Review Thai Kitchen - Brisbane

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Brisbane. The decor is nothing special but the food is exquisite. I’ve been coming here for almost 25 years.

We’ve enjoyed the wonderful food here for nearly 20 years ..... at least fortnightly (yep, over 500 meals!). Always quality ingredients, great service and friendly proprietor

Family has been going here for decades. Always excellent food. Wonderful pastry wrapped prawn rolls, pad thai and delicious curry.

Fantastic place. Best Thai in Brisbane. Lovely staff. They have the best spring rolls I've ever had, and the best pad Thai.

Our local Thai which we have been coming to for more than 20 years - always very good food (best pad thai ever) and always very friendly service

Used to be absolutely obsessed with this restaurant the food is amazing. However, last time I went here the portion sizes had reduced and the prices have been increased. The lady working said that the restaurant was taken over by new people. Great food just wish it could go back to its old ways :(

We haven't been there for some time BUT OMG I had forgotten how delicious the food here is - the red curry is to die for!!!!! Spring rolls, fish balls - totally yumm. We are going to make a point of going more often seeing it's local to us

I have been going to Thai Kitchen since I was a kid. Hands down best Thai restaurant in Bris! The food is outstanding and the service warm and friendly. The host always remembers me by name. My favourite go to dishes are the Green Chicken Curry, Chili and Basil Prawns and the Fish Ball entree. Tom Yum is also amazing. If I lived closer I'd be here every week!

It is with much pride that I urged these folks to open this Thai cafe nineteen years ago. I have not been for some time so this week we visited agin and just hoped that Judy and her husband were still there. Bingo! they were and the place was full to brim with the phone ringing off the hook with eager customers. Just imagine how good you have to be to last nineteen years. We opened our dig withe prawns in chilli and basil, with their famous crabmeat with fried rice and a steaming bowlf od chicken in green curry. If anything the food is better than nineteen years ago, fabulous, authentic Thai, not the dumbed down coconut tinned cream offerings from most so called Thai cafes.Nothing goes close in Brisbane, when it comes to Thai.Robbie Zuttion(International Foodie"

Just rude. We arrived at 8.05 for a 7.45 booking, on a Friday night, and was greeted with a very unfriendly, exasperated tone of voice. We were told we were too late, the kitchen was closing as she pointed at the clock like a angry teacher an I was her student . And we were shown the door, we were a party of two by the way. Our business was much more appreciated elsewhere that night. I've eaten there before but probably won't again. Foods ok, but u better eat fast!

Just rude. The foods ok but the head women there was just plain rude. We arrived at 8.05 for our 7.45 booking, on a Friday night no less. We were greeted with a pretty unfriendly women who said we were too late, the kitchen was closing an shown the door, we were a party of two by the way. Our business was much more appreciated elsewhere that night. She always seems focused on getting out the door herself than ensuring her customers have a good night.

Awesome Thai!. We went here after a friend recommended it. Small restaurant and extremely busy. Staff were friendly, but it did take them 20mins to take our order. To their defence they were getting out quite a lot of take away orders, that were walking past the back of my chair throughout my meal. It is small, so expect people walking through to get their take-away orders checking out what you have ordered all through your dinner! All that aside, when the food did come it was very good. Best in Brisbane? I probably need to eat more Thai! lol But yes, very good! Again staff are wonderfully warm :)

Favourite Thai. My whole family has been going to Thai Kitchen in Wilston since Judy opened about 15 years ago. Best Thai in Brisbane. Would recommend to anyone. Many interstate friends still rave about this restaurant.

Good thai. We like the chicken cashew nut, however the curry puffs aren't that great. A bit pricey.

I love the food!. I absolutely love the Thai green curry, we live just up the road and it is my take out of choice =) However, it is expensive so we don't eat there nearly as often as I would like!

They do sell the Thai Green sauce, so sometimes that is a cheaper option.

I will add that we have probably eaten take out from here about @ 20 times in the last year and it has always been excellent.

Awesome delicious Thai food! A bit expensive though and smaller portions than usual - but delicious!

Best Thai I've tasted!!. My Fiance and I went here for the first time last night. Both waitresses on were very nice, and welcoming. The food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicous! Even the spring rolls were the best ones we have tasted.
A bit on the expensive side, but well worth it!
Definately recommending to friends! : D Most tables were reserved though, so make sure you book!

Best Thai food ever. I have become addicted to the food here - especially the green curry and red curry with beans. I have eaten a great deal of Thai takeaway in my time and this beats all the others hands down.

I have never eaten in the restaurant itself as the lighting in there is so bright you could perform surgery.

I had the chicken penang curry takeaway. It was beautiful, however very pricey. $21. If it were a little cheaper, I'd head back for sure.

Fresh & generous serving. Thai Kitchen is a family business. We had takeaway on a Saturday night & the restaurant was full. The kitchen closes at 8.15pm with no exceptions & a nice treat is that there is no corkage charge for wine if dining in the restaurant. On the expensive side ie. $15 for Tom Yum Soup, $17 for Chicken Penang, our takeaway portion were generous. Flavours were amazing and as the menu promises everything is cooked fresh. If you a lover of Thai food this is a must try indeed.
