through purchasing takeaways. I am sure once COVID is gone and I am out of isolation - Bloodhound will better than ever! Can't wait !!!
This is my favourite bar in Brisbane, top class food and a beer fridge second to none! Highly recommend the tacos with a few takeaways for home.

We had a lunch for my sons birthday here. It was a lazy Sunday and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They organised us a table in the back area with a high chair for my grand daughter. It is bar service which is a good option for a large group so there’s no drama over splitting the bill at the end of the visit. We tried beers, ciders, wine, bubbles as well as food. The tacos were great especially the spicy pumpkin ones... the offered 3 for $10. A few of us ate burgers which all were eaten quickly- so must have been good! Others tried jalapeño poppers, fried pickles and popcorn chicken for starters. I had a vegetarian board- dips, olives, bread... really delicious. There were also chicken wings- massive serve - which were also tasty. We brought a birthday cake which they were more than happy to let us serve - no surcharge. Great venue for a lunch or quiet drink... excellent value !!
Got menu log chicken burger and chips. Some chips were undercooked and the chicken was a little dry in areas (so -1 star) but overall pretty good.
Love the fit out and location is great for pre drinks. The tequeños we ordered were fantastic. The use of halloumi to replace the fresh cheese typically used makes these taste very close to the original deal. They took no time to bring them out to the table and it was a perfect bar snack to accompany our beverages.
Delightful space and nice staff, food is lovely and fresh. Had a big function upstairs and the whole experience was positive and fun. Good time and i recommend to everyone in the vicinity :)
Stopped in for lunch on a quiet Sunday and were pleasantly surprised at the delicious food. Firstly, the beer selection is great! Excellent craft beers and not too crazy on the price front.
For food we chose tacos and a charcuterie board. The board came first and everything on it was high quality and absolutely delicious. The olives were lovely, meats very tasty, gorgeous bread and the whole thing just tasted fantastic. The tacos were also really good. We had one each of the beef, fish and chicken. Great flavours but the tortillas were definitely the best - very authentic, haven't tasted them that good since we were in Mexico.
The service is a little light on but for a lazy Sunday lunch this worked fine for us. Excellent value being on the Entertainment Card. Yum!

Great spot. Clearly popular with locals. Bartender was super friendly, and the beer selection was tasty. We also tried the tacos which may now be my favourite tacos in Queensland 😋

Chicken curry fries were crispy and spiced well.
Mushroom Jalepeno taco was addictive
And beautifully spicy.
Both beef tacos were far too salty (and I like salty).
All in all I'll be back!
I came across this place while doing a search for a venue to have my son’s 21st birthday party and I’m so glad I did. What a great place, we had the upstairs area with our own bar Kevin was fantastic as were the rest of the staff, food was sooo tasty and came out regularly. Everyone has a great time and not far for them to continue to the nightclubs. Loved it
Great craft beer and atmosphere. Love the Santa IPA. Foods are great overall but my cheese burger was lacking flavours and seasoning.
Also, we were a group of 10+ people sitting across two tables. Foods came out from the kitchen 15 mins apart between tables. Some had already finished with their foods and we got nothing to eat. Seemed like the kitchen couldn’t handle the orders.
I should have gotten the bar dudes name but he was AMAZING! Such a friendly, warm and welcoming guy! The reason why you want to come back to any venue these days. You can feel how passionate and flexible he is with his job and being a massive people person! What a gem. Delicious Old Fashioned's, thank you so much!

Service was impeccable and friendly. Great assistance was offered with beers on tap. We enjoyed some lighter side dishes with a few pints. Very happy all round, will be back again for more doggo action!!
